Great stay; good size room and furnishings; breakfast cold buffet all grand. Good value nearby eating places clearly popular with locals too. All was great. It’s about 15 minute walk to the nearest metro station but that was known and no problem to us. We like to walk anyway.

The location wasn't too close to tourist attractions so you could have a quiet stay in a vibrant city. Only 20 mins away from the main train station by bus and you can walk to the main ancient archaeological sites within half an hour. The breakfast was decent with pastries, cold meats, bread, spreads and fruit. They also had gluten free bread! The wardrobe space is good too so you can unpack some bits if you're staying for a while.

Don't expect the breakfast to change throughout your stay, but it's still a decent spread. The hotel room could've been cleaner - the carpet needed a steam wash. Our shower door had broken but was temporarily fixable. It did seem like it'd been broken for a while though but we discussed with reception and they agreed the most important part during our stay was that the shower could close. The shower itself was small and tbe showerhead didn't fit in the holder so couldn't have a hands-free wash. Our bathroom window was also cemented with no fan in there 🤷🏻‍♀️

The room was really good and had everything we needed. The sheets and towels were replaced daily. The receptionist helped us at to check in a bit earlier and gave us some helpful information. The hotel also has a big parking space which I didn't use. There is a bus station less than 5 minutes away, and the nearest underground station is about 15-20 walk if you don't want to take a bus to there. Compared to the prices of other hotels this one was really worth it in my opinion.

Nothing negative about the hotel. It is a shame though that the nearby area is so dirty (not the hotel's fault of course).

Honestly, I cannot speak highly enough about Hotel Cilicia. I was forced to stay in a hotel during our Rome trip because of an unfortunate turn of events and ended up being here without any hopes. The whole staff including the manager was so kind and patient and helpful for us and supporting us in that hard situation it is truly brings tears into my eyes. They made our site enjoyable, we felt cares for, they provided all the help for me and my baby to resolve our issues, day and night they were there for us. This level of kindness I have never ever experienced in my long years of traveling, it was more than that even. They did not treat us as guests, but more like family and friends. I thanked them in person multiple times but I would like to thank them here too, thank you from the bottom of my heart for saving our trip and being amazing human beings and providing me with a hotel stay which I believe will be a once in a lifetime situation.

I am not gonna lie, this is not the fanciest hotel with the best facilities, so if you are into those things more, you probably won’t be that satisfied. HOWEVER, if you care for the human element of an accomodation with the most professional, kind and helpful attitude, THIS is your place to be in Rome.

Location wasn't too far and easily reachable by bus. Old hotel with kind of haunted vibes but we really loved it. Rooms were super comfortable, and cleaning service was fantastic. Check in was a bit long as a movie was getting filmed there when we arrived, so not so common issue! Staff were friendly and helpful.

Bathroom shower needs a bit of a proper clean to get rid of the mould. Air conditioner couldn't be changed, always stayed same temperature which could get a little cold, still good to return to after the roman heat!

30min walk from the coleseum and lots of restaurants in the area. continental breakfast had a good selection including pastries, ham and cheese and boiled eggs. room was a good size and staff were helpful. good value for money

the bathroom was a little dated and shower small. no kettle, tea and coffee in the room. An iron was available for use but the ironing board was impossibly small to use

I booked this hotel for my parents. Their stay was lovely! The hotel has a green area that they enjoyed while resting from the hussle of the city. The place is very well connected to Roma Termini, only one bus away! And 1-2 buses away from all the main attractions. My parents are used to public transport and they were pleased.

The room was very clean and spacious enough. Very comfortable beds. Air conditioning proved to be life-saving in this hot weather:) Big bathroom is definitely a plus. Very quiet place. The staff is professional and really helpful.

Well, the shower was tiny and water in washbasin was going down very, very slowly. But in spite of that, if I went to Rome once again I would choose this hotel anyway.

The interior of the hotel is beautiful, as are the grounds. The location is perfect, considering that you can reach the city center very quickly. Towels are changed regularly.

The best time for breakfast is from 7 to half past 8, when there is the most food. When we ate later, it happened that we were waiting for some part of the buffet table to be replenished, for new plates to be brought, because it happened that there were no more of them.

The staff was very polite and friendly, always willing to respond and help. The room was very clean and warm. Location is very good, near the bus station ( 10 min walk). You could reach Colosseum very easily in 30 min walking.

It was very basic, like if you needed some accesories, like slippers to walk around the room, or other neccesities for the bathroom, you could not find in the room
