Unbeatable Price, Location and Service! You will not find a more affordable hotel in Rome! The location is also unbeatable, you're literally a 5 min walk to the Trevi Fountain and a generally great part of Rome. It's a safe neighborhood with a lot of restaurants, shopping, etc. The room is great, decent size, clean and not too old feeling. The beds are not very comfortable but that's the only negative I have. Staff is WONDERFUL! So incredibly friendly, helpful, and go out of there way for guests. My first night, the toilet broke and they took care of fixing it asap and made me feel at ease. I loved my time at Hotel Julia and would highly recommend staying here!

Hotel Julia was a fantastic choice for us on a romantic getaway from the UK - our first visit to Rome. The hotel was an ideal, central location for exploring the city, with the Trevi Fountain a slow 10 minutes walk away - we visited 4 times in 3 days! - as well as central for the Colosseum and The Pantheon and an English pub just around the corner!. We did not use any of the other hotel facilities such as meals and bar during our stay so not able to comment on that but found our room to have a comfortable bed, good shower and quiet location, although no great views of the city - just a balcony. The staff were very friendly and helpful and sorted a taxi to the airport within 5 minutes on our departure. Overall, for a city centre location this was great value for money and ideal for popping in and out of whilst sight-seeing and central for eating out and soaking in the Rome experience - we are looking to take the kids back next time to let them see the delights of the city and will try to book the Hotel Julia as an ideal base. Thanks guys.

Perhaps a few recommendations from staff about local restaurants would have been nice (just some info in the room) but there was plenty of choice once we ventured out.

The stuff was excellent! Everyone was very polite, helpful and available. The room was nice and very clean. The location was everything!

A classic old style hotel but if it could undergo a renovation it would be a gem! The bathroom needs a renovation and was a little bit smaller than needed to be and the shower apart from the stable head should have another way to spray water…

Amazing location, 5 min walk or less from a supermarket, and very convenient to get to all of the major locations. Air con in the room was decent and was a lifesaver, staff were completely lovely and helpful the whole time. Bathroom facilities were good, and room was cleaned each day by room service. Building was pretty as well, felt rather 'Romey'. Lot's of dinner places nearby and drinks as well, so that's not difficult to access.

Breakfast was limited, only had mini pastries and ok coffee, so didn't end up eating in hotel, not an issue as there were many places, but good to note there is no buffet etc. Wifi was dodgy most nights, but had seen this in other reviews so just coped on mobile data. Was relatively expensive for what it was, but had a nice time so for the facilities that there is, it is nice.

The hotel is in a great central location, tucked away on a surprisingly quiet side street, yet within easy walking distance of all the major attractions. We appreciated the fresh towels every day and that the bed was made daily. The reception is staffed for most of the day, which was convenient. Overall, we would consider staying here again.

Our room, particularly the bathroom, felt in need of a little refresh. However, considering you're here to explore the city, not for luxury hotel amenities, it was sufficient for our stay.

Hotel Julia has an excellent location. We travelled there by train and it is only 15-20 mins by foot from Termini train station. Or it is also possible to take the metro, which is more convenient. The Fontana di Trevi is super close and there are very nice cafes and restaurants around. The staff was very nice and the communication with the hotel was good. Our room was very clean and tidy and it faced the main street. It was a bit noisy perhaps till 11 pm - midnight, but in general, it is not a super busy area of Rome. We had a good night of sleep. We enjoyed our stay and we would recommend this place.

Great value for the money. Pretty central location to all.

Not able to use WiFi in my room. Front desk advised me of it. When you travel I like to plan my activities or route for the day. WiFi worked in lobby area fast and fine. It’s nice to wrap up your day sending pics texts etc from your room.That was my only complaint.

Very friendly staff, clean, comfortable room, GREAT location. Not great pressure/shower head. But it did the job. AC in the room was great. It was great for a solo person that just wants a no frill place for sightseeeing.

Internet didn’t work in the rooms, that was kinda inconvenient. I got a room with a shared shower, which I knew when booking, but it was slightly annoying. But whatever. I booked it to save $$

Great location. Very central area and away from the crowds! 5 minutes walk to the Trevi fountain and close to the Spanish steps, many restaurants and cafes. Only five minutes walk to the local busses and trains which we loved. The rooms are old but kept clean and spacious. We found this location very convenient and recommend it if you want somewhere not too Loud!

Some connection issues in the building, we had to keep re-connecting to the wifi every day. Not a big deal though

Location is superb, close to the Trevi Fountain/ Barbarini and walkable from Termini. From the upper floor there is a nice view of the trees in the Quirenel Palace gardens. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was quiet and spacious enough for a family of 4. Local restaurant choice was very good.

There is a bar, but on the occasions we tried to get a drink no staff were about.
