Excellent location - while not on a metro line, only a three-minute walk to the taxi stand at Piazza Navona. Many restaurants nearby - 1 - 3 minute walk. Piazza Navona was also a good location - we attended a piano/cello concert at a nearby church; excellent.

While taxis in Rome are relatively inexpensive (3 euros to start) if a taxi is called from the hotel desk, starting fare is 12 euro. Taxi stand at Piazza Navona is only 3 minute walk - hotel management should advise guests of this feature.

We had a wonderful stay at the Navona Theatre Hotel. The room was spotless: extremely clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout our visit. The location couldn’t be better, just steps away from Piazza Navona and within easy walking distance to many of Rome’s main attractions. What truly made our experience special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we needed, from recommendations to arranging small details that made our stay perfect. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Rome who values cleanliness, a great location, and exceptional hospitality.

Excellent location and very good rooms. We stayed in the main hotel, not the annex. The rooms were spacious, clean and well featured with good air conditioning, hairdryer, TV, safe and fridge. The hotel is a short walk to Piazza Navona, the Pantheon and the streets in the area are lively at night. We paid for breakfast and it was worth it for the convenience. It is a mixture of cereal, fruit, cold meats and pastries and was nice, if a little repetitive

The hotel is on a short alleyway which isn't particularly nice but not a big problem. There is no bar but again not an issue for us

The location is incredible . 1 min for Piazza Navona; no more than 20 mins to the Vatican or Spanish steps; Pantheon 5 min walk! Tons of amazing places to eat & drink outside the door! Great transport links on the doorstep. Cleanliness was superb! Staff also great!

Not great if you are a light sleeper - as these was ALOT of noise from the bar/ restaurant underneath. Also ALOT of noise from next door rooms. Didn’t bother us but if you are a light sleeper it’s worth noting. There was no late check out which was disappointing. Was pretty expensive considering there wasn’t much in terms of facilities; £800 for 3 nights; but I guess you are paying for location! The taxi from the airport couldn’t find it … as it’s down an alley way … and dropped us on the main road and we had to find it ourselves

Breakfast was fantastic the one day our schedule allowed us to have it and the breakfast attendant was very professional and kind. The location was the best part. The front desk staff member on our arrival date of 4/20/25 was SO kind and he deserves accolades. The other front desk staff as we came and went through the other days were always pleasant and helpful.

It would be nice to have newer and cleaner towels and a more comfortable (softer) mattress. Slightly disappointed in return in value on what we paid as was almost $300 USD per night. Breakfast should open before 8am since most tours start early and breakfast is a must as opportunity since clearly part of total per night price. If that's not possible, consider offering to go breakfast with a can of Illy coffee, box of juice etc. and two pastries and a piece of fruit to those who pre-arrange the day before with front desk.

Loved the location and ease of checking in. Perfect place to walk out in the morning otherwise be right in the middle of Piazza Navona district (great centralized location to walk everywhere). We got breakfast out and about every day, the room was nice and clean and the AC was great to haver during the heat wave.

Everything was great, only thing we could be slightly picky about is the firmness of the bed and the flatness of the pillows.

This hotel is in an excellent location, with all scenic spots within walking distance. Even the farthest one can be reached in about half an hour on foot. The front desk staff are especially enthusiastic. They will explain the tourist routes, provide tourist maps, and tell visitors how to get around. What's more, the air conditioning in this hotel works really well, keeping you comfortable in the hot Italian weather. The room service is prompt, with cleaning done basically every day. The rooms are also clean, tidy and comfortable.

I cannot say enough about how much we loved loved LOVED staying at Navona Theatre Hotel! The location is absolutely fantastic, many restaurants, Piazza Navona, best tiramisu shop just around the corner. The staff is friendly and very accommodating - Marco was our absolute favorite helpful person to go to! They also arranged our transport to and from the airport - all was on time and smooth! The room was perfect - clean, quiet, safe, amazing! I will 100% come back to Rome and stay here again. We will recommend this hotel to everyone I know traveling to Rome! Thank you guys for being a part of our beautiful and unforgettable vacation!!!

I loved everything about this place!

The hotel is in a great location with the Pantheon, Castel St Angelo, Vatican, Borghese Gardens, Forum, etc. all within 25 min walk. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. We were in the annex, about 150m away from the main hotel. That was cheaper than a room in the hotel proper. A handful of rooms were in the annex, in an apartment on the second floor of a separate building. Great for us (the other guests in the annex were all very quiet), but if you like the reassurance of having the reception close at hand, then you should pay more for a room in the hotel itself.

We stayed in the annex building and it was in a gorgeous location. (arguably better than the original hotel). The room was very spacious. Bed was large and comfortable. I know other guests have complained about it being hard but I adore a firm mattress and found it very comfortable. Air conditioning was strong and welcomed after all the walking in a hot Rome! Lots of nice restaurants and cafes around the hotel. Ideal location for exploring Rome. We walked everywhere. Walked to the colosseum and the Vatican easily. Third time in Rome and this was the best area to stay in by far! I had messaged the property inquiring about an iron being available and was pleased to see one in our room upon arrival.

Breakfast was very basic, wouldn't bother paying for it or choosing the option when it's included. Coffee shop two doors down from the annex building does a lovely coffee and a croissant for 3.50€
