The view from private terrace, the size of the room, breakfast, and especially Laura the host. She is the kindest person we met on our road trip through Sicily. She speaks perfect English and we had wonderful time while talking with her while she was serving us amazing home made products for breakfast. Wish we could stay more than one night. I recommend this place also because she has her own parking which she don’t charge extra what is not to be found in Taormina. The object is just 200 m from Catania gate. Great location.

Laura and her family were beyond welcoming from before our checkin to our checkout. We were treated to an excellent breakfast each morning with home made cake, coffee and croissants (the pistachio was amazing!) at the time of our choosing. We were made to feel at home and welcome and Laura helped us with reservations and recommendations on what to do and she was constantly available for any help we may need. The room was big and comfortable with a big private balcony to enjoy the evenings. Outside the room (so no fridge noise) there was a fridge for us to use and the house came with a lot of different extras (i.e. free water, coffee, tea, salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, etc.) which made it possible for us to have some snacks on the balcony. This is quite different as most other Bed and Breakfasts we stayed at did not offer this. Parking is free and safe on the entrance street leading to the house. It is a short walk and a few stairs to the centre of the city. Probably 10 - 15 minute walk to the cable car station. There is a nice shop close by to get snacks and some specialties. We loved the restaurants in the area as well.

It's in a short walk from the main street. No matter what is your taste in design or decorations - this place has a soul, it is cosy, colorful, joyful and full of memories. It is also very clean. The host is truly warm and helpful person. She sended us photos showing where to park and met us there to show us the way to the aprtement. She gave us local recomendations and tips. Also she made an effort to make my breakfast rich and tasty (gluten-free). Common terrace has absolutely stunning view and has many beautiful flowers.

Amazing home made breakfasts with a fantastic view. We had lots of space. Host is really friendly and helpful.

It is quite hard to find but Laura came to meet us from the car to make sure we found our way. It is a lovely walk to town, but many steep steps.

Laura and her mother were extremly welcoming and nice. They were always available for anything that we needed. We booked a smaller room that had a private bathroom and a balcony with sea view. Breakfast was served on a terrace looking on Etna. There was coffee and other drinks awailable throughout the day. The main corso was a short walk away. Would recommend to anyone.

Laura was an excellent host. She gave us café and restaurant recommendations. Breakfast was excellent with homemade croissants and the balcony had a direct view of Mt Etna.

The place was a little difficult to find as it is in an apartment complex down a long driveway. It’s a little walk into the main town.

We chose Casa Margharita based on the reviews about the host and we were not disappointed.The room is large,clean and comfortable and very well placed to explore the joys of Taormina and the hospitality is the best I have experienced.Laura and her Mama go above and beyond to ensure you enjoy your stay and feel supported.They are fun and teach you lots about the area and the culture.Mama's breakfast is fantastic.Lots of homemade products and again the attention to your needs exceptional.Views from the terrace of Etna are special.You leave with a warm feeling in your heart and a desire to visit again.

Laura was a very lovely host. Clear instructions to get there. Free parking. Room is in a huge apartment but you have privacy. Private bathroom. Very clean. Nice balcony with a wonderful view. Coffee is complimentary. Fridge with water in the room. 12m walk to Porta Catania.

Laura and her mum were very warm and welcoming and immediately made us feel at home. The room was in their home but afforded S much privacy as we needed. it was about 15-20 minute walk to town centre so we could get away from the tourists. from the Val only you can see My Etna. too bad we missed seeing the eruption by just a few days!

it’s a short walk to town which may be an issue for people who are mobility impaired.

Laura and her mom are the sweetest! She came to pick us up at the train station, making sure we had a comfortable trip! the view from the balcony breathtaking and dreamy☺️ the breakfast very fresh and homemade ! we loved the privacy of the room and how clean it was! I highly recommend this place location is 15 min from the center, nice walk before and after lunch/diners
