It was many years ago I last stayed at this excellent lakeside hotel. It has certainly not gone downhill in the least. A very comfortable experience, enhanced by the impeccably professional staff, my stay was all too brief. My room was a self-contained double with a bathroom witha proper walk-in shower with accurate water and temerature control and a sun trap balcony. I ate breakfast and dinner in house and enjoyed every mouthful. The breakfast buffet is up with the best and being able to sit out in the huge al fresco dining area a pleasure.

We loved the restaurant, really a hidden gem! The room was comfy and cozy and the shower was fantastic! Also some lovely surroundings with a park nearby and bus stop at walking distance.

The AC in the room was a little weak, unfortunately. However if you close the wooden window blinds before the sun reaches the window it’s better :) we also thought it was a shame that you can’t swim in the lake right in front of the hotel. There is a ‘pool club’ like 5min away where you can swim.

Delightful to be met at the door by a friendly welcoming face. From there every staff member was friendly, helpful, professional and dressed immaculately. Rooms were bright, immaculate, simply furnished with comfy beds and spacious bathrooms. Breakfast and dinner each night was delicious with again, cheerful, and well presented staff. Dinner menu had a good variety with dishes the chef created to send you to food heaven, love this hotel.

The Hotel, staff, place and rooms were great. Rooms were spacious and clean. We were positively surprised. Would reccommend to make reservation for the restaurant and have a dinner there. I am greatefull for the stay. Sincere thanks!

Maybe you would consider to have something warm for breakfast. Less cakes and sweets, but at least hot water/tea for self service and hot egs. (upon request Coffee and tea was served really pleasantly and was really good). Thank you.

Location right next to the lake, peaceful and quiet. Comfortable bed and pillows. Good bathroom facilities. Booked and paid extra for a lake view room, could only get a very small peek of the lake through lots of trees. It was a lovely setting though. Restaurant closed Wednesday nights so didn’t get to experience it. Breakfast was adequate. Reception and wait staff at breakfast very friendly and efficient.

Very well run property on Lake Varese, from efficient and pleasant checkin to the lovely restaurant, offering decent breakfast buffet and a la carte dining on the terrace or dining room. Plenty of free car park available, spacious rooms at reasonable prices. Owners are very hands-on involved with positive effect on the quality of the hotel services.

Pity not allowed to swim in the lake.

The breakfast buffet is everything you expect from a continental breakfast with the plus that the products are fresh and the best you can imagine in "Italian style".

Well, at night while I was already in bed I could smell some cigarette smoke coming from "somewhere" but I couldn't really figure where it was coming from. It happened twice around 11 pm.

The room was good and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is quite nice, with the lake just a few meters away from the hotel.

We could hear some noise from other rooms in the morning and the room didn't get completely dark. The breakfast was good but we would appreciate some scrambled eggs to be included.

The place is nice and has a good location for what brought us there. The staff is friendly and the room size is good. The breakfast was pretty basic, but not bad.

The bed, at least for us, wasn't comfortable; it felt very hard. The pillows were definitely impossible to sleep on.

Picturesque surroundings, very friendly welcome at the reception and during breakfast. The breakfast was very good and quite rich and coffee was excellent. Main destinations like Varese center, Milano, famous lakes were not far away.

It was too hot in the room. The blankets were too thick and warm, given that the air-conditioner did not allow to set up the temperature lower than 22,5 degrees. We would be willing to have max 18-20 degrees overnight. For breakfast we were missing vegetables. It would be good to have some tomatoes and cucumbers.
