Probably the best option in Syracuse. Right in the heart of the city — all the restaurants are within a 5–10 minute walk. At the same time, it’s located on a quiet street, so you can sleep peacefully in the evenings and at night. And the staff here are absolutely wonderful and friendly! We really enjoyed our stay and had a great time.

The only thing to note — the stairs are quite steep and relatively narrow (which is typical for historic buildings). My knees are fine, but it’s something to keep in mind. I didn’t use an elevator — it might not be there, or maybe it is, I’m not sure.

Excellent, very central, location. Bright, airy room - we were upgraded to a junior suite... basically a larger room with space for a sofa, which was great. Reception staff were very pleasant, providing dining recommendations - the two we tried were both good. Being English, we like milk in our tea which, I am aware, most Europeans consider very strange. There was no milk in our room, but reception staff very kindly went to the local supermacardo to buy some for us.

Breakfast was included, but was brought up to your room. There was no eating area as such. We didn't take breakfast, so can't comment on what it was like.

We loved everything about the accommodation. The location was in a quiet street but only a few minutes walk to numerous cafes, bars & restaurants. Easy walking to explore all the wonders that are on offer in Ortigia & Syracuse. Never far from the sea. The rooms themselves were spacious, well equipped ( a fridge was a real bonus to keep water cool ) & spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds & linen. Air-conditioning was efficient which was a real blessing in the heat. Last but not least Emanuela & Paolo were so helpful, efficient & friendly. Would absolutely recommend & would love to return.

I was very concerned about the car valet service. Our hire car was returned on day of departure showing signs of unauthorised use. 45 km was added to the mileage The front offside door was covered in mud The rear seats had been folded down without reason. I informed the hotel that we couldn't recommend that customers in future should use the valet parking service offered by the hotel. I hope they have changed suppliers of this service which spoilt the overall experience. I accept the problem was not the direct fault of the hotel

We very much enjoyed our stay and want to specifically thank Emanuela at Reception who was so polite and welcoming and of great assistance which definitely made out stay much more comfortable and pleasant. The reception is reachable via WhatsApp all the time, which was very helpful. We booked a family room with a double bed and a bunk bed as we had our kids aged 5 and 10 with us. They loved the bunk bed and our bed and pillows were also very comfy. There was complimentary water in the room, which was very nice. Very clean overall and plenty of towels as well in the bathroom, as well as some toiletries. The location was perfect, right in the middle of the old town, so all the main attractions are within few minutes walk, yet the place is in a quite street so not noisy at all. We also think the room rate was a very good value for money. The place offers valet parking for €25 which was very useful as they pick up the car right in front of the apartments and return it whenever you want the next day. We were also allowed to pick up the luggage later in the day so we can enjoy as much as we like before we leave town.

For us everything was perfect, but we didn't have suitcases or any big luggage, only carry on backpacks so it was easy to go up and down the stairs, but for people with heavy luggage it will be a bit of a challenge.

A lovely small hotel in an excellent location down a side street very near to some good restaurants & the excellent Dada cafe and a 5 minute walk to the Dumo square and the heart of the Old Town. Comfortable, large room but what made this special was the super helpful & friendly reception staff -particularly Lia, who from the moment we booked to the moment we left, helped us, with bags, booking taxis, suggesting restaurants and trips.

It is a shame there is no out door space and there isn't a lift. ````the coffee machine was hard to work (but then we find that in every hotel so perhaps its us!)

Nicely maintained facility in a very convenient central location with attentive, friendly, helpful, and capable staff. We were traveling with friends, and had two apartments that opened onto a small, private courtyard. Custom-ordered breakfast was delivered to the room every morning, and as the weather was pleasant, we were able to have it in the courtyard. Our first floor room was very quiet. Small, boutique operation with comfortable and relaxing ambiance. Staff can arrange restaurant reservations and book some tours. There is occasional motor scooter passing front, but the facility is not on a busy street. Staff speaks and understands English.

This is not a hotel with 24/7 staffing. There is self-access to the facility when staff is not present. This is not a major drawback, but does require some advance planning for consultation and coordination with the staff.

A very well positioned hotel with all amenities in the room. Perfect for going out for dinner in Ortigia as more-or-less everything is very near-by. Wonderful staff that helped us out with information and handling with the parking valet for us. Thank you Emmanuela.

The hotel is quiet during the night however when guests arrived after their dinner you could not sleep as they could be heard completely. All in all, just a remark and not a big issue.

We were welcomed by a really friendly receptionist Ms Lia, who went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant - she organized taxi from the train station, enabled us to check-in earlier, gave us useful tips of interesting locations on city map, recommended restaurants... During the whole stay, she checked in on us regularly, helped with rent-a-car registration etc. The B&B itself is renovated, clean and fresh, with spacious rooms, good for a longer stay. Location is amazing, in the centre of Ortigia island, within walking distance of many restaurants, bars, city beaches, fish market... Wi-Fi is very good, AC as well. The coffee machine in the room is definitely s big plus, with complimentary coffee being restock daily.

The staff were absolutely amazing - unbelievably helpful and professional. Communication ahead of arriving was excellent. They helped us organise secure parking and checked in on us via message to make sure we were clear on car arrangements, entry codes etc The venue itself is beautiful, simply elegant and relaxing.
