The bathroom was very large, even bigger than the room, which was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast was excellent, with high-quality food and drinks. It’s fair to say that the breakfast alone makes up a good part of the hotel’s value. I also recommend this hotel for its quiet atmosphere and its convenient location close to the city center.

However, it does not have its own parking, and guests need to use a paid parking nearby. This was a bit inconvenient.

No fabric softener or other harmful chemicals used! Pleasant, clean, functional room and en suite bathroom in an older hotel. Great location. The staff person at reception when we arrived was friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast.

The elevator doesn’t line up with the hotel floors so some stairs must be climbed, although the hotel does have a stair climber for anyone who requires it.

Great, clean hotel in the centre, night reception. We arrived almost at midnight, spontaneously, after a +10 long trip with a cat. It's easy to find, fast check-in, clean room with air conditioning, no noise from the streeats. Bed was really comfortable. Good breakfast.

No large towels in the bathroom. Although it says parking is available, it is available in a nearby garage for 14 euros. If you are located on the 4th floor near the stairs, expect the noise of the door slamming in the breakfast room on the 5th floor in the morning (from 7 am).

Excellent location, easy access to the city center and very close to Trieste Centrale train station (5 min walk). Bus stop right in front of the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff, they allowed us to leave our luggage in the lobby until the afternoon. Although it is located in a fairly old building, the hotel is clean and nice decorated. The twin room was spacious. Although were facing the busy main street, the windows are well insulated to sleep well. Fair price vs quality.

Since we stayed at the beginning of March, it was a bit cold in the room. The heating is only available in the ceiling and when it is on, it makes a loud noise and an unpleasant smell. There is also no heating in the bathroom and it was quite cold. It wasn't necessarily a bad thing, but it would have been nice to have a little warmer in the room.

Quiet. Modern. Secure. Good location near the main railway station but also easy to get to the heart of the city eg. Piazza della Unità in 6-7mins walking. Also excellent for Porto Vecchio which is worth exploring. Well appointed apartment across the street from the main hotel with en suite kitchen which I used only to make coffee, use fridge etc. I could have cooked if I’d wanted to. Excellent bathroom with whirlpool bath an unexpected bonus! Daily housekeeping.

I found the wifi a little difficult to keep connected and also a little slow. Perhaps they could explore a new connection method?

The room we were was very nice, big, nice bed, second pillow of different size was available as well. The location was very handy, just 3 minutes walking to the train/ bus station, which is very good to come and go from the airport which is not close by Trieste. Also in front of the hotel there is the bus stop to go to Miramare castle which is not close by city center so you will need that as well. The hotel is however in city centre close to all attractions and amenities.

I recommend to change the air driers, which is just a little tip not a big deal but will be more handy for guests with long air to have something bit more powerful.

The hotel is in an excellent position, just a few minutes from the train station and at 10~15 minute walking distance from the town centre. Bus stops to go either in town or towards Miramare are just in front of the hotel. The room was spacious and clean, and the staff at the reception was very helpful. Quite important for me, since I usually arrive in Trieste with a late-evening train, is the fact that they have a 24-hour front desk, and a more customer-friendly cancellation policy than most hotels in Trieste.

The food choices at breakfast could be improved, but they are OK for a hotel in this price range.

A nice older style hotel, located just near the railway station. Good breakfast and very polite staff.

The room was a little small, but perfectly comfortable.

The room was perfect. The Breakfast included in our package offered a complete selection of hot, cold and "sweets". A dream for any traveller. The coffee and teas were top notch as well. Dinner was reasonably priced and met our expectations. The entire hotel staff was amazing!

Our 5 day stay was good, except for the only downside was that to get to "downtown" Rome required a 30 euro cab ride (each way), or a 15 minute walk along the highway, through the park to get to the train station. The 7 euro cost for the train ticket was worth it, but watch out for the pickpockets in the crowded stations. Other than that, it is the perfect Hotel for someone flying in for a short stay or overnight if you're going to Civitavecchia to catch a cruise ship.
