Wow! I was so impressed by the Best Vatican. Way beyond what I was expecting. From the free mini bar to the sumptuous breakfast with hot options delivered on a trolley to your room each morning (I see what other guests mean when they say you get enough food from breakfast and lunch you really get such a great choice) it was truly a perfect stay! The electronic check in worked very well and the location is ideal as the Vatican is only a few minutes away and the rest of the city is easily accessible from the nearby Ottaviano metro station.

A great location, 2 roads away from the main street in Rome where we had access to the metro and bus stops. Excellent breakfast in the room, a large variety of food that meant we didn't need to have lunch as it kept us going till our evening meal. Extremely comfortable bed and pillows, all towels refreshed everyday and the ladies who delivered the breakfast and cleaned the rooms were so lovely and helpful.

This b & b is exceptional! Located in a great area so easy to get around and see all the attractions. We bought a 4 day travel pass at central station for 18 euro and used the buses and metros all the time to get around. The rooms are immaculate and the bed was soooo comfortable. The bathrooms were well equipped and clean and toiletries provided. The breakfast is delivered to your room at a time convenient to yourself and you leave your chosen menu on your door the night before. Breakfast is excellent includes bacon eggs (scrambled or soft boiled) cereals, fruit, yoghurt, toast and an array of pastries tea coffees or juice It is a lovely way to enjoy your breakfast without being rushed. Staff are superb and when I return to Rome I would most definitely stay here

Great location, check in instructions were very clear. Room was on the smaller size but it was enough for 2 people. The breakfast was delicious - lots of options (croissants, other pastries, toast, yoghurt, plus you can order eggs and coffee). Staff member was very nice. The building has an elevator which made it easier to travel with large suitcases

Rooms aren’t very soundproof, during our visit there were guests in one of the other rooms talking quite loudly until after midnight which we could hear quite loudly in our room.

The location is very good, making it easy to explore nearby attractions and restaurants. Communication with the staff was excellent; they were responsive and helpful, ensuring a comfortable stay. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options to start the day off right.

The shower had a leak, which likely contributed to a musty smell in the bathroom. While it wasn't a major issue, the night tables next to the bed were a bit dusty. In addition, very personal thing - if you have back problems, you might find the bed too soft for your liking.

The staff at Best Vatican are top notch. I found my room to be very clean, perfectly sized, and a nice escape from the busy parts of Rome. Breakfast is really tasty. It’s ideally located near the metro, and within walking distance (roughly 30 minutes) to the historical center. I’m NYer, so I walked everywhere without issue. If they don’t have availability at this location, they have two others in the city as well.

Mrs. Nicoleta was really wonderful. She made us welcome while she completed making our room ready as we had arrived early. The included breakfast was also wonderful. Hot bacon and scrambled eggs with an incredible assortment of breads, fruits, cereals, yogurts, and a nice cappuccino. The room was large and the included beverages in the mini bar were a nice touch. The walk in shower was great. And the full access to American NetFlix was greatly appreciated. We would certainly stay here again and encourage others to give it a try.

A REALLY tiny elevator.

The room, while small, was very well appointed and we had everything we needed. The team was lovely. And breakfast was exceptional - brought to your room at a time of your choosing, eggs were cooked fresh and there was so much choice of continental items (much better than buffets we’d had elsewhere).

The bed was on the smaller side (probably only a double) but this didn’t bother us.

We stayed 2 nights from March 28-March 30, 2025. The property is a 10-min walk to St. Peter’s Basilica & a short distance to a Metro. The breakfast is very good. They gave us many things on the cart. We chose to pick boiled eggs or scramble eggs, cappuccino or expresso. Fruits, pastries, cereals on the cart. Elena was very helpful & professional. We enjoyed staying there.

First of all, the entrance and exit to the hotel is very comfortable. It is also very good in terms of location. It is in a very decent neighborhood on the Vatican side. There are many nice restaurants and markets next to it. The lady working was always friendly to us. Their breakfast is very successful. In terms of the facilities in the room, it was our best experience in Italy. There were waters, fruit juices. We were very satisfied.

Everything was good.
