I liked the room, small but cozy, clean, corresponds to the photo on the website, we had a small balcony in the room, where you can drink coffee in the morning, there is a coffee machine in the room, they gave capsules for it, they took out the garbage from the room every day. Good location, within walking distance of the Colosseum, there is a bus stop not far from the hotel, it is convenient to get to the famous places of Rome. Also, it is very convenient that there is a supermarket nearby, delicious restaurants, not far from the train station.

There are no hooks in the bathroom, so we hung towels on the shower cabin, not convenient(((

We both really enjoyed how close it was to the Colosseum And the main train station Very modern and had everything we needed for our short city stay Property also came with a lift, which was very convenient Very secure building Local to very nice restaurants

When booking I checked that the city tax was included Which I had taken a picture of But when arriving, I was told that I would need to pay city taxes so did have to check with Booking.com Luckily, I’ve taken a picture to prove that it was within the booking

My partner and I recently stayed at conte guesthouse and have only positive things to say. Location was superb, around a 10 min walk to Roma termini station. As well as a 10 min walk to the stunning colosseum and other historical landmarks. Marina our host was incredible, from the second I booked I received communication regarding check in/ arrival arrangements. She greeted us at the main door on arrival and gave us all the relevant instructions for our stay - thank you Marina ❤️ The hotel itself is everything you need for a budget friendly stay in Rome, our room was cleaned daily, beds made and had a lovely modern yet rustic feel to it. The building offers a genuinely authentic Italian experience with the original elevator still in use. There are numerous local authentic restaurants and cafes right on the doorstep which we loved. There is also a supermarket right across the street which came in handy! Honestly cannot recommend this place enough ❤️

Nothing, couldn’t fault a thing!

The room was located 7 mins on foot away from metro (do not board the train during rush hour or risk your wallet being stolen) and 15mins on foot from the Colosseum - ie not too shabby. The street it self was fairly busy (some sirens at night) but on the other hand lots of coffee shops everywhere, and the supermarket was just 30 steps away. The room was cleaned every day, towels got changed every other day - superb service. It had a fairly large closet that we could stash clothes and all our empty suitcases in it (4-night stay). The beds were large and the mattresses comfortable, and there were no rails at the bed's end which is great for tall people. The room was also equipped with a smart TV - perfect for some Netflix before bed after a long day of walking. Self check-in also worked out well. Instructions were pretty clear and easy to follow.

- The room could have been a tad more spacious - but since we were out most of the day, it worked fine for us. - Some extra coat hangers would also come in handy. - The bathroom although in good working condition generally, it would still benefit from some improvements: there was no shelf for shampoos in the shower (it looked broken/removed) and some extra space for hanging towels out to dry would also be appreciated.

The room was well taken care of and we had all the amenities needed for a good stay. Location-wise it is very well situated as there is a bus stop just down the road that takes you to the colosseum in just around 5-10mins. It is also really close to Termini Station from where we got off the bus to the airport. The self check-in was really convenient and the staff was kind + helpful with given us the instructions. Definitely will be looking to book in the future for my next visits to Rome :)

All was great!

We really like this place. Location was awesome. Not so crowded area, close to Colosseum, metro station and few bus stations. Very good supermarket just nearby. And what I personally like is their old and fancy elevator. Staff was nice and polite. So everything was good.

Honestly I have no idea why people are complaining about this place in the comments. Host offers exactly what is described. Yes rooms are not very big, toilet also. But everything is described and you could see it from the pictures as well. I personally like this place, it met my expectations. I'm writing this section only for the people, who could be worried because of other comments. This is really good place for his price. Yes, it's not 3-5 start hotel, but not like you're booking a hotel. So everything is good here. The only real issue was the walls. They're really tiny and we could hear what's happening in other rooms, but again it was not so horrible or very annoying. So everything is good

It was in a great location. An easy walk to the Coliseum and we also walked from Termini station ( a little far with the luggage). It was a little weird getting into the place. It doesn’t have a sign, just a big old door so make sure you have a prearranged time. They were great about answering my messages on the chat. We would definitely stay there again. Also a great grocery store right near with lots of very inexpensive wines!

The check in process was a little stressful. We got there and there wasn’t a sign or anything.

Excellent location, a lot of restaurants and coffee shops near by. Ten minutes walk to Colosseum and Terminal station. Supermarket across the street…

The only thing missing for us were some extra hangers in the bathroom to dry our towels. Everything else was ok.

We had to book last minute due to issues with our AirBnB. Within 20mins of booking we were in our room. Staff were really friendly. The room was clean and spacious and perfect for our needs. The windows blocked out a lot of noise, you wouldn’t know the street was so busy. Great location for transport options including the metro, trams and buses!

Lift was temperamental

Excellent location! Within walking distance of the key historic sites in Rome. Facilities were clean.

Google maps listed this as a hotel with free breakfast, and some reviews mentioned a free breakfast, so we were disappointed to learn no breakfast was included with our stay. Also, we arrived late (after 11 pm), and I'm not sure we would have been able to get through the outside door to get in if we weren't fortunate enough to follow someone else in.
