The b&b is in a great location in Trastevere, just a short stroll from all the bars and restaurants. Another 10-15 minute walk you are in the centre of Rome. Nice staff, clean rooms with a comfy bed. There was a kettle with tea & coffee and a wee fridge, handy for water. They serve a continental breakfast in your room anytime between 830-10 which was nice - tea and coffee of your choice, cheese, salami / ham, warm toasted bread rolls with jam and Nutella, some cake, water and juice, plenty to set you up for a day exploring Rome. We got checked in early when we arrived at 1pm, it was no problem. The building itself is really nice with an old 1920s lift which is delightful. Would recommend this B&B and the area of Trastevere if you are visiting Rome.

We enjoyed our stay, the only thing I could comment on would be that if you like the windows open and have a room to the front the road is very busy / noisy, even at night and there’s a popular bar downstairs. The Roman parakeets also like to be noisy - but it did not detract from our stay. My advice would be to eat lots of great Roman food with plenty of wine and you’ll sleep like a log!

Everything about this property was absolutely wonderful. The owner, her daughter, and staff, we’re all extremely welcoming and kind. The room was beautiful with the coziness and uniqueness you would expect at a bed-and-breakfast. Both the room and bathroom were well stocked and extremely clean. The main bed and the side bed for our son were both very comfortable. Breakfast was made to order daily, and came with fresh bread, rolls, pastries, fruit, yogurt, meats, and cheeses, and if you would like eggs. They also made cappuccinos to order and juice for our son. The location was ideal. We absolutely loved the neighborhood Trastevere.

Nothing.

The location was fantastic, right near the main attractions of Trastavere, its Cathedrals including the one 😀 with Bernini's last sculpture and all its restaurants. One can easily walk to the Tiber River, stroll along to Vatican City, or cross a bridge into Rome, hop on public transport, or even cab it. Still its quiet. Being family run by a mother and daughter, one receives incomparable service from being in warmly Greeted to all the teas, coffees and treats in the foyer.

It was perfect.

Fantastic location to explore Rome, we walked everywhere. Paola was a warm and welcoming host and we would definitely stay there again. The room had plenty of storage, a good TV, kettle and fridge, which is always very welcome. The shower was powerful and hot and the towels and bedding were clean and crisp. The beds were super comfortable and the aircon was very efficient (we only needed short little blasts). I certainly recommend staying here.

Be aware that breakfast is served quite late (from 8.30) but I believe arrangements could be made to have it served to your room the night before if Paola is made aware. Unfortunately we didn’t realise this but Paola kindly gave us some bananas to keep us going! There is a lot of noise through the night and the building is old so doesn’t shut out the noise as a modern building would. It didn’t bother us particularly but I think it could affect guests who are noise sensitive as it is very loud at times. To be expected in Rome for sure, but just something to be aware of! If you walk everywhere and are exhausted you’ll probably sleep through anything anyway!

Many thanks to Paola and her "assistants"! We had again very successful and nice visit at Paola's place! In the mornings we got in our room a tray with fruits, juice, cheese, ham, salami etc. and of course cappucino with fresh, big bread roll and cake... And if we wanted, we also got scrambled eggs! One morning we left very early for a day trip and Paola brought the breakfast items ready in our room's fridge. It was nice to travel to Assisi without "hanger":) Thanks! They also phone for us our reservations to restaurants, as they did also during our last visit! The cleanliness of room and bathroom was also first class! Paola's place has been the best of of our manyB&Bs in Trastevere! We hope to see you again next spring!

The property is very clean in a quaint building. The area is fabulous for a base - yes it’s busy but that’s part of the character. The windows are double glazed so much of the noise is blocked out and the air conditioning worked well. The staff were very attentive and responded to one problem with our toilet quickly and no problem. Excellent all round .

Nothing really all things considered.🙌

The property is conveniently located in Trastevere, very close to the bridge over the Tiber River with easy walking-distance access to the main attractions in the city of Rome. It is also a little over a mile away from the Roma Trastevere train station. We walked from the train station to the property, but taking a taxi is more convenient if you are carrying heavy luggage. The property is surrounded by shops and restaurants. The room was clean, except for the mold in the bathroom. Paola (our host) was very accommodating and made a decent breakfast with scrambled eggs for us in the morning and kept our luggage after checkout so we could take a walk before it was time to take the train to Civitavecchia for our cruise.

The rooms are a bit too small for couples carrying big luggage. Our room was probably a dining room to which they added the bathroom, taking a lot of space, thus making the room smaller. Because the bathroom had no ventilation or extractor, mold was settling in some places. The toilet was very loud when flushed, so we couldn’t flush at night to avoid waking anybody up. Because the building is in front of a busy street, we could not sleep with the windows open and had to use the A/C, even when the weather was nice to sleep with the windows open.

Best breakfast!! So much to eat, amazing gluten-free options. We loved the location, close to everything but Trestevere is removed enough from the really busy tourist area. We loved being on this side of the river. Hosts are friendly. Comfortable room, we loved having the large window. No noise from the street. You can hear people in the common area from inside your rooms, although everyone was respectful and quiet.

No shampoo was provided, not a huge deal but it would have been nice :)

Wonderful neighboorhood, CLEAN space, comfortable bed, good complete breakfast: breads pasteies good prosciuto and mests and cheese yogurt, fruit, great cappuccino. They have a small elevator. This is a converted local apartment. Near taxis and bus/ tram ( 1 min to taxi 3 m to bus stop). There are mny streets to walk around ( crossing the street) with restaurants and gelato! Grazie mile to Paola and Constanza

Its by a busy street so a bit noisy - we chose to close windows which helped. Airconditioned worked nicely

The property is well located in Trastevere close to amazing restaurants and a quick 20 minute walk across the bridge to Romes main attractions. Very clean, with tea and coffee facilities in the room and access to a kitchen if you require anything more. Very comfortable.

There weren’t any real negatives apart from a bit of traffic noise which earplugs fixed. Paolo does a great job.
