Nothing was too much for the owners. They were lovely people. although on the main road, very quiet and top security in building. Not that you need it in Trieste, perfect location to transport, ferries, trains , buses, and attractions. We took the bus straight to the beach and castle. Although you can walk if you enjoy hiking and perfect for cycling. Great walk in to the main square to canalsThe rooms were traditional Italian style, spacious with touches of gold. The beds are soooo comfortable. Breakfast was amazing with choices, and I loved the coffee and crossaint. Fruits were so good also. It felt homely.

Perfecto ! Liked · The breakfast was perfect! The owner and his lovely wife went out of their way to please us. A warm homemade croissant was served to every visitor who entered the kitchen. I also looked forward to our breakfasts because the meal was served in a cute kitchen decorated with Italian tablecloths and regional decor. Our the bedroom was lovely:. It was bright, and very clean with lace curtains. The sizable bathroom was newly remodeled. I can not describe in words how kind and hospitable the owner and his wife were to us. I would love to take them back to the States, but since this is not possible, I will just have to revisit them again. Ann

This is a very clean, well equipped and located B&B with nice room and good size bathroom on the 1th floor. The bed is very comfortable and the pressure of hot-cold vater is super. Breakfast is very good with excellante real italien Coffee! The owner, Pietro, with his wife, an exceptional Host. He is very friendly, kind, helpful, attentive. By the way, the train station is 10 minutes, grand canale, city centre 15-20 m. The bus stop to the beach Barcola and Miramare castle is just around the corner. Absolutely valuta for money.

Sincs the building of B&B is next to the main road, can be noisy at night with Windows open. By closed Windows you hear nothing.

Pietro and his family are very accommodating host who try their very best to ensure that each guest is looked after. The rooms are spotless with excellent showers etc. The breakfast buffet (actually in the kitchen) is something to behold. Additionally there is an excellent local trattoria underneath and just down the road (towards the station) Legends - a great place to eat.

This is NOT a criticism, but the location is close to, and beyond, the railway station. While this was fine by me, it is not a city centre spot.

I absolutely loved this place. It is so well maintained and the owner clearly has a lot of pride in it! Rightly so! They should charge more money for it, I was amazed. The breakfast was amazing too. I had a really awful day in Piran before I stayed here, so was really glad I stayed here. Thank you Peter! 👊🙂

The only down side was the air conditioning turned off after 10pm, but thankfully the building maintains a lot of its chill because it is so old. It was a bit hot at 6am so I messaged the manager and he dealt with it.

The hosts Pietro and Radica were friendly and helpful and made me feel very welcome. My room was spacious, comfortable and nicely appointed, and very clean. The breakfast was plentiful - a good selection of items. The B&B is located a short distance from the bus/train stations and within easy walking distance to the city centre.

The breakfast was excellent full range of food available the service was outstanding the name Golden is a standard of excellence that they live up to in every area. Truly one of the best hosts Booking could ever have Unbelievable how good everything was for our visit Location was perfect from the cruise ship port only about 1.2 km

We would have liked to spend more time there but we had other commitments What we didn’t like is that it had to end.

Our room was very spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. Towels were refreshed every other day. Our hosts were so friendly and welcoming. The location was close enough to the city center that we just walked to town. Bus stops, bus station, train station & grocery stores were very nearby. It was so handy to wake up and enjoy the lovely breakfast from the array of fresh fruits, cheeses, meats, breads & pastries provided us each morning! We had all we could eat - and more in the inviting dining space! Would stay here again if we ever get back to Trieste.

Can't think of anything that would keep us from staying here again!

Golden Rooms B&B is a truly special place. The hosts are very kind. They make you feel at home from the moment you walk in. They pay attention to every small detail and make sure that you have everything you need. The room itself is very clean and spacious. There is a lot of room to move around and to relax. The style of the place is very warm and inviting. You will feel comfortable and welcomed as soon as you see it. And let's talk about breakfast! It is really good and there is a lot to choose from.
