Nice place, spacious, clean, well decorated. Responsive hosts, located close to the train station and at the same time not far from the very center. All walkable distances.

Too bad to have a kitchen in share space but not being allowed to cook (I think this should be up to guests discretion: obviously not to fry fish that would disturb other guests, but being allowed to cook some pasta would be a must). There are supermarkets nearby !

Very near to the station. Nice and helpful people working there. All the comforts (also fridge). The room was actually a two-floor room. The building is a historical one (old pony-express office and later atelier of an important sculptor). Rooms are also quite silent. Everything is new and tidy and cleaning services come quite often.

It was forbidden to cook. The rooms are a quite dark. They are at the level of the street so one must keep the curtains closed so that no one can look inside. So it is a little bit gloomy and if you travel alone you feel a little bit isolated.

It is a great location if you are arriving by Train in Trieste Centrale. If you arrive with heavy luggage you still might consider catching a taxi as there is an elevation gain of 20 m involved to get there. The bathroom was good and all the faucets worked very well. Wlan was excellent. The room was on the ground floor and very high. So a loft with an additonal bed an a sitting area was built in. 2 bottles of water and a coffeemaker were offered there too. For breakfast and meals you had to find your own choices. For getting in your room the first time you got a code for picking up your key. It worked without a problem. Grocery stores at the station or nearby the station are very convenient.

Just an idea. In Trieste they offer different garbage bins for recyclabe garbage (plastic, paper, glass etc.). Maybe it would be a possibility to offer something like that either in the room or in the hall with the kitchen.

Location was perfect for bus and train stations. Communication with owner Manu was excellent. Historic building with lots of character in room. Bed was comfortable, had a good night's sleep. Price was reasonable. Everything was clean. Aircon worked well. Bathroom was good size and shower worked well. Mezzanine floor with extra bed and drink making facilities was great

All good. No good bars/ restaurants in immediate vicinity, but lots a 10 minute walk away.

Very nice place centrally located by the train station. Two full beds on two levels in a high-ceiling room. AC made it cool, bathrooms and beds were nice, host was very accommodating and nice about meeting up for passport check.

You're not allowed to cook in the full kitchen out in the common area (three other units share the same space).

A wonderful historic building and room tastefully restored. Decorated in a manner that shows off and complements its origins. The apartment is ideally located just a couple of minutes walk to the Train/Bus station and 10 minutes walk to the main city centre.

No negative points, everything was just to my liking and expectation.

The location is OK, close to the railway station, and fairly close to downtown. My room was clean, and fairly well organized. Lights & switches were good. I liked the cute vaulted ceiling.

I expected breakfast, and got none. I found a little snack + tea&coffee in my room, though. The bed was oriented in such a way that near the pillow side there was no electric plug, nor any convenient space to put bedtime stuff like books or phone/tablet. Plug&book space was at the foot side of the bed: far from optimum. Although the property is close to downtown, it is a bit up on a hill, perhaps 40-50 m above sea level, which means that going back to your room in the evening is a bit of a climb. Nothing dramatic, but avoid this property if your heart or legs are weak...

I booked this room at the last minute due to unexpected stay in Trieste. It was very clean, comfortable and conveniently located near the Trieste Centrale station. I was able to check in online before I arrived, so I could just collect the keys and I didn’t have to interact with anyone on arrival. Very good for short-term stay, 100% recommend.

This is a fantastic place to stay, the location is perfect and the attention to detail the host has put into it is amazing. Very comfortable and very clean. The host went out of his way to make a spot inside for our e-bikes as it was impossible to leave them outside.

High ceilings, comfortable firm mattress, spacious bathroom, overall beautiful room. There's a small table set on the "second" floor which comes handy if you need to make some calls and don't want to make them from the bedroom space.

There was a paper saying we aren't allowed to use the common fridge, not sure why, really.
