This is a magnificent and charming old villa, filled with antiques and surrounded by a spacious garden. It is lovingly managed by a delightful elderly couple, Agatha and Salvatore, who take care of every detail with warmth and grace. Our room was clean and featured a large terrace overlooking Mount Etna. As noted in other reviews, you can hear some noise from the nearby highway toll station, but it did not detract from our overall enjoyment of the experience. There isn’t much to see in the immediate vicinity, as the villa is located in a rather plain residential neighborhood. However, it's just a short drive to the sea and beachfront restaurants, about 15 minutes from Taormina, and around 45 minutes from both Catania and Mount Etna. All in all, it’s a strategically located base for exploring the region.

Agata and Salvatore were incredibly welcoming and attentive. I truly appreciate their efforts to accommodate my needs during my stay. The villa exceeded all my expectations, and the room was exactly what I was looking for. The location is about a 15-20 minute walk from the beach, which was almost perfect for me, though it's worth noting that I wasn't traveling by car. The terrace of my room offered a view of Etna, although it does face the road. Thankfully, it was never too loud in the mornings or at night, so noise was never an issue. Salvatore’s breakfasts were fantastic—plenty of food to keep me energized through the afternoon. This was my first time in Sicily, and I know where I'll stay next time I visit.

I came with my mother and we loved it ! If you are in For a charming Italian villa hosted by 2 lovely people - this is it. You have the feeling you stay in a museum. Everywhere you look is beautiful art, pottery, beautiful Italian furniture … a spacious terrace with so many beautiful plants to look at. Here is where you have breakfast.. Salvatore and Agatha will spoil you every morning with the best breakfast. Also they helped us with a pickup from the close by bus station which was very lovely. We will come back here for sure. Bernadetta and Salvatore were very welcoming hosts (nb. they speak very little English, but we speak even less Italian and we got by!) Our room was spotless, very spacious and had a huge private terrace looking out over Mt Etna. Secure private parking (a car is necessary if staying here), and good WiFi connection. The garden / terrace was a really wonderful spot for breakfast each day. Breakfast varied daily, but always included juice, some fresh fruit, Sicilian pastries / cakes, and home-made bruschetta. There was no choice of dishes, so perhaps not one for fussier eaters, but we were happy!

Our hosts, Agatha and Salvatore, were extremely hospitable and the breakfasts, lots of small plates of savoury and sweet dishes, plus fruit, were superb. The house has large, beautifully decorated rooms throughout, kept very clean and polished. The garden and loggia have plenty of places to sit, and, being on a small hill, the views are lovely, including of Mt Etna, snow-capped on our final day. With only 5 guest rooms, the atmosphere at breakfast was very friendly despite several different nationalities and languages!

We had a wonderful stay, the house is rather a museum than a B&B, full of beautiful pieces of art, so impressive and tasteful. Outdoor is also iconic with an astonishing terrasse full of cactus and hundreds of other plants with a perfect view over Etna. Handmade breakfast is generous and different every day. The owners are so welcoming that they will make you feel at home while providing you with all the necessary information about your trip in the area. We spent 4 nights but could have stay more!

The place actually feels like a museum. It is an old mansion with huge rooms filled (literally, we've never seen anything like it :) ) with MANY artistic decorations and different curious subjects. The place is well maintained and really clean, the wifi was fast and worked really well. The host were super nice and welcoming, they prepare nice home made breakfast every morning for their guests. We stayed for 2 nights and were leaving too early to have proper breakfast on the second day so we received a picnic bag with breakfast instead which was full of food!

The view of Mt Etna from our balcony was stunning. Salvatore and Agathe were very attentive to all our needs and personally served a wonderful breakfast. The room and whole villa were tastefully decorated and there was daily servicing. It was conveniently located for our trip to Etna and about twenty minutes to Taormina. Free parking is a bonus. The gardens and history add to the charm of this bed and breakfast.

If stairs are a problem for you, be aware that there are steep steps without a handrail.

The villa had secure parking which was a bonus in a town with limited parking. The owners were most hospitable and keen to ensure you enjoyed your stay. The villa was very different, the very opposite of today's normal minimalist accommodation. The room was comfortable and a good size for three people. Breakfast was served on a terrace with views over to Etna. The breakfast was generous with typical Sicilian offerings. It was only a 15 minute walk to the centre of town with its lively promenade and restaurants.

Beautiful villa. Our room with a balcony looked towards Mt Etna. Most comfortable bed we slept in in all of Sicily! Mr Salvatore and his wife are sweet. I enjoyed hearing the animals (not on their property) and the church bells. Its a bit of a walk to the center of town and the beach, Lovely and interesting antiques and paintings. oo
