Maybe the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Friendly staff, ready to assist you at any of your request. Convenient location near the city centre, train station and attractions. Plenty of parking spots, large and rooms with heating. You can hear no noise in the room, nor in the whole hotel. Breakfast is basic but enough to cover any needs. I asked to leave my bike and staff for a few days, as I was travelling elsewhere and I would return in a few days and they promptly offered a secure room in the hotel to assist me.I am longing to return to this exceptional hotel!

We recently stayed at Hotel di Varese. The hotel is at a good location (near the historical area). The hotel is very pleasant - it’s clean, the food is good and the service is excellent! The entire stuff was extremely kind and nice. They were available 24/7 to our needs, and helped with patience to every question we asked. The stuff was wonderful! We want to thank Aloisia, Samueve, Angelica, Nicholas and Arianna. We would also like to say a good word about Giusy who works at the breakfast buffet. She was super nice, gave us excellent and quick service. The entirety of the stuff was very responsive to EVERYTHING we asked. They went above and beyond to assist us and make our stay the best it can possibly be. My family and I highly recommend staying at Hotel di Varese!

It is 1 min away from the pedestrian area, I.e. the centre with great shops bars and restaurants. The staff were all super nice and helpful as in willing to make my experience as pleasant as possible. They have a garage with electric charge and for me that is a must Breakfast was delicious with several vegan options like soy yogurts and non dairy milks

Nothing .. however when arriving both the street and the reception are underwhelming and I heard myself thinking “is this really the place?” But the building is super functional and beautiful and clean and freshly maintained

Location was excellent! 5 min walk to the left of hotel there's a small alleyway right pass Limbosco restaurant, delicious!! Also Bologna restaurant, both a must eat!! Alleyway from Hotel di Varese will take you right to the city center of Varese with tons of shops & restaurants. Now, right from the start the Reception checkin, free parking, super clean throughout! Elegant hotel with superb service from all staff!! Room size, comfortable bed, shower water pressure excellent!! Breakfast was plentiful... (pistachio croissant OMG) drinks, coffee anything you want available 24/7 the staff will accommodate. Truly impeccable service from all staff members no matter what time of day or night that we may have ask for something. Absolutely, recommend this hotel and if ever in the area again without hesitation would stay there again❤️ Aloisia, Angelica, Francesca, Nickolas, Samuel & housekeeping staff will help you with all your needs at anytime, with anything, just ask!😊

The location is excellent - a short walk to either train station and in to the central-pedestrianized area. The room and bathroom decor is new, modern and beautiful, and the bed was extremely comfortable. As we were there in July, we needed the air conditioning and it worked perfectly. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful and informative when providing recommendations for restaurants and information about train journeys. And the rear garden is a lovely place to rest and chat.

There was nothing we didn't like. Everything was great.

The hotel was modern and very clean. We went to dinner and when we came back and they had made the bed again after our nap with candy on our pillow. The staff was so friendly and very helpful! Secure parking was easy and right on the premises. You just walk a minute and you are in the historical part of the city with many shops, restaurants and gelato places. We loved it here.

For a 4 star hotel the options for breakfast was very limited. What you see in the pictures is what is offered.

Very friendly staff. Nicely renovated. Possibility to have the breakfast on the terrace even though everyone else had theirs inside (temparatures were not that high)

Nothing was bad, but note that I first thought the shower looked bad. I later noticed that it probably comes from the very nice "tiles" that are from rock. Most probably, there's iron in there that makes for a rusty look after some time. Anyway, turns out the shower felt clean after some inspection. The other thing is that there is a sauna, but I guess you would need to ask for it to be warmed up ahead of time if you wished to use it. These are the two things that come to my mind, but we loved this place.

We booked a 'superior' room which was spacious, light, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast room was flooded with daylight and decorated in the hotel's signature tranquil and tasteful style. The breakfast offering was excellent. Location was perfect; just a few minutes from the centro storico and the train station. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We would have liked another 'easy' chair in the room.

Large room and large bathroom, very large and comfortable bed. Staff friendly, efficient, welcoming. Umbrellas provided - and needed! Very good breakfast, good coffee, pleasant atmosphere. Hotel well located for those without a car - it is near to the train stations; direct trains to Milano, Lugano, Como, Malpensa . .

Lighting somewhat eccentric. An empty refrigerator would have been preferable to a stuffed minibar! Via Como itself is not especially easy to negotiate either with a car or on foot.

An impressively refurbished old building on a narrow city street, but with plenty of parking space in the courtyard. Exemplary professional and friendly welcome; and a well-fitted out high-ceilinged room. Excellent breakfast (but not served on the terrace)

The central area of Varese was a bit of a disappointment - quite scruffy in places, but it’s a real working city rather than a tourist haunt.
