Nice place close to Miramare Castle. Location is great - right in front of the sea, close to Miramare castle - and the atmosphere of the villa is worth the "sacrifice" of staying out of the city center. Excellent breakfast served by a very nice and professional lady. Nice garden and romantic restaurant terrace with tasty food.

Unfortunately the villa is quite decadent from the facade to the interior common spaces and the bathroom in the room. If they restore the place then it will be a top stay place in Terst.

Great location, very romantic set up, sea across the road and Miramare castle just 10 mins by foot. Staff was super-nice and helpful, tasty breakfast and an excellent fish restaurant on the premises. Bus stop and many places to eat and enjoy a sunset close by. We truly enjoyed our stay!

No air conditioner in the room, only the electric fan. Some neighbouring bars are doing sometimes loud music till late night.

Nice private terrace with wonderfull view to the sea. Sparkling and still water for free. Clean room with comfortable bed. Friendly and flexible hosts, and great breakfast! The local restaurant offers great dishes. The beach in front of the hotel, it takes 10 euros/day for 1 person with umbrella and sunbed. Close to Miarmare castle, it takes 5 minutes by foot. Free parking, but because the turism, it is hard to find empty place. The bus 6 and 36 goes directly to heart of Trieste, ticket is 1,8 €.

Not easy to find empty parking that is close to the hotel, but this is not the hotels fault, it is condition of the street. You can find mainly before Miramare castle opens, or late hours when people go home.

Seaide - Google maps is tricky, it brings you to the rear part of the building. Street parking is easier after sunset, very challanging during the day. Our room at the top floor had AC, which was great because it was +35 degrees inside. Easily accible to Trieste city by bus (20-40 mins, depend on traffic). The "beach" is actually concrete or stone perches with rickety metal stairs and VERY crowded. If you are a sea person, go there.

Shower is tiny and doors were not properly operating in the upper floor, but was OK for washing the sea salt off 🤷

The villa is located on the coast, about 500 meters from the castle Miramare, which you can reach on foot. opposite the villa is a beach with sunbeds, for a fee - but very good. from the castle you can reach the city with public transport - as the city is 3 km from the villa. parking in front of the villa is only possible in the evening, until then everything is occupied. sufficient breakfast, there is a restaurant in the villa with the possibility of buying lunches and dinners.

We enjoyed the wonderful breakfast on the terrace as well as our room that included a small and shady balcony. Especially Nancy and Milly made our stay super welcoming and friendly.

We loved our stay but the website suggests a more upscale impression and doesn’t quite capture the actual charm and cozyness of the villa. Besides the super sweet staff in the kitchen the male staff at the reception seemed insecure welcoming us as a queer couple and at first offered us separate rooms. Nancy and Milly made us feel very welcome though.

The bathroom of our room was way too basic, could have been ok for the former concept of youth hostel but definitely not up to the concept (and the price, quite expensive for beginning of March) of a "double room with sea view". No bidet (which in Italy is a must), no electricity plug, super basic plastic shower box. Not what you would expect.

Historic waterfront hotel with view across Adriatic Sea. Private balcony. Delicious buffet breakfast enjoyed on garden terrace. Friendly and helpful staff. Within easy access of Trieste by two public bus routes. Lido for swimming just across the road. Excellent restaurant on terrace with seafood menu available for lunch and dinner.

Room quite small, and (not the fault of the hotel) on one evening, the noise from a beach party lasted until well after midnight.

Nice property, facing the sea with just a small road in between. We arrived late evening, the staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was usual continental fare, simple and sufficient. The service was quick, and friendly.

The property is located next to an autoroute/main road and our room was on the first floor (lower height than the road). Despite closing the windows and doors, the sound of passing traffic was quite audible.

A large old villa cum osteria directly overlooking the sea with views to Trieste, very attractively furnished in its public spaces. Excellent breakfast served with much charm. The terrace is an attractive place for lunch or dinner although my two meals were variable in quality.

My single room might have satisfied a monk but the narrow bed, lack of any hanging space or seating and a view onto a blank wall at the back left something to be desired.
