I had a fantastic experience staying at this hotel. The location offers breathtaking views of Mount Etna, the sea, and the city – truly unforgettable. Waking up to such a beautiful panorama every morning was a highlight of my trip. What truly made my stay exceptional was the staff. They were extremely helpful, friendly, and always went out of their way to assist with anything I needed. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and professional. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. Great value, top service, and an unbeatable view!

From our large balcony, we could see Taormina and the sea coast as far as Siracusa. We watched Mount Etna, 15 miles away, erupt and spew lava a mile or two down the slope. So beautiful! Staff was friendly and very helpful, recommended restaurants, sights to see. Bus runs from little Castelmolo to Taormina every hour or two. You can hike down steps and trails to Taormina, then take the bus home. (Uphill) Nice breakfast, easy parking. Driving up the mountain is exciting. (So exciting that we parked our car for 4 days. ) Taormina is crowded and pricey. We went to the beach there, wandered there; but returned to peaceful Castelmolo for supper.

This is an absolute MUST to stay in for a well-priced, budget hotel. So much nicer up in the hills in Castelmola than it would have been in the crowds of Taormina, and the walk down, and up again, to Taormina was beautiful. The family run hotel was just a pleasure to stay in, with wonderful hosts who were so sweet and helpful. It's a simple room and simple breakfast, but all you need really, and the view from our room, of the coast and Mt Etna - WOW! You have to park down the road, but there is plenty of space to pull up outside the hotel and unload, and then they will show you where to go - easy.

Would have been nice to have a kettle in room, and a couple of glasses. But the hosts were happy to make us coffee that we could take up.

THE VIEW IS STUNNING. Opening the door of the balcony and going outside is just breathtaking. The height and the Etna view is incredible. We stayed here 2 nights and we loved it. The place is very clean, the staff is extremely kind and nice. Breakfast is cute and sweet. The area is quiet and calm. We prefered the view and the small town here rather than the noisy and busy Taormina. We will be back for sure. + we got parking in a private parking close to the hotel. The host helped us and I got a ride with the scooter, from the parking to the hotel, loved it. Thank you very much.

Amazing location! The views were just breathtaking, both from our room and the breakfast room. The staff were lovely, really kind and welcoming, as were the people in town. Breakfast was nice, consisting of coffee, fruit juice, and a fresh croissant filled either with chocolate or jam. The property was clean and tidy and perfect for us as we spend most of our time away out exploring so we don't need anything fancy. There is no TV but for us this is good, we never use them when we go away and the view is far superior to anything on a TV in my opinion. There is a restaurant next door and little supermarket over the road as well as the centre of Castlemola being a 2 minute walk away. We decided to walk to the hotel from the train station, it's a beautiful hike but NOT one to be taken lightly, VERY steep and hard going so you might want to consider the bus, they run quite often and the hotel has a timetable too. We loved our stay here and would happily return and recommend to others.

There was nothing we didn't like. If I had to be really picky it would be that the bed was quite firm and the lack of options for breakfast, I'm not a sweet lover, but that's how i have found a lot of places in Italy and its in no way a criticism, just my own preference.

As easily can be seen by pictures, the view is just stunning. The communication was quick and easy (especially about parking and ZTL) and the parking procedure also was easy. We stopped on the location and were guided to the parking spot which is a few minutes walk away. This was very well. Breakfast also was sufficient for us and very good - but depends always on expectations, we were very happy. The rooms indeed were slightly "old" but served its purpose and we slept very well after all. Considering the location its a very good "price-value" ratio and I'd come back again.

It is not a real "negative" but the light switch from the bathroom had a loud relays, so that it sounded like somebody rung a doorbell every time it was switched. We found a workaround and were not disturbed, but was kind of funny. But again, this is no negative, but just an observation we easily dealt with. Another note is that there are some stairs to do considering luggage.

The location is incredible - much better than Taormina, which is super crowded. The view over Etna and the surroundings is absolutely unbelievable.

Breakfast is very modest: a brioche bread with some jams, butter, nutella, coffee and juice. The walls of the hotel are very thin so you can hear everything going on around you. The room was aesthetically uninviting. Also hotel owner was quite unfriendly to us.

This is a 2 star hotel, so don’t expect 5 star comfort. There’s no wifi in the rooms. Only in the lobby. Breakfast is basic. A croissant (big though), a glass of juice, toast and coffee. The reason why you go here and will return over and over again is the views. Open the door to your balcony and you have the best 5 star view of Etna in Taormina and vicinities. The staff is lovely. Additionally Castelmola will get you a bit of the crowds in Taormina itself. Panorama di Sicilia is the place to stay.

The beds weren’t the comfiest, but still had a good sleep

The view from our room and balcony was spectacular. The room catered to all needs and was very clean and comfortable. The view from the breakfast area was also spectacular. The location of the Hotel Panorama di Sicilia was excellent and very close to the pickup point of all the tours we took.

We liked everything about our stay, if I have to be very critical, the breakfast could have been better, but it was really not a problem,
