Our stay at B&B Greco Home was the highlight of our trip to Sicily. The host, Louisa, is so warm and welcoming, and provided us with all the information we needed to ensure we made the most out of our 3 night stay. The B&B is a very lovely short stroll to the main road (Corso Umberto), and yet very quiet with beautiful views. Louisa also went above and beyond to accomodate our dietary requirements (vegan) for breakfast and was so generous with the amazing options she provided. So much better than any other B&B we have stayed at in Italy which is usually just a croissant and juice or a coffee. Louisa’s breakfasts were the perfect way to start each day. She makes the best coffee! The room was immaculate, the bed was the most comfortable we have slept in while in Italy (most mattresses we have found are too firm, but not this one), and we loved the roller shutters on the windows to ensure the room was dark and quiet for a fantastic sleep. This B&B is the best - I wish I could give it more than 10! Book here you will not regret it.

This was no problem for us but there are stairs up to the property from the road. Louisa provides this information ahead of time, but if you are driving a car make sure you hire a small vehicle as the streets in and out of Taormina are very small! But in saying that we found driving to be very manageable. While staying in Taormina we didn’t not use our car (it stayed parked the whole time) as everything is walkable.

The Greco home is in the Greco family for five generations, so the hostess, Luisa, knows all there is to know about the lovely town of Taormina. It is walking distance to many fabulous attractions such as the Greco-Roman Theatre, Isola Bella, and it is also a good jumping off point for an Etna day trip. The room was extremely well appointed and security was excellent (three keyed entry points, so you really feel safe). The breakfast included options of savory (eggs, prosciutto) and sweet (Sicilian pastries from a famous bakery just a couple blocks away). Breakfast is served on a 3rd floor terrace which overlooks the town. Swallows and other birds flitter to and fro as you enjoy your delicious meal. Luisa also makes a parking space available to guests who drive to Taormina (super convenient). After completion of your stay, you will feel as though you have family in Taormina. Can’t wait to return.

This B&B and the owner offer an unforgettable experience. A quick 5-minute walk from the center of Taormina, the location was perfect with easy and quick access to the main part of town, the funicular to the beach and to the terminal bus station. Luisa represents professionalism, high quality customer service and assistance with everything you can imagine from recommendations for sightseeing, restaurants and shops. She will tailor fit a delicious breakfast for you as she makes sure you get what you truly want. The facility was spotless, super clean and organized, decorated with such attention to detail. The bed and the pillows were extremely comfortable. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning. Luisa renovated every space of this beautiful home which her father built years ago.

Perfect location, amazing host Luisa helped us with any and everything. delicious breakfast on a gorgeous terrace. Luisa is the absolute best host! She gave us every local recommendation we needed, she communicated promptly, and she is the warmest person we met. Her property is extremely clean, the room has everything you need, it is large and comfortable and super cute and charming. She provides breakfast every morning on a large beautiful terrace overlooking Taormina and the setting is stunning. Her breakfasts are homemade to order and it was the highlight of the day. We loved starting our day chatting with her. Her place is a 5 minute walk from Corso Umberto and all the central places, including the bus stop which took us to the beach and Castelmola, as well as the parking lot for our car. Such a quiet location but so central. We will be back! We love you Luisa!

We had an amazing time here! Greco House is located in a quiet area of Taormina, yet it's just a few minutes from the historic center. The accommodation is beautiful and cozy, and Luisa is a wonderful host—she gave us many great tips about the area and was always ready to help with anything we needed. She also serves a lovely breakfast on the terrace, which offers a stunning view of Taormina. We only wish we could have spent more nights in this beautiful place! :) Paula & Branislav

We loved everything about B & B Greco Home and feel lucky to have to have found it. We had great contact with Louisa before we arrived and after texting her when we were leaving the car park, she met us upon arrival and her son Antonio carrier our cases up to the room. It is just less than 10 minute walk to the Main Street that is obviously packed with shops and restaurants, bars and people and whilst lovely to walk around and soak up the atmosphere, it’s also lovely to have a short 5-10 mins pleasant walk where you do not have too many people, ie but close enough to just walk from the Main Street in less than 10 mins . The location of the property is fabulous with the sun on our balcony from as soon as we work up until early evening.. the large beautiful terrace where breakfast is served is also a lovely asset to this property. The hospitality from Louisa who is a lovely person and is also an excellent host, she really welcomes you into her home and takes lots of pride in it . The house has a wonderful history being built by her father too and benefits from having a prime position. We would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Taormina and would definitely recommend it. The parking at Lumbi parking is an easy system with constant shuttle buses and you would but want to drive around the narrow chaotic one way system anyway, you can pay for the parking on your card and it’s an easy hassle free process . We parked one day left the car there over night and it’s was eur23 (£19) on bank when we exited the following day, we walked down the steps right near the B & B to the car park on our way out one day , but you definitely wouldn’t want to do that with luggage . I would definitely recommend it here and hope to see Louisa again one day in the future.

BnB Greco is the perfect accommodation for a relaxing and comfortable stay in Taormina. Luisa is a delightful host who went out of her way to make our holiday so enjoyable, nothing was too much trouble and her help with restaurant recommendations, activities and assistance with bookings made everything easy and seamless for us. Breakfast is delicious and abundant. We would highly recommend BnB Greco for your stay in Taormina.

Our host Luisa was so incredibly gracious and hospitable. When we arrived we had large bags so she had her son carry them for us to the room. The property has her personal artistic touch everywhere. It is extremely clean and has everything you could ask for. Luisa made the most delicious breakfast every morning for us and served it on her terrace overlooking the city. She takes great pride in her home and is very passionate about taking care of her guests. One day I had a bad cough so she delivered lemon water and fruit salad from her garden . Very thoughtful.

Beautiful room with excellent ensuite bathroom and a lovely little balcony for afternoon drinks. Our hostess Luisa is a delightful lady who is helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly. She supplied the best breakfasts of our trip on a lovely terrace with stunning views. We cannot speak highly enough of her. The location of Greco B&B is interesting, about a 10-15 minute walk from the bus terminus. While it was not right in the centre of Taormina, it was still close but away from the congestion of the town centre. We also liked the ‘local’ charm of our accommodation. In our 3 days we were able to experience many of the charms of Taormina including the cable car to Isola Bella, the bus to Castello Mola, cocktails on the terrace at Hotel Timeo with the best views of Mt. Etna and an energising climb to the church of Madonna della Rocca. The rooftop terrace at bar Turisi in Castell Mola is a point of interest and a must see. Many thanks Taormina and Luisa.

The perfect honeymoon stay for us in Taormina, tucked away but within close walking distance from busy Taormina centre. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and well sized, the bed was incredibly comfortable. Luisa made us feel so welcome and you can tell she hosts with passion. We will remember her breakfasts on the terrace, and the fantastic recommendations she gave us to local sites. Grazie Luisa!
