Room was clean, nice and comfortable. Beach is near a corner, and restorant for meal is just behind a fence. Everything is just a few steps around you. We had a bicycles so city center was relatively close, but if you like to walk, it is an hour by foot. Near hotel is a public beach with a nice path surrounded by trees where you can enjoy walking or sitting on a bench.

Strange request that we need to write on a paper what do we want for brakfast. What if I want something else every morning? There is not too much options for brakfast, even tho all was fresh and tasty. In a future it would be nice to have more options for meal. Power sockets are small (thin holes) and we couldnt put our portable frigerator into power. Nevertheless, there was no problem for mobitel adapters.

The seclusion and privacy was really nice. Parking was ideal and it was nice to be out of the city to have a private swimming area. The drink service (cheap and convenient!) and breakfast was perfect. I saw many complaints about issues with breakfast, but scheduling the time and what you wanted the day prior was perfectly fine! A nice surprise was that we drove all the way to Italy from German for a concert and the hotel and swimming was so private that even the band we went to see perform stopped by for a private swim. It that gives you any idea of what the privacy is like. The beds were comfortable and the shower was really nice. Regarding the busy street and if you get a room on the road, it is safe to say the street is not busy at all late night and the walls are good enough to block all noise. We didn’t have an issue and we were in a room by the road. This stay was a perfect 2 night relaxing get away in a very unique part of Italy. I would highly recommend.

The WiFi seemed to not work for us. However we really didn’t try hard to figure it out or even ask. We have European cell phones so we didn’t need it. We did see people using laptops by the pool and I’m sure the password just wasn’t update where we got it from. Honestly not an issue.

If you want to enjoy Trieste without the crowds this place is for you. We loved the private access to the beach, the city is also not far (we took the public bus, just note it’s very packed when everyone is returning from the public beach back to the city). Very relaxing place with good aperol! 😊staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will be back!

Breakfast tasted amazing, although we didn’t like that we had to pick and note Ona. Sheet what do we want to eat the next day (mainly because we didn’t get delivered what we selected we didn’t fully understand the need for preselecting). Personally we thought a buffet breakfast would be a more pleasant experience for both the guests and the staff. It was still very delicious tho! 😊

The hotel is directly on the beach and very close to the center. The breakfast was very good. We were extremely surprised by the quality of the traditional food they served for dinner.

The hot water supply did not last very long, maybe it had to do with the cold weather so that solar heating was limited.

Facilities were limited in the off season. The beach terrace was completely closed off and so no where to sit outside and watch the sea.

Best location in Triest if you love the sea and good food. Very hospitable staff. Lovely interior and style. Small-scaled hotel to relax.

The beds are hard, if they were softer the hotel would be 10/10!

WE loved the Hotel nearby the sea. Perfectly what we expected. Nice big terrace where we could sit every day to relax and enjoy the veiw . They have a perfect restaurante also. It was so easy to park int garden . Thank you

The location right by the sea was excellent. Very good cappuccino and croissants. Kind reception staff.

The loudness of the adjoining restaurant on Saturday night. The smell of the room. Th waiters in the restaurant were not very friendly (except one who was there only once during our stay).

Tre Merli is great place if you want to stay by the sea. Room is comfortable, we loved double douvet and memory foam pillows! Trattoria has fantastic food! We are definitelly coming back 🤍.

Great place, the rooms are comfortable and offer lots of privacy. There was parking on site and it's in a quieter area close to the castles, but also close enough to the city centre and restaurants.

The breakfast didn't exactly match the items we picked on the card, but there were a lot of options.
