Excellent location, nice breakfast and comfy.

It is on the third floor, my wife and I both over age of 75 ,thanks to David who helped us with the luggage to our room. For young and fit people go for it ,Exellent choice,but if you aske me would I book it again, I would say no, because I am not fit enough to tackle 77step. sorry David !!!!!!!!!

Excellent location in the city center. A major advantage is the availability of parking in the garage. The owner was very helpful and accommodating. The homemade breakfast was excellent. A warm atmosphere with the opportunity to meet interesting fellow guests. The price was very reasonable—unbeatable for this location.

It’s worth noting that the accommodation consists of three rooms within one apartment. We had a room with a private bathroom. The apartment is located on the third floor with no elevator. The rooms are not very soundproof, but it was quiet, so we had no issues. These are not negatives, just facts that might not suit everyone. For us, it wasn’t a problem. The advantages and the price more than made up for it.

The B&B was very near the main city attractions and there were many options for cafes & restaurants in the area. The room and the bathroom were spacious with all the necessities. There was a small kitchen/breakfast room equipped with a refrigerator, coffee machine, etc. There was also a parking space in the the same building that the owner kindly let me leave my car for a few hours after checking-in out. The owner was very helpful and waiting patiently for me to check-in a few hour after my scheduled arrival.

There was a very strong smell in the bathroom probably due the oldness of the building and the plumbing. I do not know if there is a permanent problem or it just happened during the three days a spent there, as it was going away after using the shower.

The B&B is located in a larger flat in an old house directly in the center of the city. There a only several meters to walk to the central places and to San Giusto. We had a nice room with a relatively large bath. The centralized kitchen with a nice balcony is used for breakfast and as common room to talk to other guests. The whole B&B is furnitured antique and give the rooms a special style. The breakfast was prepared directly by the owners. We liked especially the coffee. The breakfast was larger than common in Italy. The owners of the B&B handles the accomodation very personally. We got nice recommendations for interesting sights and restaurants.

We had no real complaints. The street at night is sometimes very noisy and prevents us to sleep with open windows.

Davide and Federica are very friendly and helpful hosts; it's like being part of the family. Sitting on the balcony for breakfast was delightful. Breakfast is substantial continental, and Davide makes the best coffee. He will also carry your bags up the 73 steps to the apartment - and down when you leave! Grazie mille! 🙂 The location is ideal for cafes, restaurants, the waterfront and main historical sites. Do make the effort to go to Miramare Castle and grounds on the #6 bus from the bus station; the view across the Gulf of Trieste is beautiful.

Host was great, very helpful and friendly. He provided us with garage spot in his garage which was the most important considering that we were practically in the city center. He also helped us carry our bags upstairs and downstairs. Breakfast was nice and lovely. He made us good coffee in the morning.

That we shared same apartment with other guests. Sometimes when they entered apartment, we could hear them talk quite loud. Not a deal breaker, though.. All this is compensated with good host and good location of this place.

The hosts are very personable. We enjoyed our morning conversations. The building is historic-one really gets the feel from the old city- accommodation come with the comfort of modern conveniences

Not that I didn’t mind and great exercise, note one does have to go up 3 large flights of stairs.

This B&B is located in the heart of the Old City, which makes it perfect for couples who want to explore the romantic side of Trieste. It's near the San Giusto cathedral on one side and Piazza dell'Unita on the other, and roaming around those two, you can find many charming shops, cafes, trattorias, and osterias. The room was spacious and comfortable, and so was the bed, and the bathroom was clean and tidy. We had an Italian breakfast with various sweet pastries, fruit yogurts, juices, and fantastic coffee. However, the owner did offer to make it more continental if we were up for it. But the best thing about this accommodation was Davide, his wife, and his mom, who were super friendly and helpful. One notion: the apartment is on the third floor of the building without the elevator, so bear that in mind when booking if you have any walking impairment.

Location is perfect for exploring the city and if coming by car you have free parking space in garage.

Breakfast was modest. The entire space is one big apartment which was not expected. It was like time machine....since it is all as original Trieste flat. The positive point is that the host is so welcoming, so assistive that you forget everything.....

Host was exceptional, warm, friendly, helpful and accommodating. She took time to help us address parking issues and provided good recommendations for where to go and what to see around the city which was super helpful since we were only there for the one night. Room has classic style and charm and feels very secure. We were very happy to find safe, secure, inside parking so close to the city center.

Classic style can feel a bit dated or that it may need some updates.
