It is real Gem at the heart of Trastevere. I loved my suite so much! First of all the best location in the neighborhood, close to night fun, but quiet, safe and peaceful. The apartment has 3 suites, I was hosted at junior, with amazing terrace! There is also big beautiful shared kitchen, you can use and has everything you may need. The room is old style and beautifully decorated, really charming. Gabriele is very nice and helpful host, Thank you for hosting me! Arrivederci 💜

The apartment is located on 4 floor without an elevator, I liked it, but it may be not so convenient for everyone.

Overall, a lovely spot in a great location. The bed was comfortable and the bedding and towels were clean. The room was also refreshed and cleaned each day which was also nice. The host was attentive and available. A large terrace was a lovely plus.

The only downside was the slanting ceiling in our room above the bed that meant that one person was always bending over to get in and out of bed. There was no direct window in the bedroom which would have been nice.

Gabriele was amazing during check in helping with bags, answering any questions etc. When Booking.com had the site posted with an extra bedroom (we were traveling with 10 people, 4 couples 2 singles) Gabriele and Emmanuel were extremely efficient in helping us get the problem resolved putting myself and my fiancé in a nearby apartment and paying for the taxi to get there with no extra charge. Both properties were in great shape, amazing AC during a Roman heatwave (I lived in Rome for a while and never have I EVER woke up cold, it worked extremely well!) I would highly recommend any Torripa Group property, they are all over Italy! No bugs, all amenities, the room I was in had a huge shower and nice comfortable bed! Terrace in Trastevere was excellent, lots of food and sights nearby! Takes you less than 30 minutes to walk to the Vatican, colosseum, Spanish steps etc and a cab is easy to grab in and out if you would like! Remember there is NO metro but there are trams in Trastevere that can take you up to the Vatican/ Ottaviano- there is NO lift so if you are going to struggle taking luggage up several flights of stairs I would stay at their location in Prati!

The power box got a little hot while we were there, they are a few individual apartments all linked through a central entrance- If you haven't traveled Europe before you may find this odd but it is extremely common! But I don't think the electrical was up to 10 people, they got electricians there ASAP and got the problem resolved extremely quickly!

The location was fantastic! Lots of bars and restaurants near by all that were reasonably priced. We tried to eat on our side of the river. As soon as you go over the river nearer the main Rome attractions prices go up. Nice cafe at the bottom of the accommodation and just up the road which is good for breakfast and an espresso. The staff were there to meet us on arrival and although the room wasn’t quite ready they were happy for us to leave our bags in the room so we could head off and explore. The room was clean however we didn’t spend a lot of time there as there was so much to do in Rome.

The building was misleading when you arrived. It looks run down and it is easy to miss. The shower did not drain properly and as silly as it sounds the ceiling in the bathroom and bedroom were very low my partner banged his head a few times. But all in all it was a lovely experience

Excellent location in the heart of hip Trasvetere. 50m from bus stop get-off to other parts of city. Quiet in the room and my personal terrace!

The shower cubicle was very small and shower head didnt work well. Also there was a slightly unpleasant smell. The terrace was a little bare of greenery and decoration but the view is so lovely. Spent a lot of time here in the morning with my coffee and cigarette.

We had a great stay at Torripa. Location couldn’t be better! It was clean and cosy. There was an issue with plug sockets next to the bed which were not fully working so we had to choose between light and charging. Also communication at the end did not go well, guys who manage the property agreed with us to leave the luggage but didn’t show up, so we left our luggages in a paid locker box nearby. Otherwise we had a comfortable stay.

Great place to stay in Trastevere. Clean apartment, comfortable and great value for money. The host was super friendly and helpful.

The downside is the 3rd floor so you have to carry the luggage and the bathroom in our apartment was on the upper floor of the room so a bit annoying to go up every time but it is okay for short stay.

we did not care too much but guests should know there is only one bathroom on top floor so guest in bottom floor have to cross top bedroom to get to the toilet !

Malliga was very helpful thanks to her. I knew before I come there is no elevator so it didn’t bother me since Malliga helped me with the my bags. The locations is the best but 1 minute away is the best street food you will ever try. And yes the AC is working and you don’t have to worry about it since other properties have issues with the AC.

Very great location - you can just walk around the city by foot (we've reached Vatican City within 40 min. with 5 year old). The area itself felt safe even in late evenings and there are many great places to eat. The host - Gabriele was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
