The room is located just outside of the Vatican City and right around the corner from the Metro making it super easy to get around Rome to see the sights. The host and his mother were lovely and welcoming and the view of the church from the room was beautiful.

The bathroom is in a separate room across the corridor which I wasn't aware of until we arrived (more than likely due to me not reading the facility information properly when booking). I would have preferred the bathroom be attached to the room but that is simply my personal preference, once we got used to having to cross the corridor to use the toilet/shower it really was fine.

The location is one of the best – just a short walk to the metro, which makes exploring the city so easy. The property itself is very clean and incredibly comfortable, with a cosy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff are wonderful – always smiling, friendly, and ready to help with anything you need. After the recent jubilee reconstruction, the building feels fresh and modern, yet it’s perfectly integrated into the charming pedestrian area nearby. It’s such a cool and inviting place to stay – I would definitely come back!

The host was flexible and allowed us to leave our bags early as we arrived before the check in time. The place is very close to the subway station and within a walking distance from Vatican.

The bathroom was not en suite. I knew that when I booked and thought it would be ok but still it felt odd making a dash across the hallway in my underwear. It was also extremely noisy right outside our windows and difficult to sleep. There was renovation happening in the building but it didn’t bother us, it was more the street noise. I also think it was quite pricey.

absolutely amazing host ! he was so lovely and welcoming. He cleaned the rooms everyday and if you had any questions he would answer without hesitation.Could not recommend here more ! Room was huge and we had the room with an interior en suite and all the facilities were perfect for what we needed them for . he even sorted us out an airport transfer with a lovely driver when we were struggling to find transport ourselves . location was amazing as less then a minute walk away from the metros.

We only stayed one night, but it was lovely. The accommodations are simple, with the bathroom across the hallway from our room, but everything was clean and comfortable. The location can’t be beat for convenient access to the metro and Vatican! Joshua was extremely helpful and accommodating, especially as we had to change our travel plans fairly close to the arrival date.

We had a great stay here. The host is very kind and carefull. The rooms and facilities are new and hygienic. Even some service for making up the rooms everyday was provided, which I did not expect and was a nice extra. The location is perfect with Vaticano and lots of good restaurants at walking distance and the metro line around the corner. I highly recommend this room and guest house!

The room was clean. The bathroom was big. The location was near the Ottaviano metro station as well as the Vatican museums. There was a small kitchen for use with all basic amenities like a kettle, microwave oven, disposable cups, etc.

1) The bathroom is external to the room. We were well aware of it during booking so no complaints. But it is a little inconvenient to go out each time you want to use it. 2) It was like a homestay, so we are more or less responsible for opening and closing the main door if we are coming in a little late (after 8 pm) or leaving early (before 8 am or so). Basically, there is no 24 hour reception facility. 3) There is a little effort to find the door to get in the first time you are visiting. So make sure you are in good touch with the host to figure that out.

Good price (especially in Rome) with spacious rooms. Nice location: very near to Vatican and metro station Ottaviano, convenient to go anywhere. And staff is very friendly! Most accommodating guest house I’ve been to in Rome. Host is so considerate and helpful with our unforeseen issues. Provided the necessities and even more. Room, toilet and kitchen was well-equipped, clean and comfortable. Location wise is very strategic, Station is a 2-3 minute walk, many restaurants and cafes surrounding the area and you can walk to all of the historical landmarks in a 50 minute walk radius. There’s a McDonald’s and jollibee 1 minute away which makes it easier to get fast food.!

The outside and just inside the entry doors may not provide great appeal...but the lift to the 1st floor was welcome as was the warmth of the host when we got inside... Big, clean room with only downside being an external bathroom across the hallway but still for private use and was also very clean... A bottle of water on arrival was also warmly received... and the fact that it is approx 100m from the nearest train station was a big bonus.
