Travelled with my 14 year old daughter, location was perfect, walking distance to all atractions, room was comfortable and cleaned every day and was spotless, host was available to assist at any time and was extremely helpful. Room contained a double bed and a single bed with a pull out bed option so would be suitable for a family of 4.

We had a wonderful stay at Dirienzo Palace. Location can't be beat. We were in the heart the city walking distance to most attractions. Every morning we enjoyed coffee and "cornetto" overlooking the Pantheon. Simply breathtaking. The property had an "old charm" with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The A/C was very cold which is usually not the case in most places in Europe. I read the negative reviews. Sometimes peoples expectations are too high. This is not a 5 star hotel. It's a small boutique hotel offering a great stay at an affordable price. I can't say enough of our host Salvo. He was charming, funny, cheerful and at our every disposal. Anything we needed he was there to accomodate. We can't wait to return to Rome. We will most definitely stay at the Pantheon Palace.

Great location, 3 minutes walk to Pantheon and to Piazza Navona. Walking distance to all the tourist places. The hotel is in a residential building with a personal key for every resident, many steps to climb to a reception and the elevator from the reception to a living floors. Clean room with little kitchen and a patio out of kitchen. Good value for money. Salvo is great, very welcoming and helpful. We stayed at the “ingrid” room.

We arrived in Rome from our 15 day cruise and Salvo had a car pick us up at the port and take us to the hotel. He was there to greet us and welcomed us to his beautiful hotel. He gave us information about the area, where to shop/eat/ect. The room was very spacious for the three of us and we extremely happy with our stay. The location was awesome. Just a bit off the path to not be too noisy, but able to walk to see the Vatican, colosseum, the fountains and just a few steps from the Pantheon.

The only thing that could have been better is if we were able to stay longer. Unfortunately, we were all a bit under the weather after the cruise and with the weather not so great in Rome the next day we decided to leave a day early. Again Salvo helped us with our travel arrangements to the airport and everything the next morning simple. Nothing to do with the facility or staff. They were all great and we look forward to going back for a longer stay.

The location was fantastic and host Salvo was so friendly and a great communicator. The bedroom was comfortable and spacious. Great to have the terrace upstairs although we were too busy to make use of this! Also nice to have the little Juliette balcony attached to our room. Great service to have the room tidied every day.

There was no bin in the kitchen, only a bathroom bin. The three rooms were a little tired and worn and in need of some TLC. A lot of dust around the tile borders in bathroom and soap holders in shower not very clean. The shower was very small and found it very hard to adjust the temperature but the pressure was great.

Very central location, less than 5 mins walk to the Pantheon, convenience store right around the corner, plenty of good restaurants and cafes around. Beautiful hotel in a historical building with lots of antique furniture and decorations throughout the hotel and in the room. Host was very nice helping us handling luggage, recommending us great restaurants and cafes.

It was in a historical building so no lift to the room, not great for people travelling with a buggy, but the host did help us handling our luggage. Central locations which means noise during mid night. Wasn't too bad if all windows are closed but that forces us to use the air con day and night.

The location was perfect. We were 3 minutes from the Pantheon and a short walk to Trevi Fountain. Lots of restaurants and cafes to walk to. The owner was great to communicate with, and when we arrived he met us on the street and helped us up the stairs to the unit. There was a mini-fridge to use. The bathroom was HUGE, which was perfect for 3 women staying together. The air-conditioning was terrific. The daily cleaner did an excellent job. The owner went out of his way to help when we needed it, for example, at check-out he helped us find a taxi and get us off to the train station on time. Highly recommend.

When you first walk into the room, it impresses you as a knock-out 10! Plenty of room for two people. Beautiful bathroom. Great location for walking to many of the main sites. Very close to the Pantheon.

We stayed for 3 nights... After the initial positive impact of the room we encountered toilet function issues, air conditioning that did not cool as well expected, low shower pressure and small areas of peeling paint. An honest rating for the price would be an 8.5.

This is a lovely little boutique hotel run by the manager, Salvo. His communication beforehand was excellent, and he was on site to welcome us and he was very attentive to all our needs during the stay. He was friendly, reliable, and very helpful. The location is within five minutes walk to the Pantheon. We walked everywhere - Spanish Steps, St. Peters, Colosseum - in every direction and it was very convenient. The room was comfortable and clean.

The shower was small and the water pressure and heating took time to stabilise in the morning. Otherwise the bathroom was excellent. The hotel does not serve breakfast, but alternatives are available nearby.

The host. Salvo, is exceptionally warm and welcoming and does everything for his guests. He was concerned and helpful whenever I had a question or needed some help.

In Italy the air condition systems, inside and outside, often make hissing sounds. if you are from Northern Europe, you are not used to that (since we do not use AC - we don't need it with our cold weather). I did not understand at first that the staff automatically put on the AC in the room whenever they cleaned, so the the hissing sound came back when I thought I was rid of it.
