It was surprisingly clean, and romantic, also they had a turtle in the garden who was a lovely neighbour :) it is important to note that it is very tricky to drive up here and to navigate in the street, if you are not a good driver consider to park on the start of the street!!!

The roof terrace was closed, and it’s a pity that the public electricity poles are in the way of the breathtaking view from the lower balconies. Also the cleaning person turned off the aircondition unit in our room, so when we got home the flat was warm again, and since the unit is facing the bed it was not possible to properly cold the room before sleep.

The hotel has a great view, situated on a hill with a beautiful panorama visible from the balcony. Two chairs are thoughtfully placed on the balcony so you can sit and enjoy the scenery. The room was very clean and well-maintained. I can't say much about transportation options because I arrived on foot from Taormina. There are approximately 540 steps to climb. If you're planning to arrive on foot rather than by car, it's something to keep in mind. After climbing the stairs, you’ll be greeted by a charming church and a stunning city view. From there, the hotel is just a 1–2 minute walk away. The owner provides all the necessary information via Booking.com, which made check-in easy and smooth.

Located in a quiet area of Taormina, as it is at the very top of the city, with an excellent view of the see, the Etna volcano, and the city as soon as you step out of the property. Luminous and clean room with all is needed for a short stay, even with a small desk.

Difficult to reach on foot from Taormina because there are a lot of stairs to go up (near Madonna della Rocca), which is rather tiring especially in the summer. Although it is called "Bed & Breakfast", they do not serve breakfast and there is no interaction with any staff, except for the cleaning lady, which was very nice. I suggest they do not list this property as "bed & breakfast".

The location was exceptional and the views amazing. We were 2 couples travelling together and had 2 rooms opening up to a courtyard which had beautiful 360 degree views. One room even had its own balcony. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone. Shame it was only for 1 night. It was hard leaving.

Nothing really, however, would have been nice to have a couple of wine glasses in the room as we had to drink wine from plastic disposable cups but thoroughly enjoyed the views while doing so. Very minor detail. Just a suggestion for future guests.

B&B U Palmento was great value for the money. Getting into the room was very straightforward when we arrived, and we were able to find parking (free) right in front of the property. The room was spacious and very clean, with amazing views of the bay. We also had access to the terrace which is a beautiful place to have breakfast in if you have the time. It was a nice location between Taormina and Castelmola (which if you get a chance is worth an afternoon/evening visit). Overall, really lovely stay! NOTE: the apartment itself is a bit of hike above Taormina but it’s not too much trouble if you are reasonably fit. Walking down it is like 12 minutes and up maybe 20-25 minutes depending on your pace. We were aware of this when we booked the place. I don’t think this is necessarily a negative but definitely something you should be aware of. Also, there is a bus stop right in front so you can also do that instead of walking up or you can take a taxi if you prefer.

The view, especially of Etna, was great, especially from the lovely patio. The area is quite quiet and there's a nice walkway nearby leading into town, if you're fit, which takes about 20 min. Our host was nice enough to carry our bags up the 3 flights of stairs.

The room was VERY small, to the extent that our twin beds were almost touching. I realize that bidets are very popular in Europe, but they leave little room for toiletries, except balanced precariously on the sink. It would have been nice to have some recommendations as to restaurants, things to do, etc., since there's only one rather expensive restaurant and a bar nearby, with nowhere to have breakfast except in town. Parking also is rather limited, especially when the restaurant is open.

The only disadvantage of the hotel was its rout to the city center. A whole flight of stairs that took us more than 20 minutes to climb up and down. I believe this is a kind of information that the clients should be informed about before arriveal.

The view was amazing! Everything was super clean. To get to the city center you have to go down the steps that take around 20minutes, but so worth to stay in this location. You have an amazing restaurant near the house, with a breathtaking view.

Great location, close to a very good restaurant, good views over Taormina just few steps up the road (at the restaurant), where there are also steps to descend to Taormina center. Responsive host on the day of arrival. Make sure to read the self check in instructions before you get there exhausted in the afternoon heat :D

Its quite a difficult first drive to arrive and park but once you figure it out it gets easier.

The view from the apartment is out of this world!! The location is fine, the free parking is on the street next to the building, but it is quite narrow. The cleanness of the apartment is top!! Also, many-many thanks for the complimentary bottle of cold water.
