The location is fantastic. Very central and enables you to walk everywhere in the historic centre. The balcony was also an added bonus. Being on a busy junction, with all the noise and sights that entails, you really feel in the heart of Rome. I loved it. Good and friendly communication with the owner made this a hassle free experience. There’s also a daily housekeeping service should you require it.

Not much! Things to consider for some people is that this is basically an apartment split into two. You access through a shared corridor. So the spaces are small, the soundproofing isn’t great in these old buildings and you are in a noisy, lively part of town. For me, that’s why I was there and I knew what I was going to. But it may be an issue for light sleepers who are less prepared. I’ve seen some complaints in other reviews about the shower size etc but as a big guy I found it more than adequate. Everything is compact for sure and storage space is a bit limited. It’s basically a characterful hotel room in a great part of town. If you go in with that mindset, it’ll provide a fantastic base for a short stay in Rome.

The location was a lovely guestroom with a nice view from the balkony over the streets of Rome. The room we got was exactly as on the pictures so we really got what we expected. It's an old building but in good condition and the rooms have Charme. Thankfully there was an elevator as well. The facility offered a nice room even with an iron and a sink to be used. The WhatsApp service I needed one time was very kind and answered fast. Good experience and I would surely recommend it!

The only thing I didn't like was the mattress. There were two spots with a huge dip.

All was perfect organized by the Golden Rooms-Team. The communication was great, the self check-in was easy and our Deluxe room was bigger than expected. Especially we were amazed from the view from the little balcony. We really enjoyed this big room (which is rare in Rome) and the high ceiling. The new windows kept the noise from the street away, awesome. The bathroom was modern and well equipped. We want to mention also the cleaning lady, she was such a lovely woman and we could put our baggage in the storage until 5pm. We are happy. And you can be lucky if you can catch this room too :-)

It is great location just few meters away from the spanish steps. Our room had a street view with a small but cute balcony.

It is clean but not with the highest standards. The only problem was the bed. It was making noises all the time even when you turn a side when you sleep.

Had a slight issue in gaining access, blown fuse, but staff were superhelpful. The view from the balcony was amazing! the intersection below was the most incredible - you have to see it to believe it. This is the best location. walk up the street to the Spanish Steps... OR walk down the street to the Trevi Fountain! If you wake up from jet lag at some odd time 3am... go for a walk... these 2 gems are only round the corner.. Use apple maps for the bus routes and you can go anywhere... and to get to the train station its only 25 minute walk past some amazing building and fantastic bakeries

We felt really safe in the apartment, because of the double doors with necessary code to enter. The location is really good, literally like 3 minutes walking to Spanish Steps and just 20 minutes to Colosseum. We also loved the view from the balcony!!

The walls must be really thin, because we heard people in the room next to us.

Excellent location, close to city attractions, small grocery stores right below the apartment, close to breakfast restaurants, Beautifully decorated apartment, adorable little balcony, comfortable beds, it is very practical that you have a fridge in the room. Friendly hosts who allowed us to safely store our luggage even outside the time of the cruise - until departure for the flight

The room was cozy and nice for one person overall, the balcony was great

When having people in the next room, you can hear everything, also I found it a bit scary that the balcony is shared between those 2 rooms. The shower was small and didn't work well

Ilaria was a great communicator from the start!. The location was very close to many things, including the Spanish steps, which were just 2 blocks away! It does require a couple blocks of inclined walking to get back there from the main road, Via Tritone, which might be a challenge to less fit or mobile guests. We had a balcony, which would have been fun to spend a little time on, had the weather cooperated. Nonetheless, it was fun to look up and down the streets from up there. The room was comfortable! Lots of mirrors and outlets. It also had a small fridge with a couple of bottles of water. The bath towels seemed new and were a nice size, but they did put off a lot of lint(hence the idea they may be new).

There isn't really anything we didn't like, per say. More like room for improvement. The bed was comfortable enough, but the bottom sheet kept coming loose, like maybe it wasn't big enough for the bed. Not sure if fitted bottom sheets are not used here but that was frustrating and there was no mattress cover, which I found a little unnerving for a hotel mattress. It would also be nice to have at least 2 more pillows on the bed. One pillow each isn't enough.

Perfect location!!! The Trevi fountain, the Pantheon, and the colosseum were all in walking distance. Plenty of eateries. Room had everything we needed. Nice views. I stayed right in front of the Trevi fountain last time, and I would never do that again, it was loud all night. Here, you were close enough to walk, but far away enough to have peace at night! It’s also next to a designer shopping mall! Nice working a/c too.
