The location was great. It was a 5 minute walk from the train station with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The bed was so comfortable. It was the best sleep I had in a long time. The room was small but it had everything needed including MANY hangers in the closet. The shower pressure was perfect. Housekeeping provided fresh towels and replenished room amenities on a daily basis. Our room was freshened up every day. The AC worked well continuously and there are lots of electric and USB outlets in the room. There is a nice terrace for breakfast and from 5 to 8 you can purchase cocktails. Free Wifi worked well all the time we were there.

The juices at breakfast were too sweet and not the healthy options. Most hotels in Italy offer freshly squeezed orange juice but this one didn't. The food selection was good but it lacked appeal. I felt that the lady operating the breakfast service could use more help. She prepared the spread, made and served coffees, cleared tables and replenished water and food. Although she was extremely efficient, it was hard for her to keep up with the number of people she was serving. No free water bottles in the rooms.

The hotel was very clean, and the staff were very friendly. Rooms were comfortable and they were very accommodating on any special requests when booking the rooms. When my family and I arrived at the hotel to check in, we were provided with a walking map of the city - extremely helpful! They also provided us a helpful tip on how to avoid pickpockets. The night before we flew back to the United States, the hotel receptionist arranged a cab/shuttle for the six of us (at a lower price than what the cab would have charged if we booked them directly). Since we were flying out early, they also arranged for us to have an early breakfast - which by the way, was very good. I highly recommend Hotel Columbia.

The hotel had great staff. They helped us call a taxi, offered recommendations, and were flexible with service of the room. It was a good size room for a European hotel. The rooftop patio was great for breakfast or grabbing a drink in the evening - the staff here again were amazing. The area was central to much of what Rome has to offer and was affordable.

There was very little to complain about. The room was slightly outdated and the tub was a bit odd shape. The location is central but not really close to major sites, but certainly walking distance to most major attractions. It was a bit loud but again, this is true for anyplace in central Rome.

-The staff, especially woman who checked us in, was the literal meaning of customer service. So nice and helpful. -Short walking distance to everywhere so big plus for location. -Breakfast wasnt perfect but it got the job done. Cappucino on a rooftop terrace is a good way to start a day. Also staff at breakfast were friendly. -Room was quiet

Shower was from ancient rome. Also bed was hard as a gladiator.

For us the location was perfect: within walking distance of the Termini train station, a good walk down to Roman Forum and Palatine Hill, and close too Hop On Hop Off bus pick-up point. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and cheerful. The breakfast was good and we loved the decor and ambience of the breakfast room/ restaurant/ terrace. Our room of adequate size had a well stocked fridge.

Hotel Columbia is our home in Rome. Super hotel close to Terminai Station but not too close. Many restaurants close by. Very nice rooms with nice bathrooms. Air conditioning in the hotel was super even when it was 40 degrees outside. Nice breakfast is served on the rooftop terrace but can also be eaten in the air conditioned dinning room. The ladies on the reception desk were very polite, informative and helpful.

Great location near the central station and surrounded by cafes and restaurants. It is within walking distance to many of the sights. The hotel is an old world style so the rooms are not large, the bathroom is a good size and well fitted and very clean. The guest lounge and rooftop terrace are a bonus. Breakfast was plentiful with a limited selection of hot and a very good selection of cold foods. The staff were attentive and helpful. Good value if you book early.

It was very hot when we stayed and the air conditioning struggled to keep up. The TV controls were a struggle so we gave up.

The breakfast was excellent and the staff was incredible! They worked so hard!!!
