All staff couldn't have been more welcoming or friendlier. The room was large and ideally situated. (Slept up to 4 in 2 double beds - one of which was a converted sofa bed). Less than a 10 minute slow walk to the Vatican, 25 minutes to the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps & approx 50 minutes to the Colesseum - all pleasant walks. Lots and lots of shops and restaurants around. Felt totally safe. Air conditioning ample and very much needed! Rooms were clean with towels changed daily.

Beds weren't the comfiest - but for a few nights I wouldn't let that put you off as so many positives out way this one negative.

Stefano made us feel very welcome, gave us a coffee upon arrival & helped with directions to our meeting point for a tour & availability of restaurants. Safe, secure apartment, no noise, very clean & excellent location, easy walk to the Vatican City. Fresh varied breakfast. Stefano gave good advice on our journey to the airport for the next morning, timings allowing for traffic & he arranged a private taxi (€10 extra on top of €55, but well worth it), which worked well. A lovely, short stay & would recommend & stay there again.

Very good location for Vatican visit and dining out on foot and Rome city sightseeing by public transportation. Even Piazza del Popolo is in walking distance. Typical Italian style breakfast was at higher quality than standard 3 star hotels in Rome. The owners (mother and son) were very friendly and professional with multilingual skill, (Italian, English, and French with us.) The room and the common area were so clean and well maintained, and the room was large enough for us, 2 adults and 2 small kids.

Our room was on the street side, and the noise from the windows such as cars and pedestrians' voices were a bit annoying sometimes at night. It was quite okay before we went to bed, and maybe it was because of the year-end & new year period.

Great location close to Vatican City and a bit quieter than staying in central Rome, which we still found to be easily accessed on foot. We ate out every evening at local restaurants, all within a few minutes of the Polinari Rooms, and alongside locals. Great hosts who clearly enjoy what they do and want to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and breakfast was lovely.

A beautiful, clean and bright place to stay away from the chaos that can be found in other areas of Rome. We were greeted with coffee, and accommodated beautifully including making our 2 year old feel welcome and taken care of (with snacks and milk offered upon arrival, thank you!!). The room was very comfortable - we wish we could have stayed longer in the very comfortable beds - and breakfast was lovely. Taxi was booked for us for our morning departure - thank you so much!

We chose this property because of its excellent location. This part of the city is calm, beautiful, and safe. We were very satisfied with the staff—Stefano was especially nice and helpful. Everyone spoke English. Rome is currently undergoing reconstruction, and Otaviano is closed, with work happening all around the city, but it will likely be finished by 2025. It was the perfect location very close to Vatican City and good walking to most sites. Breakfast supplied was sufficient. Stephan and Leslie were wonderful! If we had a need it was taken care of. Needed transportation to the airport and Stephan reserved a private care for just 10 euros over a taxi. Well worth it.

Property is on excellent place. Only 1 km from Vatican, 800 meters from St. Peters square. Also, you can go walking to Fontaine Di Trevi and Piazza Navona. For Colosseum you need bus or Metro, but the Station is only 200 meters away. Run by family, mother and son. They were very friendly and pleasant. Also, they give us very useful Tips about restaurants, Public Transport and so many other things about Romans way of food and coffee. Apartment was very clean, breakfast was very good.

The property was very clean and spacious. We had a late check-in due to our arrival but he was very kind and waited for us. Same with your check-out we were allowed to leave our luggage and came to pick them up later. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean with lots of towels. Breakfast was good with many kinds of fruits, breads, cheese and hams. They have an elevator if you need to bring up your luggage. The location is great with lots of restaurant.

Excellent location within close walking distance to the Vatican museums and subway and also easy distance to important - and impressive! - landmarks (Trevi, Pantheon, Roman forums, Colosseum etc). Building entrance is like many others on the street and somewhat easy to miss. Look out for building unit directory/buzzer listing Polinari rooms to the right of the front gate. Enjoyable and comfortable stay. As some previous guests have observed, important to remember the historical nature and age of most buildings around this location and adjust expectations accordingly.
