The location was perfect. Right near the Saint Angels Castle, Vaticano and the metro. I walked to all the places. It took me around 30 min to reach Campo di Fiori. The host was amazingly helpful. Before my arrival I received detailed instructions on how to reach the hotel and open the room. The room itself was quite spacious, clean and well-equipped. I asked for an iron and there was one for me. There is a small fridge in room as well as an electric kettle, still water and tea pigs. There is a common kitchen with plates, cuttlery and glasses. Everyone can use them.

My room faced the street and at night it was very noisy. Since it was late June and the temperatures were high, my windows were open during the night. Noise polution was too harsh for me.

The hosts were great and replied to questions really quickly. Our flight to Rome landed in early morning and our room was ready at 11, so we could do an earlier check-in. The room was very clean and the bed is comfy. We were given a list of recommended places for lunch and breakfast. We asked for an extra bed cover and there were no issues with providing it. The location of Amalia Suites is perfect — right next to the Ottaviano metro station, and we could see the entrance to Vatican from our window. I can totally recommend this place, smiling owners will greet you every morning!

Owner was amazing, helpful, responsive and always on top of everything for us. He was great with local advice, recommendations and just a super nice person. We cannot imagine a better place to stay near the Vatican, just two blocks or so and easily accessible to the subway as well. Just a fantastic time and will definitely come back next opportunity.

Cannot think of a single thing that needed improvement. My wife, daughter and I both enjoyed this place immensely.

The property is just 2min walk from the nearest Metro station, and 10min to St Peter’s. Most tourist attractions are within 30 min travel as Rome’s Metro is very handy and easy to use, but it can get very busy like other big cities. Our room was well maintained, clean and spacious. There are lots of restaurants and coffee shops in the area. We were on the 3rd floor and it was peaceful and homely for our four night stay. Most importantly, the owner is very helpful and friendly. He gave us good advice on where to eat and the best time to visit places. We had a lovely time and will certainly return to stay here again!

The accomodation is perfectly located close to Vatican and the subway station. The room is very clean with a modern bathroom. We very much appreciated easy and well described online check-in and entry because of our late flight. The lady was extremely kind and helpful. We also received some great tips for cafés, restaurants and shopping. We had a feeling that it is taken care of us. Thank you we could stay at your place.😊

Location is great, very vibrant area, close to metro and Vatican city. The host Franco was very nice, and greeted me with a smile, he also showed me what the best places to visit on the map and in what order to visit them. The room was clean with free welcoming water bottles, coffee and tea. There was also a safe and decent sized refrigerator in the room.

Window did not let fresh air in, it faced some of the other rooms in the building felt sometimes a tiny bit claustrophobic.

Small room but clean, has good basics to make your stay comfortable, location is just fantastic, very safe neighbourhood, plenty of grocery stores, cafes and restaurants all nearby, very close to the Ottaviano metro station and easily walkable to many sights. Host was very friendly, helpful and kind. I would definitely stay here again, thank you!

Nothing major but a shower rack would be great to put shampoo and other toiletries. Same as other racks near the sink for placing toiletries.

I highly recommended, the host are very nice, friendly and extremely helpful. Special thanks to Mrs Gianluca for the welcoming, information and every thing. Also to Mr Franco for the help and all the nice tips and information where to visit and the best time to go. The rooms are super clean and comfortable, definitely if I visit Rome again I will stay there. Few minutes by foot to the Vatican, also few metro stations to very centric areas (The metro and bus station are close to the guest house).

Very close to Vatican city, thank you to the owners who were friendly and available in the morning hours to receive the city tax which has to be paid by cash. Comfortable bed and clean rooms and bathrooms. Much appreciate that there was coffee that we could make which had Starbuck pods! :) Overall very smooth stay, great location, good building and comfortable rooms with high ceilings !

Although this is located on the main road, it is not bad when the windows are closed since the street noise cannot be heard when the windows are closed. We were there when it was cold but noticed there is also an airconditioning option so it shouldnt be a summer as well!

Everything was exceptional! The man at the reception (I wish we asked his name) was very attentive, friendly and super kind, from check-in to check-out. He helped us carry our luggage and even waved us goodbye at the elevator. The location is great, walking distance to the Vatican. Nothing to complain, we would definitely stay here if we visit Rome again in the future.
