Alessia, the hostess was very friendly and helpful. The location of the apartment is great. Although the apartment is on the 1st floor, there is a lift in the building. The train station and the market are within a walking distance. There was a wide range of pastries for breakfast in the kitchen. Two different types of milk in the fridge and fruit juice. Not too big room but clean, a nice sized wardrobe with hangers. There is a rack and a mirror on the wall. The bed was comfy. The bathroom was small but clean. There are several restaurants nearby. The bus 71 takes you to the centre if you don't want to walk. I was allowed to leave my suitcase behind for a few hours before I left for the airport. The price was affordable. I will stay there again when I'm in Rome.

If your room window overlooks the street, it can be noisy at night because of the restaurants in the street. Keep the window shut. It helps.

Convenient place to stay near to Terminali Station. Very good value for Rome. It is fairly basic but fine for an overnight stay. Didn't meet the host, but correspondence through WhatsApp was very good and clear. Breakfast is again basic but was OK for us. Just a hint to future guests. The code for the main entrance also unlocks the subsequent door so you need to unlock that quickly or you will have to go back outside and enter the code again.

It was fine for the price.

Handy to Roma Centrali (20 min walk) and a convenient happening local area in general. Everything you need is provided in the kitchen.

I should have requested a quiet room. There are several popular bars and restaurants in the area. You need access to WhatsApp to communicate to get the key. I had data problems which was stressful initially; easy peasy if you have data. I did enjoy my stay overall and for the price I would recommend.

The location is near the termini, but walking with suitcases is not so much fun, and the area is not so good. As a woman alone even at 6pm still men and homeless people tried to talk with me. The price is lower than other locations but if your purpose is to be near the termini you still probably need a bus. Also breakfast is very minimal without any fresh stuff.

Host was very much helpful. Easy for self check in, as we arrived in late night. room was clean, additional blanket was available. Breakfast was OK, all packed foods but everyday different items. Host was available every time in wats app. Value for money.

Entrance path to the house will feel like a ghost house, but inside was really clean. Really appreciate host for this. Surrounding of the room was not much clean. I suggest to keep a small coffee vending machine rather than providing milk and coffee powder

Personal is very proactive and friendly, always willing to help. The location is very close from Terminal Central Station for walking and there is also a bus station in front of the door as well as a supermarket. There is also an elevator for convenience of transporting the luggage. We could leave our luggages after check out without limit of timing, that was a lot of help. There is plenty of restaurants and bars in the streets around and around the corner, a lot of options to eat and try nice food.

We only stayed one night, the night of Friday to Saturday and there was some noise from restaurants/bars in the street.

Great price/quality rate. The place is clean and cosy. Heating works well, cleaning is good. Beds we're comfortable so we could have a good rest after the day of walking. The kitchen is always available for use. You can leave your luggage before check-in and after check-out. Good location, although the route past the train station is not too picturesque :) Special thanks to Alessia for her hospitality and attention.

Breakfast suggestion: to add boiled eggs, plain bread, butter

We liked the location of the accommodation. We were able to walk to most of the sights in the city centre. The room we had was spacious, and the landlady cleaned our room every day. She even let us leave our luggage in the apartment after checkout, since we had a night flight.

The breakfast selection could have been more varied.

The apartment is located in a lively part of the San Lorenzo area but not difficult to reach from Termini station. Alessia was very welcoming and helpful and the room and other areas were nicely decorated and had a homelike comforting feel. The bathroom was shared in my case but as I was up early, this was not a problem at all. I would definitely return here on a future trip to Rome.

I love Italian light breakfast and Max House fulfilled my expectation. I love the location. First of all, as I love authentic Italian cuisine, I like it that the restaurants in the area are not super touristy and are frequented mostly by Italians. Also, as I need to walk three to five kms daily, albeit slowly, per doctor’s advice, the one km walk from Max house to the Termini Central Train and Bus station is perfect. There are bus stops nearby too but I prefer to walk to go to the center.
