I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Martius Private Suites in Rome! The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the city, just a short walk from the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and other iconic landmarks, making it ideal for exploring on foot. The room amenities exceeded expectations—beautifully decorated with a blend of classic elegance and modern comfort. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the suite was equipped with everything needed for a luxurious stay, including a well-stocked minibar, high-quality toiletries, and excellent climate control. Cleanliness was top-notch—the room and bathroom were spotless, and housekeeping maintained the highest standards throughout my stay. The staff was warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist with recommendations or requests. Overall, a perfect boutique hotel experience in Rome. I would definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for luxury, comfort, and convenience!

The only thing my wife missed was a full-size mirror in the room, which would have been a great addition to an otherwise perfect setup.

A beautiful and luxurious experience in a fun and bustling part of Rome. The entrance is not obvious, it’s rather hidden because you have to ring in at one of this ominous doors, but I enjoyed it because it is part of the private, luxury, and safe experience. The room was great with a comfortable bed and unique decor and architecture. The staff was great and I enjoyed the addition of a bar on site. It was my second time in Rome for this particular trip and I definitely preferred the location of this hotel. It was right by the famous sites and the best restaurants, as well as some cute and unique shopping experiences that I enjoyed. Overall the area was so lively.

The design of the property and particularly of the presidential suite with spa is stunning. Gorgeous combination of the heritage of the building and high class modern touches. Location perfect to walk nearly everywhere in the city center, plenty of restaurants and bars, lovely breakfast salon and presentation of table served breakfast. Everybody in the staff super nice.

It definitely doesn’t bring this property down, but indeed the access into the building is by far not as nice as the property itself, the complimentary breakfast items are plentiful, but exclusively on the sweet side (but with the option of chargeable additional savory items and the eggs were lovely) and the lovely shower in our lovely suite leaks awfully all over the floor:(

The location was ideal just a few yards from the Pantheon The room was nice and the bed linen etc were all of a very high standard The breakfast was very grand, possibly almost a bit over the top! The staff were great

We had issues with the heating/cooling which malfunctioned throughout our 6-day stay and which they were unable to get fixed while we were there so it was very hot all the time (despite being February). We had to keep opening the windows but then it was very noisy instead owing to the central location. So we dyy it didn’t sleep well - despite the room being lovely. The plumbing was a bit wonky but worked as well as anything else in Italy during our stay I thought it was pretty expensive (especially once the city tax was added) but I guess Italy IS expensive nowadays and the location was very good

The location, the decor, the spacious rooms and the lovely staff from the front desk to the barman to the super-efficient and friendly housekeeping team.

We liked everything.

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights for our birthdays and highly recommend this for a boutique hotel with personal service and an unbeatable location. Less than 5 minutes from The Pantheon and less than 10 from the Trevi fountain, we walked everywhere and loved it. On arrival we received a free room upgrade which was a beautiful room, super high ceilings and immaculately clean. Housekeeping was 2nd to none, with the bed fully made, room tied and fresh towels twice a day. The breakfast was basic Italian but absolutely fine with an opportunity to go a la carte which we didn’t want. I asked for firmer pillows and got them straight away and the reception staff were always very polite and very helpful. The bar was well stocked with again, great service.

The only downside was our room was outward facing with a service road leading down the side and every morning around 4:30am, the local restaurant emptied the bins which was rather loud. However, you can’t expect silence in the middle of Rome and to be fair, it was very quiet in the room almost all of the time.

The decor was lovely. The bed was comfortable. The staff was great.

A syite ought to have more than one room. The breakfast was mediocre to say the best. The bathroom was very cold.

Breakfast was very good. Staff friendly top to bottom. Walkable to Trevi and Spanish Steps. Busy area with good selection of shopping and restaurants all within walking distance. Room and shower also excellent. Modern but touches throughout of the history of the building.

Elevator small but since airline lost our luggage it wasn’t an issue. Regardless, the steps are easily manageable.

Excellent location, lovely building with a courtyard, making it quiet during evenings and at night. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Very comfortable bed and especially pillows! Lights in the room are very well planned and centrally controlled

Standard breakfast is continental (ie only bakery and yoghurts), should really be reflected in description - cooked food is extra. Coffee in the restaurant was surprisingly bad. Sometimes a mouldy smell appears in the bathroom but perhaps it’s a general Rome thing

The staff and cleanliness of the hotel were top notch.

while there were a lot of restaurants in the area, they were all pretty basic. not the hotels fault of course. my husband ordered 2 hard-boiled eggs in addition to the free breakfast. those two eggs ended up costing us $55!! $10 for the eggs and $45 for a city tax!!! I must say that this is robbery. we should have been notified when ordering about the additional tax cost because $10 for 2 boiled eggs is already ridiculous.
