We stayed 5 nights in Sonnino Suits and I would definitely recommend it. The location was perfect for us closed to everything but at the same time in a quiet and so beautiful neighbourhood - Trastevere ❤️. Every day the room was cleaned, the towels were changed and all the toiletries refreshed. The room was quiet, we had perfect Wi-Fi connection, no problems with the hot water( we read that there is a problem with the hot water in Rome in general), and we had the most comfortable bed and pillows we could dream for. I will discribe our time in Rome like exceptional and Sonnino Suite is a big credit for that.

May be an extra chair will be nice when you booked a room for a couple.

We had a fantastic stay at Sonnino Suites fantastic location walking distance to all the sights of Rome, lots of restaurants supermarkets and cafes within easy reach. The staff were so helpful with suggestions and nothing was too hard for them to organise. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. Lift up to the 4th floor was in working order after a long day in Rome this was appreciated. amazing stay highly recommend.

A tip about finding Sonnino Suites is the building is a mustard coloured 5 stories on the main road not far from the bus stop (Belli) which you get from Trastevere train station no 8 bus get a ticket before you board ,building has large wooden double doors the signage is small so I have attached a few photos for quick access.

Great location for exploring Rome. Lots of good restaurants, cafes and bars very close by. Several breakfast options within a few blocks. There was quite a lot of floor space in the room, which was appreciated as we were 2 adults and 2 teenagers in the same (quadruple) room. It worked surprisingly well. There's a minimart next-door and a Carrefour a few blocks away if you want to stock up on some meat and cheese for pre-dinner snacks. The regional train from the airport is an easy way to get to the Suites. We travelled light so we took the train to Roma Trastevere and walked (about 25min), but there are also options where you can transfer to bus and get much closer. Very easy to communicate with Sonnino Suites using messages in the app, with quick responses!

The room was simple yet spacious. There was a mini fridge and supplies for a quick coffee or tea. The location was great for us. Just a quick little walk into the heart of Trastevere.

The bed was quite firm for me, my husband liked it though.

Location was incredible - very easy walk to attractions and saw fireworks out the window for a festival held at the church while there! Small room but this was expected and didn’t impact the stay. Black out curtains, and a great private bathroom. Would stay again :)

Nothing. The shower does have a big step into it if you’re not physically abled but this did not affect us.

The location was ideal! Easy to access, restaurants and bar just minutes away. The rooms were clean and comfy.

All was perfect, but just be careful in the bathroom it is very slippery.

The location was great. The room and the bathroom were both very clean. The beds were comfortable and the hotel was quiet at night. The front desk clerk that checked us in was very kind and helpful.

The only one small drawback was not having a front desk that had someone available at all times. We got locked out from the area that led to our suite because we think that another guest in that area locked the heavy wooden door (with the metal latch that slides into the walls) that opened to the hallway that led to the suites. We tried to call the main number for assistance but got the answering machine. Luckily, we only had to wait about 10 minutes and the other guests unlocked it because they were leaving. Maybe a sign or something would be helpful for other guests to not use a latch on that door when other guests are staying in that area (at least that seemed to be the issue as our key wouldn't work until the other guests unlatched the door).

Perfect location in the lovely Trastevere area. Walking distance to all the sites. Fab restaurants virtually on the doorstep and bus stop to Termini Station right outside. Room was spacious and comfortable and despite being near a busy-ish road was peaceful and quiet. The black out blinds and well glazed windows ensured a great night's sleep. Bathroom was spotless, water pressure was great and loved having the bidet! Bed was comfy and pillows were firm and full. Ilaria was very welcoming and helpful and the ability to store our luggage on the last day was very useful as we had a late flight back.

Bathroom toilet a little close to the wall. My boyfriend struggled to use it unless he sat down! Some mould on the bathroom walls and shower took a while to heat up.

The room was spacious and easily accessible. The entry system to the building and rooms was efficient and easy to navigate. Having our room refreshed every day was a great treat, as well as having the aircon and Netflix for those times that were too hot to be outside. The location of this hotel is also perfect - in the heart of Trastevere but still completely quiet at all times, and also only a 10-20min walk from all the landmarks. Such a perfect location for our trip!

Room was very clean, nicely decorated, beds comfortable and showers worked well (good size for Europe). Location was great for us, we were able to walk to all of the sites. Bonus was being so close to the street fairs and all the entertainment next to the river with many restaurants that were better and less expensive than those closer to the sites.

I don't know how you would get into the hotel if you arrived when the front desk was closed. You feel very safe while in the building, but you need to have someone at the hotel let you in when you first arrive (the front door is locked and requires access with a card).
