What a wonderful place to stay in Rome! The Merulana Suite Apartment is set in a historic building located in a very safe area, just a 10-minute walk from the Colosseum. Step outside the building, turn your head to the right, and there it is — an easy stroll away. You also have several bus stops just a couple of minutes’ walk from the apartment, making it very convenient to get around the city. The apartment itself is beautiful. They welcome you with thoughtful touches like snacks, a bottle of wine, and pasta to cook at home. Toiletries are provided in case you forget something, and there’s even a hair dryer and, the best part after long days exploring Rome, a foot massager. OMG, it truly saved us after all that walking!

Couldn’t recommend this property enough! The hosts were very helpful and responsive, Pema met us at the door, made sure we were settled in, and gave us great recommendations to start off our trip smoothly. The apartment was spotless, equipped with air conditioning, and the bathroom had plenty of extra amenities. We were pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful welcome arrangement of pasta, wine, and snacks in the kitchen. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the Colosseum and only a few minutes from the bus stop, making it very easy to get around. Overall, this stay exceeded our expectations and made our time in rome very enjoyable! Would definitely book again.

Good location for Colosseum. Bust stop right outside to head into other sites. Metro 5 min walk away, though bus was less chaotic! Comfy beds, clean, nice bathrooms, very friendly hosts giving good advice on restaurants (used 3 and 2 were really nice). Oganisised lifts to and from the airport, which was helpful. Beautiful entryway to the apartment building. Some welcome goodies left, and also toiletries provided too which was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend staying here.. Relaible host and what we needed after being duped with other hosts in Rome before.

A little tired in bits but didn't bother us too much. Not a massive communal relaxing space but we weren't looking for that as we spent most of the time out of the apartment.

Merulana Suite Apartment was a great location to visit the Colesseum; about a 10 minute walk. Numerous restaurants and bars were within 5 to 10 minutes away. There’s a coffee shop right next door that makes delicious coffee and pastries. The suite itself was spacious, clean and had a very comfortable bed and great shower! The host left wine, coffee, pasta and sauce as a welcome gift! The wifi here was super fast. We really loved our stay here and would defiantly stay here again if we ever get back to Rome!!

Merulana was a beautiful historic building only blocks from The Colosseum and Palenstine Hill. Loads of great restaurants nearby with the Metro Station a short five minute or so walk away. With a family of five this three bedroom, two bathroom apartment was very spacious and just what we had hoped. Pema helped with our arrival, getting us checked in and offered lots of great info for all the things in and around Rome. She was awesome. The unit is stocked with all the things. The apartment is showing its wear and tear and could use some updates for comfort purposes (beds, linens, furniture). For the price point and location it was a good stay.

Beautiful old historic building with views of the Colosseum from the street. The staff were very communicative and gave detailed instructions and met us on our arrival. They even provided recommendations on restaurants and things to do. The apartment had plenty of room for our group of 7. It is walking distance to the Colosseum, and the area itself was not too crowded. Close to several bus stops so we took the bus to most of the other major sights.

Even with AC it was a little warm in the apartment, but it was summer so that was expected.

We were like 7 minutes walk from the colosseum and only 20 minutes to Termini station. It was perfect because i didn’t want to be too close to termini but also not too far. We were only 4 girls and in day time, there is a guard at the property and at night time only people from apartment can access the property fence with personal key so we felt very safe and the host was very welcome and helpful. He gave us a list of all the local food places and was always easy to ask questions

It was near the tram station. Hosts were nice! They allowed us early checkin and late checkout. They immediately took action on an issue we had during our stay. We were welcomed by property manager upon our arrival with gifts of wine and other food itmes.

The showers were small. We had a problem with the toilet being clogged because a previous guest flushed a diaper into the toilet 😡. Our host Leonardo inmediately took action although we had to wait a while for the availability of the repairman

This is a great location, very close to the Colosseum and lots of restaurants. There are 2 coffee shops and a grocery store within steps of the apartment. The rooms were comfortable and the staff was friendly and responsive.

There are several pictures of 2 different apartments on the site, so you don’t really know which you are getting. We thought there was a table and chairs and a living space. In our apartment there was just a small couch in the kitchen that fit 2 people and a bar and uncomfortable bar stools. This typically would not be a big deal, but we had an ill child and had to spend more time than expected in the apartment and there was no area to gather in.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Merulana Suite Apartment, it’s a very cute apartment in the heart of the city. The showers were really powerful and the rooms were quite big and comfortable. The hosts rep was very attentive to our needs, telling us all the best places to go and eat at, and what sites to visit. This property was minutes away from the colosseum (you can see it from the front door of the apartment block) Food shops within 1 minute walk from the house.

Absolutely nothing
