Had a fantastic stay in Castelmola. The view from the apartment is definitely the highlight of the place. It was the best view I have ever seen, overseing Taormina and Naxos, the countryside and hills and of course Etna. Worth the price just for this. The room itself is fine and surprisingly modern. Even though abit small and the roof low in the part that goes out to the balcony, so no big issue there I'd say. The AC works nicely and the small fridge is nice to have. Remember to take off the black key from the key ring that gives the room electricity and have it in all the time, otherwise the fridge will turn off when you are out. The family owners are nice, even though the father of the family seems abit cold and agitated at times, but is still helpful with practical things. Secure garage for parking in the shade (extra low cost). Breakfast was nice, however mostly sweet and sugary components, and no choice. They make a nice cup of coffee or two for you which is nice.

I was not informed that the balcony up top was shared by the neighbor room (the biggest deluxe room I think). It was not a big issue as the other guests weren't there much, and the balcony is big and has a bend that sort of gives abit of privacy for both sides. Just think this should be clear when booking. The communication was abit difficult as they know practically no English and I know practically no Italian, but it worked out anyways. The parking in the secure garage was nice, but the extra price was not informed about when booking and the father (owner) told me that it was no other way of parking there, as the street parking was only for residents, as I understood it. I would have payed for it anyways as it was worth it in my case, but this should also be clear in the booking.

Amazing view, comfortable, spacious room and clean all throughout. Hosts try and assist as much as they can! We could stay in the balcony all day and never become tired of the amazing view. Castelmola is a amazing beautiful town to visit and thanks to this Casa Bellavista one can keep on enjoying one of the views from the comfort of your own balcony.

No elevator, but cannot do otherwise due to space restriction, but hosts are willing to help with luggage. All is forgotten once one sees the view from the room.....simply amazing.

The location of Castelmola was breathtaking, so much that we chose to stay in Castelmola for a couple of hours, than visit Taormina. Contact with the host was also very good. We were able to come quite late, around 22/23 on 1.01 and the host welcomed us there - big thank you!!! The breakfast was also very good, with a nice view. We can’t say more as we only spent one night. But we recommend a lot. Also there was space for parking on the street, so we didn’t even need to use the covered parking that this offer includes. But the possibility of covered parking in such place was also a huge plus!

The close proximity to the main touristic streets, but very quiet, even with open balcony. The room and hotel was very clean. Although we stayed only for 2 nights the towels were changed each day. We enjoyed the delicious , just baked croissants for breakfast and the picturesque view on Etna and Taormina’s beaches from restaurant. The town has narrow streets and parking might be the issue for others, but not for the guests of Casa Bellavista, as there is dedicated parking. The air conditioning worked well. The young master speaks English and is very friendly.

The ceilings height can be the issue for taller people. My husband few times bumped his head.

Ocean views from the balcony were fantastic, all family run and they were super friendly, helpful and went out of their way to help plan our stay. We spoke Italian so was very easy to communicate. Had on site secure parking for our rental car. Their location is tucked away from busier areas but you could easily walk to Taromina using the trail downhill.

Rooms were on the very top floor but it was worth the view. There isn’t an elevator.

It was a great choice! Room in the attic with a beautiful balcony. The view of the bay at sunset gave me chills, while the view of Etna bathed in the light of the east was simply amazing! These views took our breath away every day. Parking 10/10, garage so great. We chose a 10 m2 room and it was enough. Beautiful, clean and cleaned every day. Similarly with towels - changed daily. Everything you need is available. The view from the restaurant window is wonderful! And the chef himself is a golden man with a great talent for cooking 😃. Breakfasts are varied and delicious. Hand on heart - we couldn't have made a better choice. Fantastic place, owners and atmosphere. We honestly and wholeheartedly RECOMMEND 💕. Ewelina and Mateusz

Location excellent. A balcony view of the sea and Etna is amazing and unforgettable. Parking place included in the price. Access to Taormina about 30 min walk along the Saracens Path (Sentiero dei Saraceni) - a scenic walk. A bus service between Taormina and Castelmola is also available. Breakfast varied, not only sweet - we received also a delicious omelette. Room was clean, equipped with everything needed for a comfortable short stay. Going up to the 3rd floor was no problem for us. In general, we recommend Castelmola as a better alternative place to stay when visiting Taormina.

The view from the hotel room (with a view of Etna, Taormina and Naxos) For the room where that was applicable at least. The other room had a view of a mountain. And that was no more than that. Parking was to be done in a parking facility at approx. 100m walking from the hotel. Which was OK, because basically it's a small mountain and a lot of people living on that mountain. An interesting experience from logistics point of view.

A sugar-rich breakfast (personal opinion)

Such stunning views from here, in the beautiful little town of CastelMola atop the hill above Taormina. Friendly staff. Very clean and tidy accommodation. Handy parking. Great breakfast and amazingly good evening restaurant meal onsite for little money. Would definitely like to return.

Booked a deluxe double room with mountain view but were given room with no view plus use of a separate balcony.

Great location, beautiful view to Mt Etna, great afternoon deck and clean and tidy room. Lovely breakfast. Parking secure which was awesome. Loved staying in Castlemol. Easy walk down to Taomina but bus back up!

Lol the road up to Castlemol but hey, it is what it is to get to that view. Also pays to leave early to avoid the piazza and street foot traffic.
