We really enjoyed staying in hotel Argentina. The location is perfect for exploring both Santa Margherita and Portofino. Breakfast and coffee were amazing and hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is located just across the road from the beautiful sandy Paragi beach and various trekking routes round the area. It is 25 mins walk to Portofino and the rote is stunning. We will definitely return sometime soon . Thank you Argentina.

Lovely room, lovely staff. The room was so spacious and clean and the external private bathroom was great too. Lovely walk to Portofino (take the pathway that goes high into the trees - think it’s called the walkway of kisses) and also if you don’t want to pay to use Paraggi beach there is a free one just a short walk away (in direction of Portofino) - we loved it here!

No hot water one night but think this may have been due to a storm. Did message about it but didn’t hear back.

Breakfast excellent and great italian coffee. Close to the beach. Close to Portofino. The pedestrian track convenient and nearby so you can walk to Portofino. Also, close to Santa Margueritta. There is a good bicycle track and pedestrian track to walk there. Car park close by but very crowded so reserve in advance.

The bedroom and the bathroom were separate. It was only for our use but it was not in the room so you have to go out of the room to go to the bathroom.

This hotel is really a hidden gem in Paraggi beach, located behind the main strip of more expensive hotels and well managed by the lovely couple of owners Vincenzo and Rita and their excellent staff. This is really a three/four star hotel, and NOT a two star as rated in the adverts. Owners and staff are all so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much bother, especially when we had to stay an extra night. Great location just across from the public beach, and the best one near Portofino which is within 30 minutes walking distance. Nice, but expensive restaurants nearby, and an excellent breakfast here too. Good bus service runs past the entrance to the hotel. Treat yourself to a nice lunch at La Terraza restaurant at the Hotel Splendido very worthwhile for the quality food and views from your table. Avoid the wines which are expensive, if you wish to keep the bill reasonably affordable! Two course lunch for two with water only is approx 170Euros including gratuity.

I love the location as it is between Santa Margherita and Portofino. The hotel was elegant and cute. Small and clean decent rooms. Nice water pressure (I love the shower). Outside the hotel is a bus stop to portofino, there is also a beach and two more public access beaches you can enjoy. Restaurants available outside the hotel a bit pricey but they have excellent service and food were superb. (I recommend Langosteria) Overall I am happy with my stay, such kind and acoommodating staff.

There was no lift so you need to carry your luggage to your room so be careful not to bring too much luggage. Rooms are small but they are decent.

We have stayed in Hotel Argentina four or five times before this visit. The hotel is in an excellent location, in the now trndy Paraggi beach village. with good parking and easy access to the shuttle bus to overcrowded Portofino, one mile away. Howevdr, this is the first time we have had a room with a beautiful terrace, which expands the value of the experience. The beach and the surronding tree covered hills rising from Paraggi's bay prfesent a beautiful view while relaxing.

The traffic through Paraggi during the day can be quite noisy.

The hotel location is just perfect,very close to Paraggi Beach and at a walking distance to Portofino. The hotel is run by welcoming owner and staff who seem to really care for their clients and not just to do a business. Room is clean and quiet. It is a perfect stay for a beach vacation with good value compared to hotels around the area. Breakfast at the hotel is great.

Hotel Argentina was a wonderful stay! The staff was very friendly and accomodating. We arrived quite late and had great instructions for an easy self check-in, with no problem finding our room. We stayed in a room where the bathroom was detached from the room, hesitant before our arrival, we were pleasantly surprised once we arrived. The bedroom and bathroom were both very spacious and clean. Hotel Argentina provided nice robes and slippers to accommodate the situation. The location is superb, being across the street from beach access and right along the walking path to nearby towns. Additionally, they provided a fantastic breakfast. Absolutely would stay again!

We had no complaints during our stay, it was wonderful!

Everything was perfect ! Well located, the people working there were fantastic very kind and helpful the room was huge and very clean ! Mini car , a safe, extra cushions and blanket, hair dryer shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom and a bidet ! The breakfast was very diverse and delicious and a goodbye present was the just the icing on the cake ! I’ll come back for sure !

We only spent one night here but it was great. We booked the last free room that unfortunately didn´t have bathroom and we had to walk through the hall with other rooms to get into our bathroom which might be a bit uncomfortable to anyone. But we knew this ahead + if you spend here only 1 night it´s no problem. At the end the price was very reasonable considering you´re so close to one of the most expensive locations in Italy! And both our room and the bathroom were clean. We can totally recommend this hotel!
