The room had a lovely little terrace which was nice to relax after a busy day seeing sights in Rome. Andrea who greeted me was very helpful in dealing with a few questions and arranging my shuttle. The bed was super comfortable and the room was clean. It was very walkable to most main attractions in Rome. There is a convenience store half a block away which is great for picking up refreshments on the way back to the room.

You may hear people leaving early for the airport as it is all tile in the hallways. The entrance is also in a side alley rather than one of the more main streets but I never felt unsafe because of this.

Great service from the reception staff. Kevin provided very detailed and organized information about directions and services provided by them, it was super useful as I was able to follow the directions and make decisions very quickly according to the circumstances of my trip. I was able to communicate not only in English but also in Spanish with the other receptionist. She was also very kind and helpful. It's always heartwarming to encounter people from Latin America in service, as the warmth and kindness really shows and makes the difference.

All was good but I noticed that the walls are not soundproof. I was able to hear the people in the adjacent room. Thankfully they weren't loud and I barely noticed them.

We enjoyed our time at excellence suites and would recommend to anyone staying in Rome for a couple days. Clean rooms, working air conditioner, great location. Within walking distance to many attractions such as the Spanish steps, Trevi fountain, as well as many cafes and shops. Plus it was tucked away making it not too noisey at night. However the best part of our stay was the lovely receptionist Kevin. He was so so accomodating to us. No matter our issue he offered us his time and understanding. Helped us with our luggage upon arrival and departure, ordered taxis for us, made many recommendations as first time tourists. His kindness and hospitality made our trip so much more enjoyable.

Centrally located and controlled as easy to get to different places of interest. Metro station is just 3 minutes away and it is 2 stops to the termini station. The sam metro line goes up to the Vatican.

The staff would come in only by 9 Am and stay till 6.30 PM. If you come before or after that time you might have to call the hotel staff. No complaints though because we had similar experiences in other places as well.

Location and cleanliness of the room. Friendly staff and fast response to my questions and concerns (by Kevin) which i really appreciated.

Clean, modern bathroom fixtures. Large room by Rome standards. Located in quiet street but close by shops, bars, transit. Friendly and helpful staff reachable by Whatsapp. Small lift (but at least there is one!). Booked airport transfer to/from hotel through the property which was very convenient (paid altogether with hotel invoice).

Very detailed instructions but can be overwhelming/confusing to access if your arrival time is after the front desk closes. Pay attention to the street number (#38 by hotel address but instructions said #35) if you're arriving late at night.

The only problem we had was that the elevator wasn’t working. I have problems with my knees and had to use the stsirs( alot of them). They did try to find us another room, but none were available. They were very nice!

Very convenient to walk to everything. 30 min walk to colosseum 10 min to Spanish steps and T fountain. upon arrival was expecting to see a hotel sign so when the taxi dropped us off on the narrow street was a little concerned we were not in the right place. The name is very small on the outside and doesn’t look like a hotel from the outside. that was my only concern. on website should have a picture of the outside doors and building. once that panic ended we were very Happy with our room. bed and pillows very comfortable and that is the most important part for me. Price for the room was excellent. clean room. was a bit small for the amount of luggage we had but i know they had bigger suits that looked absolutely wonderful. next time would book one of those. would definitely stay here again.

if we had the window open at night street was a bit noisy but that would happen anywhere. just closed the window and was quite.

Clean, comfortable and great location

The shower was very bad. One shower head had such lack of pressure you could barely tell it was turned on and most of the holes for the water were blocked so it sprayed a mist in all directions. The rainfall shower head had good pressure but only came through a few holes as they were so severely blocked with limescale. This was disappointing but we did not complain and just decided to use the sink to wash as we only stayed a short while.

The location is very good. The room was really nice. We were pleasantly surprised. Staff friendly. Cute little elevator which is great if you have a heavy suitcase.

This is not a complaint, just a comment. If you take the subway to this destination, the stop is close but uphill. If you have large suitcases you may want to take a taxi from the train station so they take you to the door. If you have a small suitcase then you can walk easily.
