A good location on the main road, excellent view from the rooftop breakfast zone, very nice pool and sauna, great breakfast, and the free parking is a great plus! The service was also excellent! We got a free upgrade to a superior double room located on the 3rd floor and overlooking the sea – which is great.

It is an older facility, the room was rather small and not very well designed, especially the bathroom! The sink drain almost did not work, and the water splash on the bathroom floor from the shower is annoying. I think, 5-star categorization is a joke.

The staff was super helpful and friendly, really great service. The family room (two rooms with connecting door) was tidy and nicely furnished especially enjoyable was the terrace with a beautiful view. The wellness area although inconvenient opening hours, was clean and well equipped, also nice and welcoming staff. It is not in located in the city center, but there is a bus station right outside.

It‘s advertised as a 5 star hotel, which I think is not quite up to date, the rooms are nice but a little worn- which can clearly be seen, for example in the bathrooms facilities or loose handles, stains on the curtains or on the wall, there was an old beer can on our balcony and the floor looked as though no one had taken care of it for quite some time. There for I think it’s a little too pricey- pool is only open 4 hours (4-8pm). Breakfast was ok, but really not exceptional, or what I am used to from a 5 star hotel.

It is a very nice hotel very well located just a 5 minute walk to the entrance to the Barcola promenade for swimming. The staff was exceptionally nice! Everyone with whom we interacted was helpful and friendly. The brunch was really lovely - the food was very good and many choices. The dining room is on the 4th floor, and we sat on the terrace with a beautiful view of the bay.

There wasn’t anything about the propert itself that we didn’t like. Getting into the city - Trieste - was a little difficult. At the time we wanted to go in for dinner, the bus was absolutely full of people coming from the beach. But the staff at the hotel called a taxi for us which solved the problem (there were not many taxis coming by). This was in 2nd weekend of September - end of season. Most likely later in the month the bus would not have been impacted.

I liked the room, the bed was big and comfortable, pillows as well, I really slept well. Saunas and pool are nice and peaceful with posibility to make yourself a tea or grab a glass of water.

I didnt like the new breakfast policy: you have to pay 10 euros extra if you want scrambled, soft boiled, sunny side up, bacon or sausage for breakfast. The other stuff for breakfast are included in the price of the room with breakfast.

The spa facilities are spacious and well run. Turkish and Finnish sauna, rest area, a pool you can swim in. Cleanliness is top notch. It's a lovely building, well kept. Parking is great, too. Breakfast is self service and reasonably well stocked with cold options and a toast maker. Would recommend.

It was a bit cold in the room and we didn't seem to be able to get it warmer with the termostat. The large double bed was actually two singles and they were sliding apart.

Good location near to Barcola strand. Good breakfast with beautiful view on Trieste bay. Sauna, gym and pool in price. Polite staff.

Could be noisy for somebody. Not sure how sound isolation works for rooms heading main road. Hotel is close to main road. We had windows to backyard so not the issue. Not sure if it is really 5 star hotel, rather 4 and 1/2.

We arrived at 3 AM in the morning and we were totally exhausted. The receptionist was very kind and because of our circumstances gave a note to the day time receptionist. The day time receptionist was very kind and allowed for a late check-out in our circumstance. Everybody there was very kind and hospital. The room was comfortable with excellent bathroom. Incredible location.

Older hotel with nice atmosphere direct on Barcola's main street, friendly staff, good parking i the yard and brethtaking view from the dining room.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was nice... however, a little more variety would be appreciated. The rooms were well designed and made. Unfortunately though, the beds were too soft and as a result I had some back pain.

Fantastic staff, very good breakfast, big and comfortable rooms, very close to the beach.
