Giordano has a beautiful soul. He made us feel completely at home ir Rome, which, by the way, is the best city in the world. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and cozy, with air conditioning, with coffees and cornetti. The cleaning ladies are also very friendly and kind. The location was perfect, we could go almost everywhere by foot. The public transportation was amazing as well. Many good restaurants nearby, Giordano gave us recommendations and a map, he told us about Panella which is the best bakery in Rome for sure. I will never forget of the pizza/focaccia that I have eaten there during my stay in Rome. We had the best days of our lives. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Rome, you will have a great experience.

Everything was perfect.

Giordano was a wonderful host, friendly, helpful, and very responsive on WhatsApp. The location is excellent, with easy access to the Colosseum and Roman Forum, and within walking distance to both the tram and Metro. The room and bathroom were clean and reasonably spacious by Rome standards, and the small fridge in the room was a convenient touch. The internet was also reliable, which we appreciated. We had a fantastic stay and really appreciated Giordano allowing us to leave our luggage with him on our last day so we could explore the city before catching our train.

The lift is a bit quirky and takes some time to get used to, but it does the job.

Excellent location, close to the main interesting places (several hundred meters from the Garden of the Emperor Trajan, Nero Domus Aurea and the Colosseum, as well as from the basilicas Santa Maria Maggiore and San Giovanni in Lateran) to the metro station and to many restaurants and bistros. The host/owner, Giordano, was extremely helpful, answered all our questions and rapidly found solutions to our demands. Towels were changed every day, the bed was perfectly arranged too. There is a coffee machine in the entrance area and coffee capsules on the table in the room, together with some small croissants and fruit juice.

Our room looked upon the street and was very noisy in the night. There are other rooms on that floor that might be more quiet.

We were late arriving because of travel problems, but our host waiting for us and was very patient. He still took the time to explain the area, places to see, and especially things to look out for and be aware of. Our host was excellent, stayed in touch with us via WhatsApp messaging and always answered quickly. The airport shuttle was arranged easily through our host and it arrived early! Excellent stay.

Nothing could have been improved. The room was excellent, our host extremely prompt and helpful in every way, and only a brisk 10 minute walk from the colosseum, you couldn't ask for much more. Even the fridge was restocked each day.

The location is extremely welcoming and impeccably clean, a real refuge after a long day of exploring the city. What made our stay truly special was the host, Giordano. He is a wonderful person, an extraordinary communicator, and a great help in any situation. Even though we had not booked breakfast, he ensured we had fresh croissants, juice, and coffee every morning, a gesture of rare generosity that exceeded all our expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend this location and its exceptional host. It was a perfect experience, and we will definitely be back. Thank you for everything!

We can highly recommend Sole e Luna. The location is perfect—the Colosseum, Piazza Venezia, Fontana di Trevi, Piazza di Spagna and other central landmarks are within walking distance. The Manzoni metro station is very close, about a 5-minute walk. The connection to the Vatican is excellent if you take Metro Line A from Manzoni metro station. The apartment is quiet and clean, and we had everything we needed. Our host Giordano was super kind and gave us great recommendations for pasticcerie, bars, restaurants, gelato, and more. He offered self check-in and check-out, which was super easy. On our last day, we had the opportunity to leave our luggage and pick it up later before heading to the airport. Next time, I would definitely book this apartment again!

Location was wonderful, a short walk away from the train station and the colloseum. A Gelato and MiniMarket across the street and lots of restaurants nearby. Room was cleaned every day and crossaints, juices and coffee capsules were provided every day which where lifesavers when leaving to explore the city!

Elevator is small and hotel Is located on the 4th floor. It's a very minor thing when thinking of the positives!

Giordano is a very professional, warm hearted local host. From the day we arrived at Rome airport (even before!) to the day we checked out he had been very much proactively giving the information about the stay as well as the trip advice. The property is clean, neat and cozy. The cleaning lady comes everyday. Also, the mini kitchen in the corridor helps a lot with morning coffee/tea. Fully recommend!

Nice location and quiet, considering you are in Rome. The staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. Simone gave us some great tips and told us about the oldest gelato shop in Italy, which is nearby. It has a shared fridge and coffee facilities but they are very clean and well presented. Close to colosseum and easy to walk around. Metro nearby to access the Vatican and other sights. Whilst we love Pasta, for a change we tried the Vietnamese restaurant downstairs and it is delicious and very well priced. Has a tiny elevator but it is well appreciated.

Mattress is a little soft for my liking, but that’s a personal thing.

Great accommodation in a great location. I stayed here with two young children and it was perfect. Super close to major sights (like the Colosseum), and the Metro, buses, restaurants, and grocery stores. Giordano was an excellent host - super accommodating, took me through a map of Rome giving his recommendations on the 'must-see' things, and also sent me a bunch of restaurants and shops to try out with recommendations on food, etc. He went above and beyond for us. The room itself was bigger than expected, beds were comfortable, and despite being on a main road, the room was quiet. Fresh water machine available just outside the room and a coffee machine too. A small lift is available so you don't have to worry about climbing the stairs, aircon available for the hotter days. A great stay, and excellent value for money. Can't recommend enough.
