The room was spacious and had the most amazing view from the terrace. The owner, Domenico was super helpful and provided loads of information about buses, trips and places to go. Domenico provided everything we wanted for breakfast and was very attentive. He also organised for us to be collected and taken to a beach lido, in nearby Letojanni, which was a nice day out of the town. There was parking provided in a very small garage, which Domenico kindly manoeuvred our car into.

I would not say anything we didn’t like, but if we were going to give a 10 rating there are a couple of things that would be desired. Better air conditioning and nicer toiletries in bathroom and softer towels.

Our host, Dominico was a wonderful person. Extremely knowledgeable not just about Taormina but towns and cities close by too. Most attentive and extremely responsive to all our queries. Extremely helpful, packed us a little lunch on the go for our day trip to the Aeolian islands. Also since my wife is Vegan, he went our of his way to purchase & prepare a vegan breakfast every morning. Bonus points to the stunning breakfast room. The property has a private garage to park a scooter/motorbike hence extremely convenient. Absolutely fantastic views from the huge balcony attached to each room of the bay and of Mount Etna too(Which is why we choose this property).

A wonderful place to stay, with a huge terrace and the greatest of views. Domenico was a wonderful host and could not have done more for us. The B & B was spotless and the breakfast wonderful, looking out across the bay or over to Etna, which erupted for us! Free parking in the garage below (Domenico parked for us!). We loved walking up and down into the centre of town and also up to the village towering above, but everywhere is a climb and buses we didn't think were that frequent. Still, one of the very best places we stayed and worth any effort. A really good restaurant a short climb up behind us.

We would have needed an umbrella for the terrace later on in the year as it got so much sun. Not a problem when we ere there and there may be umbrellas, as we didn't ask.

Exceptional host! Always available to answer questions, Domenico was very helpful. He helped us maximize our time in Taormina, especially regarding transportation and food. He booked a taxi for us so we could get to the train station on the day we left. Thanks to him we had a wonderful stay! The room was perfect : it was comfortable, spacious, clean, we had new water bottles everyday, the breakfast was AMAZING and homemade. The view was incredible as well and it was quiet at night. The location was the best. It is high up, so when you want to go shopping or visit the beach, you can easily walk down. There is a bus stop close by so you can reach Villa Sara without having to walk up a bunch of stairs. If we ever come back to Taormina, we will definitely come back to Villa Sara!

We wish we could've stayed longer!

This amazing place is a must to stay when you are in Taormina. The view you have from your room is a dream. The whole atmosphere in the house and the house itself is a gift to enjoy. You don't feel like a tourist, you feel like a family member, Domenico the host is so nice to you and makes it really very confortable for all your needs. With his sence of humour he made the day. The breakfast was served with real love. We really enjoyed our stay and already miss it. If Taormina definetely B&B Villa Sara again.

From the moment we arrived, in fact before we arrived, Domenico went above and beyond to inform, help and advise us during our stay. A wonderful host. The room was large clean and comfortable with stunning views of the ocean and Etna (when the weather cooperated) Great shower, fantastic breakfast with so much choice. Bottled water in the room and a kettle and fridge. A brisk 30 minute walk will take you down to the the bus terminal, a bit longer going up, it's quite a climb, plenty of steps but local buses frequent the route as well. We went low season so mostly the open restaurants were down in the centre. Lots of choice. We would definitely stay here again.

Incredible views of Tormina from our balcony which our large clean room opened up to. We could see the clouds moving across Mount Etna from our bed. Our host Domenico was awesome and provided the best breakfast and information about the town and things that we could see and places where we could eat. These proved to be extremely helpful. Parking was on site and Dom helped park our car for us. Home was about a 10 to 15 minute walk down to town. Walk back took a few minutes longer because it was uphill, but well worth the views as a result. A bus is available if you can't walk, or a cab. A very comfortable, quiet 10/10 stay.

Nothing really.

The host was the best! Nothing was too much trouble. Their attention to detail was fantastic. An example of this was having our air conditioning switched on whilst out to cool the room on our return. Room and bathroom were cleaned every day and we liked the attention to detail by giving us a big bottle of water every 2 days. Domenico was a wealth of information and guided us on places to visit, events happening around Taormina and how you can go about getting to places with local transport. The breakfast was exceptional. So much choice and tailored to our taste. We had an amazing week’s stay at Villa Sara and would not hesitate in returning or recommending it to others.

All was great

My sister and I stayed 3 nights at Villa Sara, and we would rate it 15/10 if we could. The view is spectacular and Domenico is a perfect host who makes you feel like you’re home. He was incredibly helpful, the room was very clean, and the breakfast each morning was lovely. The walk down to town via the stairs is not too far, though we didn’t brave the climb back up (though it’s possible!). The bus or taxi were also both options. Overall, we were beyond happy with our stay and would gladly visit again.

Nothing ☺️

We spent the first three nights of our Sicily trip at Villa Sara and it was the perfect start. The view from the room's own terrace was a dream (Taormina, sea and Etna), the room with high ceilings was very spacious and clean. The owner - Domenico - gave us a warm welcome and gave us good tips for the area and our further journey. Every morning a delicious breakfast awaited us in what I would call the salon. He even got extra lactose-free mozzarella and milk for me :-). On our last day we set off to Etna very early and were personally farewelled with a packed lunch. The location is perfect - between the lively old town and the tranquil Castelmola. We had booked the garage as it was difficult to park on the narrow streets. When we drove out, Domenico always personally directed the traffic for us ;-). We would like to thank you again for our lovely stay and highly recommend Villa Sara. Kind regards Babsi & Daniel
