My first time in Rome and I made the best decision by staying at Hotel Isa! Location of the hotel is perfect, you can walk everywhere (most of the major sites, restaurants, bars, cafes) in 10 to 15 minutes. The longest walk (40 ish mins) is the Colloseum which you can also take public bus to get there as a cheap and faster alternative. This is one of THE CLEANEST hotel I stayed; the towels, beds, bathroom etc. It is very clean! I mean the towels does not have the distinct hotel towel smell, if you are sensitive about the cleanliness Isa is your hotel. The staff is awesome, thay smile and make you confortable all time!! We didnt event use Google for most of the things. We just asked to reception and they helped us a lot during our stay. Jose the breakfast man on the rooftop is the best in the morning :) We visited Rome in July and it was hot! Around 33-35 degree C (91-92 F for Americans) and we were walking around 20 km (13 ish miles again for Americans) everyday, you can imagine how heated we were at the end of the day. They have perfectly working AC!!! Which is a gift in Rome! We picked the small room with twin beds (16 m/sq) and it is not that small, for 2 friends it was more than enough and we also had a small cute balcony to rest after a long days walk. We spent 7 nights at Isa by the way. The breakfast is good enought to keep you going untill midday. Will I ever come back to Rome: Yes. Will I stay at Hotel Isa again: 100%!!

Very helpful and friendly staff. The Hotel Isa was very clean and well designed. Good local restaurants very near buy with reasonable prices. Breakfast is good and the bar has lovely views out to the Vatican. The hotel is just out of the centre, about a five or so minute walk into the central area. I preferred this, as I went in Easter and there were a lot of tourists and visitors for the funeral of Pope Francis. Shuttle bus to the airport goes from a few minutes away and saves having to go to get to the very busy train station.

Some signs of wear and tear in the room, but not in anyway enough to cause a problem.

The hotel staff is very helpful, the rooms are tastefully decorated, well air-conditioned, a bit small but for Rome that's standard. The location is great, lots of truly excellent restaurants all around. They have a beautiful terrace on the sixth floor where they serve cocktails in the evening with a view of the St Peter's basilica. Their breakfast is a masterpiece - by far the best of any hotel we stayed at in Italy.

Nothing really! I guess the signage for the hotel is a bit hard to make out if you've never been.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Rome. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully designed. The breakfast bar offered a great selection of delicious food, and the rooftop bar was a real highlight — tastefully designed, it felt like sitting in an outdoor garden with stunning views over the city. A truly memorable experience!

The only downside was the internet connection — it was quite unreliable and kept cutting out during use.

Breakfast on the rooftop was so lovely. Beautiful view in general, but especially interesting that you can see the top of la Basilica de San Pedro. We also went to the rooftop bar one night and it was lovely.

I have no complaints! We enjoyed that Hotel Isa was not in the center of the main action of Rome, and were still able to walk to all of the major sites like the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum. They were long walks, but a pleasant way to see the city.

We enjoyed our stay a lot! A breakfast was great and there was a large selection of food. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was good. The rooms were spacious. The view from the breakfast was very nice (St Peter's Basilica etc) - and from the roof terrace, too, of course, One of the rooms was available already before noon which was great due to our morning flight to Rome.

We had two rooms, especially the other one was a bit too hot and we were not able to set the temperature.

Beautifully situated in a lovely neighborhood. The room was beautiful overlooking a court yard and it has a lovely rooftop restaurant with a view of the Vatican. It couldn’t have been more perfect! There is a lovely lobby with beautiful art books.

It was perfect. We had the deluxe room, and it was very spacious.

The room was spacious. There were bath robe and slippers available. Good humidity control in the toilet. It was possible to open the windows for some fresh air. Breakfast was excellent buffet with omelettes and special coffees. Nice roof terrace and view over the city. Friendly staff.

We booked a room with twin beds, but there was no availability, so we shared a big bed. Somewhat challenges with the duvets and sheets but we managed.

The breakfast was above and beyond, the BEST breakfast I have ever had at a hotel. I can't believe it was complimentary. I dream about going back and having that food again. The hotel itself is very classically decorated and tasteful.

This is the case with a lot of places in Rome, but the air conditioning in the room was very poor. It was tough to sleep some nights because of how hot it got. Other than that, the hotel was a perfect 10.

We always stay here when in Rome. This boutique hotel with its roof top terrace is an incredible way to start your day as well as fabulous haven to relax at the end of a hectic day The staff in the hotel are the most helpful dedicated people one can find. Case in point, we left some of my wife’s jewelry in the room and left on to our next destination. Arriving there we realized our error, contacting the hotel they went out of their way to find the lost items. Having found them in the room they reached out to us with the news. Shortly after arriving home my wife was overjoyed to be reunited with her jewelry We have recommended this hotel for years and will keep doing so.
