We stayed at the Twentyone Hotel in Rome for four nights, from July 17 to July 21. Overall, our experience was very good – the location is excellent, the rooms are clean, and the service was satisfactory. However, it's important to note that Rome is a global city with thousands of hotels to choose from. Unfortunately, we were disappointed to see that this particular hotel chose to display the Palestinian flag at its entrance alongside a small selection of other flags (Italy, the European Union, and the United States). When we asked the front desk why they chose to display that specific flag, the response was that they had included all world flags – which was clearly inaccurate, as only six flags were present. While we fully respect diverse views, we found this choice unnecessarily political and out of place in a hospitality setting. It created discomfort for us as Israeli guests. If the hotel prefers not to welcome Israeli visitors, there are plenty of excellent alternatives in Rome that would be happy to host us warmly and without political overtones.

For fellow Israeli travelers: If feeling comfortable and politically neutral during your stay is important to you, you may wish to consider other hotels that focus solely on hospitality and guest experience without sending political messages. Rome offers countless high-quality accommodations that warmly welcome guests from Israel.

The room was clean and well maintained. I appreciate the daily service and room cleaning as well as the included breakfast. The staff were always friendly, helpful and very accommodating.

I travelled with my adult son and the room was appropriate for our stay. It would have been more suitable and better equipped if we had a small table with two chairs as opposed to a desk with one chair. The breakfast has a great choice of foods, however, it would have been better if there was an egg station as opposed to a stationary area with already made eggs. The service in both the breakfast area and restaurant were exceptional and very much appreciated.

Staff was friendly. Room was very clean. Location is perfect...walking distance from all famous places.

There was one confusing thing. I wanted to have my dinner in the room as i spent every day walking around and exploring the City and in the end of the day felt tired. First two days i got my dinner in my room. But some staff member advised me to go out and don't stay in room for dinner. It was said in polite way. On third day i even did not manage to order anything as straight away was told to go out for dinner. I work in a hotel in England and it was strange advise because every meal you have on site is an extra money for hotel, for company. Even it was said very nicely it made me feel unwanted. But meals i had for dinner in first two nights was really good.

I had a fantastic experience. The first thing that stood out was the exceptional cleanliness—the rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and fresh every day. The housekeeping team did an outstanding job, ensuring everything was perfectly arranged and sanitized. Beyond cleanliness, the hotel had a modern and stylish design, creating a cozy yet elegant atmosphere. The location was also a big plus, conveniently close to major attractions and public transport, making it easy to explore Rome. The staff were friendly and professional, always ready to assist with any requests. Overall, I highly recommend Twenty One Hotel for anyone visiting Rome, especially if cleanliness and comfort are top priorities!

The hotel is quite busy, and with many guests coming and going, having only one entrance can feel a bit congested. Adding another entrance or improving the flow at the main one could make check-in and access smoother, especially during peak hours.

the staff in 4 star hotel is expected to read well the visitors preferences and to try to meet them since the arrival. The rooms we asked for are NOT to face a noisy road . The 1st night we had to listen to the night traffic , not able to sleep. Then , the staff arranged to move us to the rooms , facing kind of inner yard - thanks for this reaction. However the rooms were so hot , no cooling yet of the hotel air-conditioning and the air from the inner yard was also hot and for sure nor fresh ...

Location is great, actually I booked this hotel because I knew its location from before (I knew the hotel only from outside). The stuff was very friendly, either at reception desk, or during the breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised because I was offered with the "breakfast box", since I had to leave the hotel early in the morning.

For 4* hotel the room furniture is a little bit "tired" and the rooms should be renovated; that is why I have written that the hotel didn't meet my expectations. Besides that, blankets were old-fashioned, although I have to admit, the rooms were very clean and well maintained in terms of everyday service. Breakfast was not bad, but could be a little bit better with the choice.

Our stay at the Twenty One Hotel was one of the most memorable highlights of our trip to Italy. Ideally located, the hotel provides easy access to many attractions. The rooms were beautifully decorated, with efficient space management and artistic touches evident in every corner. The attention to detail made the entire experience feel luxurious and special. The rooftop restaurant and bar is a must-visit. From this vantage point, you can enjoy a delightful meal or drink while catching a glimpse of the Vatican in the distance. It's an experience that adds an unforgettable charm to your stay.

The location was brilliant for exploring historical Rome on foot or by public transport. The breakfast was lovely, the evening dinner was fantastic , and the views from the rooftop restaurant are brilliant. The bathroom was nice, with a powerful warm shower. The concierge staff are really helpful and it was easy for them to order a taxi when needed.

The round bed was a bit small for a 6ft+ person as my feet were off the end of the edges of the bed, which wasn't great for my back, but I still slept well as so tired from exploring during the day. The jacuzzi bath in the room didn't work so couldn't use the jacuzzi features but still could use purely as a bath. The ceiling had suffered from some damp from excess moisture in the room from the bath/shower, we opened the windows to let the moisture out after showering but clearly other guests hadn't which has led to the ceiling damage. There also wasn't any English speaking TV channels that work, not a huge issue as we just listened to BBC sounds radio on our phones instead or watched Netflix on our tablet, however you'd expect maybe at least one (classic BBC world news or something).

The breakfast was excellent, offering a variety of dishes such as scrambled eggs, rice, and more. Enjoying breakfast with a stunning view of the Vatican was a highlight. The hotel's location is perfect, with all major attractions within walking distance.

What we didn’t like was that the room had an odd shape in the corner, making the wardrobe quite small. The bathroom door didn’t provide much privacy, serving more as decoration than a proper door. The walls were relatively thin, so we could hear noises from other rooms.

The hotel is well connected to all the main attractions in Rome. It is also located on a very nice street which is close enough to Pharmacies, stores & good restaurants. It was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast buffet is also a must not to be missed! My family and I requested & booked conjoined rooms which was very ideal for when we needed to chat in the mornings. I would definitely recommend this place 100% would certainly choose to stay there again in the future.
