Everything was perfect. Our check in/out was super easy. I already know Rome so I specifically booked our stay near Vatican because the area is super quiet, safe and easy to access. Our room was just in the photos. Clean sheets, comfortable beds. Bathroom and other amenities were fully functional and covered. The breakfast was self and relatively rich. You can enter the kitchen any time to prepare something for yourself. Coffee tea etc… even if you are hungry at night, the kitchen is available so i really liked this concept. The owners were super communicative and all the time supported us via chat. Aneta & Simone, thank you very much for everything!

Simone is a fantastic host, really friendly and helpful - our main reason for booking this particular hotel was that it’s tucked slightly away from the main tourist attractions but only 5 mins walk from the Vatican and just a few steps from the Metro - our room was really comfortable and kept clean every day - We were given lovely Croissants each morning for breakfast along with continental Breakfast if required - lots of great tucked away restaurants nearby and a perfect stay for us - couldn’t recommend highly enough! Perfecto!

Great location very close to Vatican City plus many restaurants near by, I like the old architecture of the building (entrance, lift, main door), fresh croissant every morning and self service breakfast, never seen a staff but communicate through message and it was helpful to answer all my questions plus local advices. Room was enough for 3 of us and beds were fine.

Hot water was an issue in the shower as pressure kept going down.

Location - Old Kitchen is the perfect B&B if you plan on visiting the Vatican and other sights in the area. It’s just steps away from the Metro and Bus stops and about a 5-minute walk to the Vatican Museums and St.Peters Basilica. The host was on hand when I arrived and explained how everything in the apartment worked. The apartment is on the fourth floor but there is an elevator. There are tons of great restaurants in the area as well as supermarkets and laundromats. Room - The room was quite large and comfortable with an open-storage rack, a television, a safe, two chairs and a small table. There were plug points near the bed (keep in mind that plugs in Italy sometimes differ from the rest of Europe so don’t forget to carry an adapter) The air-conditioning was exceptional. The bathroom was decent sized although the bath area was a bit cramped (but this is an issue all over Italy) Kitchen - The kitchen area is a common area for all guests at the B&B. There’s a fridge, a coffee machine, a kettle & toaster as well as breakfast cereal, tea, coffee, bread, milk, yoghurt and fruit. Fresh croissants are delivered every morning by the bakery nearby and they were delicious. There are also cups, plates and other tableware available for use. Wi-Fi was fast and consistent.

Quirky, friendly owners,great location to metro and walking to Vatican. Room was clean and bed comfy only negative for us was we knew the bathroom although private and beautifully clean and well equipped we did not realise it was not next to the room it was 50ft down a corridor pass 3 rooms maybe we missed in the small print but we would definitely stay again but check we had en-suite within the room.

The room and bathroom were clean, we had air conditioning (in the Rome heat it was extremely necessary), snacks available all day longs (the juices were amazingly tasty) and delicious croissants for breakfast. Good location - 10 min to Vatican by feet, and lots of bus stops nearby, very convenient. The owner was very-very nice, very pleasant and speaks English very well. Also, soundproofing was really good, we didn’t hear any noises from other rooms. I can definitely recommend this place ☺️

Excellent location, quiet and with easy access. Very close to the metro station. Walking distance to main attractions. Good breakfast with very tasty croissants. Good restaurants and cafes nearby. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are a good size, very clean and with access to all essentials.

I am familiar with the location and it is superb.Besides, breakfast is excellent, one can also decide when to have breakfast and the owner takes care of the fresh croissants.

perfect location to get to anywhere. very clean. has a kitchen which is fully equipped with tea/coffee making facilities along with fresh fruit, yogurts and the most delicious croissants for breakfast which are included in the price. rooms are cleaned daily. staff is just amazing. extremely helpful and polite.

we loved everything about the place. if I were to make a recommendation, I'd say perhaps adding a microwave to the kitchen as we had left over food almost daily but couldn't heat it up.

Very nice host, fridge always full-good when you have a small hungry child at 07.00 in the morning, clean and didn’t hear the noise from outside. Good options for going to the center, near bus and metro stations.

Some slippers could be usefull, especially in the colder seasons.
