This is not a B&B, This is a genuine hospitality experience I have never felt before in any of my trips which are so many! The Bonanni family take care personally of their guests and makes sure everyone feels at home starting by serving a very generous breakfast themselves and not ending with tips and hints about the hidden gems in Rome. Carolina helped us in finding tickets to the Vatican museum, booking a taxi to the airport, .. Alessandra is such a wonderful lady in every aspect who makes you feel at home and with whom you can engage in a great conversations about history, art, architecture, .. she made sure we have breakfast the last day we left even though we were leaving earlier than the breakfast time This is definitely will be my first choice to stay in Rome every-time I go there

Absolutely Nothing

Trastevere Colors is the perfect place to stay, close to the cosy area of Trastevere with its wide range of restaurants and outdoor seating. The accommodation is within walking distance to the major attractions such as the Pantheon, the Roman Forum and the Trevi Fountain, and on the way there are so many more sights and beautiful buildings to explore. We stayed in the suite and had breakfast (yogurt and muesli, egg, bread, croissant, juice, tea and coffee) served to the room every day. The area is quite quiet and it feels safe to move around even at night. The hosts, Alessandra and Carolina, are the loveliest! They know the surroundings well and are more than happy to advise on everything you need. We will be more than happy to stay at Trastevere Colors next time we go to Rome!

The bed was a little hard but otherwise everything was perfect.

The family that owns Trastevere Colors are the nicest people! They helped us a lot with everything that we asked and the room was really clean,they actually cleaned it everyday!Breakfast was really good too. The location is perfect and everything is at walking distance ! I would absolutely recommend staying there if you are visiting Rome !

The breakfast was OK, quite a variety of breakfast drinks, croissants, yoghurt, cereals, fruits etc. We had our tea-making facilities. The hosts were extremely nice, helpful and friendly. The quartier Trastevere is quite the best place to stay in Rome, being close to everything and at the same time far from the noisy crowd. Nice restaurants around.

In a quieter neighborhood with many good restaurants nearby. Within walking distance of the main sights. Very warm welcome by the owners who were always ready with help, advice and information. They made us feel like honoured guests in their house. A special mention here to Alexandra, mother of Carolina who was exceptionally lovely.

On first sight I was disappointed with our room considering how much it cost per night; the single beds were narrow but comfortable, the shower had a curtain, not a glass enclosure. However, after one day I happily changed my opinion and was very pleased with my choice. Hotels in Rome are expensive and Colours was in line with the average for the time of year.

Carolina and her mother were the perfect hosts, very friendly and helpful. They gave us a map and showed us exactly where to get the tram into the centre. They also booked the airport link taxi on our behalf. The breakfast was lovely and it was nice to share the table with other guests, everyone chatted to each other and that added to the atmosphere.

The property was further away from the city centre than I realised when I made the booking. It was a self-service check in and although it was very easy to follow and access our property, it would have been nicer to meet the host on the day of arrival. We didn't know our way to the centre and although we got maps and directions the next morning at breakfast, we had a long first day trying to figure out the way to the attractions.

Great location - there's a fab locals bar only a min walk away plus loads of great restaurants within 15 mins walk Wonderful friendly and helpful owners - Carolina and her mother are charming and so helpful - fonts of knowledge on places to visit and eat - especially those less visited by tourists Fab breakfast included Spacious characterful room with everything you needed Room cleaned daily which was very thoughtful

Nothing at all - this is an exceptional hotel and wonderful value for money It's centrally located -so of course there is an expected level of street noise but nothing a good meal, a bottle of wine and a set of ear-plugs won't sort!

Our beautiful host Alexandra & Carolina couldn't have been more loving & kind to us! We were greeted by Alexandra the first day for a lovely sit down breakfast with the largest croissants (corrnetto ) I've ever seen But more importantly was the conversation & hospitality she shows to all her guest. We were than introduced to her beautiful daughter Carolina , my granddaughter & I truly enjoyed her sweet demeanor , fun personality & thoughtful caring nature . This B&B goes above and beyond wanting to make your stay in Rome a fantastic experience. We only wish to meet again.

Mum and daughter who run this place are lovely. We were made to feel very welcome and breakfast around a large dining table was a family affair where you could chat with them and other guests. We would normally prefer a larger, more modern, anonymous hotel but we made an exception with this one because of the warmth and welcome we received here. The Trastevere Colors is in a great location, nicely outside the busy bar and restaurant area of Trastevere with some quieter, lovely eating places just around the corner.

Our room could have done with a little updating, but we're not complaining.

Excellent location in Trastevere. We love that neighborhood--much more "local" in flavor than central Rome. B&B is in very quiet side street so you will get a good night's sleep. Hospitality from family is a 10--so welcoming and eager to please and to have you as their guest. You will get comfortable, clean accommodations which delivers great value for the money. Just don't expect the "Ritz." Very easy to take train from FCO to Trastevere station then very short bus ride to within two blocks of B&B. Overall Rome is obviously a very busy city so again I would point out the quiet but very central location in Trastevere of Trastevere Colors. Short walking distance to many restaurants.

The breakfast which included wonderful fresh melon, yogurt and coffee was great. The baked items, croissant and bread, not so much. Didn't taste fresh.
