I travelled to Sicily solo and did not know what to expect. The host Andrea picked me up on his tuk tuk which was a very nice touch. When I entered the room I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and well made it was. Breakfast for the next day was already ready, with many choices and plenty of food. This included water, sparkling water, juices, coffee and so on. Room was cleaned on daily basis. The property is located a short walk from the centre full of nice bars and restaurants. Andrea was very helpful from the beginning, provided me with all highlights and any information I needed. He was always approachable and happy to help or answer any questions I had. The property and Taormina overall is a beautiful and safe place. I would highly recommend this property to solo travellers as well as couples. Having breakfast or a cup of coffee overlooking the city with as well as sea view was just spectacular. If I was to return, National Gallery B&B would be the place! Thank you Andrea 🙂👌

Everything was just perfect

Everything about our stay at Andre's place was just perfect. We got a parking place, which was very close and convenient. The host was available and very nice. We were surprised about the amount of food left for us in the fridge! Coffee machine and kettle and even milk foamer was in our room, as well as a toaster. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom spacious and clean. The view was just breathtaking. If we are ever back to Taormina we will definitely stay here again.

This property has the most breathtaking view across the sea and sweeping round to the historic centre of Taormina. The room itself was very well designed and every detail planned well, especially the provision of a full-sized fridge stocked with a good variety of fare for breakfast. Andrea is a great host - he could not have been more helpful and responded instantly to communications. Although we had a car, he was kind enough to run us into the centre in his tuk tuk (an exhilarating ride!) and even pick us up again later, especially when he heard that a taxi had cost us €15. Taormina in the evening is a bustle of activity with every option for food and drink and plenty of opportunity for people-watching. We especially enjoyed the Villa Communale. We toured the area a bit by car, and would highly recommend visiting the Alcantara gorge (wade up a river with huge and varied basalt columns on either side) and a day on Isola Bella beach (worth paying for a lounger).

We wouldn’t recommend this property (or indeed Taormina generally) for those with mobility problems - the distances are small, but the inclines are great! The memory foam bed was not to our taste, but not a big deal.

The room was clean and had a nice bathroom. There was a small fridge that was stocked for us to have breakfast as well as cereal and other snacks. There was a great selection of coffee and cappuccino too. The bathroom was nice and the shower had great pressure. Andrea was great as well and sent a video with directions to find the accommodations which was extremely helpful. Once we were there he moved his vehicle so we could park in front of the accommodations and he even parked it for us.

The room was small and a bit cramped. Also, it was a bit of a walk to the town which was challenging since I was dealing with sciatica. For those with no walking issues the walk should not be a problem. I was still able to do it, just slower than most people.

It was a little tricky winding up the narrow Taormina roads to get to this accommodation, but once there, my husband and I could easily walk everywhere, and my older parents were driven by Andre in the racy red tuk tuk. Traveling with older parents, it was also nice to find that all the rooms were on a single level (after so many surprise stairs in Italy!). The rooms were actually better than I expected from the photos--very clean, very comfortable, very stylish with artist themes. Andre was very helpful with recommendations and answering questions.

No complaints at all. I wish my Italian was better to communicate more thoroughly with Andre, but with his English, and Google Translate, we did well. :)

Perfect for us with a very helpful and friendly host. Spacious bedroom and excellent bathroom. Terrace overlooking the sea with a short walk to the town centre. Would recommend. The host provided a lot of information on the best things to see and do locally.

Took a little while to find because the streets are quite narrow and hilly, but the host sent a very helpful video beforehand which was very helpful. However, it was an ideal location to stay in to visit Taormina.

The place was modern; the bathroom and shower were clean and great water pressure. The view from the room and terrace was fantastic. The bed was memory foam and comfortable. The location was close to the central tourist area but was quiet. Our host Andrea was very helpful. He helped us park our car and with our laundry. TV had Netflix and there was a coffee maker and refrigerator in room. I would highly recommend this place.

Everything was great

This property is more than you can ask for during your stay! It is very clean, cozy and modern, you can have breakfast at any moment since it’s in your fridge,how cool is that?! Also, we appreciated a lot the espresso machine and the Smart TV with Netflix account included. Not to mention the great view, please see the picture attached! The host offered to take us in the center, much appreciated! If we will come back, definitely we will choose the same place 😀

Nothing

The room was super comfortable with a nice view and the breakfast had a variety of choices both sweet and savory. The B&B is a 15 mins walk from city center and in a very quiet neighborhood so win/win. Most importantly : Andrea was an incredible host, he was THE BEST part of our stay. So generous, nice and helpful. I would recommend National Gallery only because of him. He was always ready to take us wherever with his little shuttle (tuktuk), we honestly felt we overstepped for how many times we asked but he INSISTED every time to drop or pick us up. So Andrea, thank YOU so much for our incredible stay in Taormina and suggesting the best places to visit and dine.

Everything was perfect

The host Andrea is the best. He gave us a ride to the restaurant on the first night when we arrived at 9pm. He also drove us to the bus station when we left Taormina with his cute Tuk Tuk. He gave us excellent recommendations on restaurants and we just followed all his recommendations:). We had a great time in Taormina largely due to we had the wonderful host. His apartment is super clean and it has everything we need.
