The location was excellent, just 10 minute stroll from the main square and right beside the Train and Bus station. The room was exceptional and had everything a traveller would require. The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and very clean and the added luxury of a bath. Breakfast was delicious with lots of fresh food and nothing was too much trouble for our lovely host.

Absolutely nothing, my husband and I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast run by a very friendly host in the wonderful City of Tireste.

Location is near the train station with parking area and at walking distance from the city center. The room was very elegant decorated, spacious, clean and has everything you need. But most important was host Elena’s wonderful presence. She prepared a great breakfast with lots of choices to pick, and perfect attention for every detail, served in a spacious dining/living room. Next to that she provided great insight tips for outings, beaches and restaurants.

Where do I start with the things that I like about this place? The location is excellent just outside the train station, therefore, one of the best connected points in the city for public transport to everywhere you might want to go (and Trieste seems to have a wonderful public transport system compared to many other cities I have been to). When you walk in, you are greeted with a wonderful scent of a clean house. The room is clean, tidy and an extra comment has to be added for the wonderful selection of guides to the city, which I found extremely useful. Leaving the best for the last, the excellent spread laid out for breakfast by the host and a wonderful conversation with her to top off this brief but lovely stay in Trieste. I will be back!

Everything!!! She was a wonderful, kind, and helpful host. I was given some recommendations to maximize my short time in the city. As for the place, you really have everything you need in terms of amenities, a lovely and spacious room, a great breakfast, and a centric location. The pictures are spot on, though I'd go further by saying it is way better than it looks.

Elena is a great host, considerate and accommodating, her B&B is stylishly furnished with just enough cute details, very clean and well equipped . Breakfast she served was a piece of art. Appartmant is in a nice building within a walking distance from the city center. She also gave us a few tips on how to use the best from Trieste and thus spend this few days enjoying the Dolce Vita with all our senses.

The owner, Elena, is the most hospitable person we met during our travel. The room was elegantly decorated and very clean...it makes you feel guilty using it. Same with the breakfast room; very classy like the owner. The location is just a few minutes away from the train station. It is also walking distance to the cruise terminal if you don't have a heavy luggage.

Difficult to locate if you look for the name (no sign like hotels). You have to use the address. The elevator going up is very small that only two people will fit if you have luggage with you.

Not certainly a bad thing, per se, but probably good to know The scent (good parfume, really), was quite strong in the room. People more sensitive to smells and perfume could find this almost overwhelming

Elena is a wonderful host. The B&B is located just two minutes from the train station and the bus station, which makes it a wonderful location. And everything was very clean, with many interesting design elements. The B&B is accessible by elevator, which is helpful. Breakfast is exceptional. Note that there is no access to common facilities - you have your bedroom to relax in, which is fully furnished and comfortable . Bus access either into town or out to the Miramar castle is easy, although it is also a short walk into town along with seafront. We stayed for two nights, and would happily come back again.

Beautifuly renovated apartment with two rooms she rents out for the night. Rooms are nicely decorated with a modern bathroom and great for people who don't mind the street noise. Unfortunately no common areas, all was private. Only for breakfast in the living room, which was great! I got some good tips from the host to spend the day, very helpful! Also checkin was uncomplicated (self-checkin) and baggage storage on last day went perfectly.

Located just aside to a busy raod with buses, it was very noisy during the night. Due to the old building one can hear car, buses and even the people from the streets (sometimes the house even vibrated, although the host said this was temporary). For me with light sleep that was uncomfortable.

Delightfully surprised. First place I’ve ever stayed that is nicer in person than it is in the pictures. The apartment is tastefully and artistically appointed, with many unexpected extras. Elena communicated promptly and clearly, and graciously accommodated our special requests and needs. We were able to arrange to drop off our luggage, due to our early arrival. Breakfast was left for us the night before, due to our early departure the next day, and was lovely. The space was quiet and comfortable.

Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. On this trip, Trieste was a stop on the way to another destination. Based on our experience at Addicted to Paradise, if we have the chance to travel this way again, I would make Trieste a destination and stay longer.
