The Location is great because it’s a bit far away from all the noisy centers especially at night. Staff was so nice Especially Mattia at the Reception, gave us such great service and being friendly and helpful with every help i needed. Also, i super recommend the breakfast at this hotel, it is clean, delicious and the view at the rooftop will make your day but also the Woman that is running the breakfast her name is Laura and she also made our stay very pleasant and was so kind and professional and so warm. I love this Hotel and will love to go back there.

The hotel is in a beautiful location; near the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and Borghese Museum. There are lots of good/very good restaurants. Shopping is very good….there are bargains if you look for them. The Barberini Hotel rooms are not overly large but they are comfortable. The shower works well and there is hot water. The WiFi was good. If the A/C is not on in your room, just ask the front desk to turn on your room thermostat. The staff at this are VERY nice. Breakfast cost 18 Euros and there is a good selection of eggs, meat, fruit, yogurt, pastries and coffee. They make a very good cappucino. The hotel restaurant is on the top floor (6) and has inside seating plus a few outdoor tables. There is a great view for photographs outside the restaurant. The price per room was reasonable.

The A/C in our room was having issues but the problem was resolved.

Staff were great, especially the lovely lady running breakfast. Breakfast itself was great, you can request a freshly cooked scrambled egg/fried egg/omelette as well as generous continental buffet. Room was good size, and you didn't hear much noise from outside despite being near a busyish road. Good location short walk from the metro (although watch out, you will almost certainly get robbed on the metro.)

Bathroom was slightly dated and shower leaked, and you could hear noise from inside the hotel through the door. Overall though the hotel was great.

Staff were friendly and helpful, calling a taxi for us on request. Location was amazing, within walking distance to main attractions but away from all the noise. The room was large as well as the bathroom. Was able to cast netflix from our phones to the TV which is always great in a hotel.

The shower leaked at the bottom which created a huge puddle everytime we showered. The street noise would occasionally enter the room as we were on a low floor but wasn't too much of an issue. The aircon must have been controlled by staff as our control dock didnt seem to adjust the temp at all so at times would be a bit too warm even though it was freezing outside in winter. Despite these issues we still really enjoyed our stay.

We were delighted to discover the rooftop breakfast room / cocktail bar with extraordinary views over Rome. Fortunately the breakfast waitress Laura, every morning in the same rooftop space was the best, most attentive waitress. We very much appreciated her professionalism and breakfast served by Laura set us for some great days in Rome.

My overall impression was that the staff were somehow indifferent, which seemed at odds with the wonderful amenities and location. On the second evening we had expressed our misgivings to the front desk about the music in the bar, but when that night we were met by AC/DC at full volume, it required that we request of the barman / dj some more neutral, jazz music. He seemed to take exception, but played some Kenny G. to “placate or punish” us. When he corrected our pronunciation of bruschetta he instructed us to “repeat after me..” This was not conducive to a relaxing drink and dinner and we did not return to the bar.

Very nice hotel near metro station. Just a short walk to trevi fountain, pantheon, Spanish steps etc. I chose this hotel primarily because of it's close proximity to a metro station and I'm so glad I did. We loved it! It's beautiful inside.... very clean, modern and quiet. Our walk in shower was so much nicer than the tub shower combinations in most hotels. The bed was very comfortable, the ac worked, the lighting was great, the hair dryer actually got hot and we had a beautiful view of the art museum across the street. Our room was the "standard double"..... not huge but larger than most of our other hotel rooms in Italy. It was large enough that we didn't feel cramped. The view from the rooftop dining area was just beautiful. Breakfast is part self-service and part cooked to order... really good. Our breakfast server was wonderful and remembered our preferences after 1 day. We had drinks and a light dinner in the rooftop bar one night and that was very good as well. I would highly recommend this hotel and we'll certainly stay there again when we visit Rome again.

I can't think of one thing to complain about.... really a great choice in Rome.

The property was bedecked with Xmas trees with a lovely rooftop terrace. The rooms were spotless and although smallish I think about normal for a European city. The breakfast was nice bacon and bit over crispy but I’m sure they would have done differently if I had requested but the sausages were amazing. Laura was lovely nothing too much trouble and always ready with a smile. There was a good choice and the only thing I would have liked is plain croissants but every other type of cake. Fruit bread yoghurt. Man in the evening also very lovely. I read some of the reviews and nearly cancelled but very glad I didn’t thank you for a lovely stay

It was as the top of a steep road more to do with my fitness than a fault with the hotel

I had a room on the third floor which was quiet, clean, conveniently appointed, elegant, and very comfortable. The size was not large, but perfectly functional and very inviting. The pillows and comforter were just right for my preferences - soft, not-too-thick pillows, lightweight comforter. The window could open and it was lovely to look out onto Palazzo Barberini and air the room for a few hours. The service was impeccable. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and responded to all my questions.

There was only one chair in the room and only one suitcase stand, but when two people are staying in one room you'd need two of each.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, which looks new and clean, located 5 minutes from the center . Very kind staff who helped us with everything we needed. The breakfast was very good, and we should mention the head waitress Lara who has been working there for 20 years, and is simply amazing in her attitude towards the guest. The room we took was excellent for 4 people, clean and modern. The mattress was a bit dated. In short, we highly recommend the hotel! Very worth it!

A well-run, distinctive hotel. Centrally located, 2 minutes from Barberini metro station, 7 minutes from Trevi Fountain, many good restaurants within walking distance. Excellent roof terrace with a great view as far as St Peter's Basilica, attentive service, good Italian breakfast. You felt private.

Street noise only acceptable with the window closed, unfortunately no air conditioning in the room in April. Rome is noisy elsewhere too, and at night the rubbish collection service comes as usual.
