The rooms look fairly fresh, clean and a nice size, the receptionist was very helpful when they are there and arranged our transport both ways to and from the airport. The location is great, very near shops, supermarkets and tons of restaurants and food places, for all budgets. Best food we had was at Claps few minutes walk away. The Vatican city is 10 minutes walk to the front but it's truly on your doorstep. Bus stops and the metro are 5 minutes walk away max depending how quick you go and you can get wherever you want to from here. They don't serve breakfast here but you can make tea, coffee and grab a cake or biscuit at any time.

I booked two twin rooms and one room had a double bed with what looked like a pop up single bed next to it. I ended up taking that bed to keep everyone happy, it was comfy but probably the most expensive bed I've ever payed for to sleep on. A little bed in a corner at my age was not really acceptable. My mother and friend had a proper twin room and I wished both rooms were the same. I searched and payed for the hotel and The property in this case didn't quite meet my full expectations but my companions were happy.

Well / excellent location for tour entry into the Vatican City. The meeting point was effectively directly across the road (30m). Walking distance from metro station and bus line as well as numerous restaurants and cafes.

Shower was a little tight, but workable. The communal area (coffee machines and tables had more of a staff area feel and the coffee machine probably needs to have the coffee beans refreshed weekly).

Maribel is very nice and communicates very well. The room is very nice and comfortable. Breakfast is available at the Hotel Museum across the street between 7 and 9 a.m. The choice is not bad for Italy, but it is limited. On arrival at the hotel there was a free bottle of mineral water in the fridge for each person. Free coffee machine at reception, plus tea throughout your stay. The location is excellent, about 50 metres from the entrance to the Vatican Museums.

The whole accommodation could use a little renovation. The common areas are not air conditioned, the air conditioning in the rooms works but is not very modern. I don't know if it was this or something else, but there was always dust on the floor despite the cleaning. So I'm not saying that there is no perfect cleanliness, but that despite this, something immediately makes the floor dusty again. In the bathroom, it is very difficult to flush the cold water, it heats up again and again, and I often felt that the toilet flushes with hot water.

The location for visiting the Vatican museums and St Peters basilica could not have been more convenient. We were able to tour the Vatican early in the morning (all the advanced bookings were sold out so we got in line for day of tickets at 6:45am and we were in the museum 15 minutes after they opened - 9:15am). We came back, took a nap, and then visited St Peters basilica and climbed to the top of the dome - what a view. The staff was amazing. The day we left I texted early because I was having problems booking a ride for 6 people with luggage to the airport. She came to work 15 minutes early and assisted us - this meant we did not miss our train. Thank you so much.

We had issues working the a/c but this was totally our own fault. Just listen to the staff instructions instead of pushing buttons on the a/c remote and it will work fine.

The location is perfect if visiting the Vatican. The steps to enter are just across the street. Although we had to pay for breakfast, it was a delicious breakfast just across the street. The room was large and lovely with modern updates. The staff were so friendly and helpful.

A note saying to PUSH on the main door downstairs would be helpful. We tried for a while to get it open, then realized we were pulling instead of pushing.

The location was amazing. We could see the Vatican from our window. The room was lovely as was the hotel and very clean. The host was lovely, and I had great communication with her. We had transfers to and from the airport which the hotel arranged for us.

The only problem we had was the bed. It was extremely hard and noisy. Everytime you would turn over or get out of the bed the springs would make so much noise it was impossible to not wake up the person next to you. It made it impossible to get a good night's sleep

The staff is super kind and helpful. Location is great for visiting Vatican, and the Museum is just couple of stairs. There are many restaurants, shops, bars very close. Breakfast (at the opposite hotel) is great. Good coffee machine in the small kitchen.

We were 4, so the size of the room could have been a bit bigger and we had 1 kingsize bed and 2 guest beds. Anyhow the guest beds were also comfortable.

The location was great for our trip. We were no more than a 20 minute walk to Vatican City, and it was also a quick walk across the Tiber River to get to other locations around Rome. My wife greatly enjoyed the espresso machine in the lobby for her morning espresso. Even though there was an issue with the room wifi not working, the staff provided us with the lobby wifi information for our trip. It was very helpful having the staff help to arrange transportation both directions to and from the airport.

wifi did not work for our room, but as mentioned about, this was remedied by hotel staff by being provided the lobby wifi information. We did not see any hotel staff for the duration of our trip. Only communication was through booking.com

The location near the Vatican was superb- 5 minute walk to the museum doors and 12 minutes to St Peter’s square. The breakfast is offered across the street at a partner hotel. It was good and it opened early (0700) which helped immensely.

Parking is difficult so I arranged for overnight parking in a local garage.

The hotel is literally 50 metres from the Vatican Museum and there are plenty of places to get a breakfast and some excellent restaurants nearby for evening meals. The hostess is really nice, friendly and helpful. There's a metro station about 5 minutes walk away. Saint Peter's is about 10 minutes away by walking - If you want to visit, go first thing in the morning, or at 5 in the evening.

The area seems to be a little seedy, especially in the evening when the shops are closed with the shutters down. There are also some homeless people sleeping rough nearby, but these days that seems to be the case in many European capitals. There are no 'facilities' (gym, swimming pool etc) as such, but I wasn't expecting any.
