The welcome by the manager/owner of the small hotel was very warm and gentle. In the evening I went down to the reception/bar and asked to buy a bottle of mineral water. The owner (still there) told me that the water in the room was potable so I didn't have to buy from the bar, unless I wanted sparkling water. A very nice gesture, where in many other places they would just happily sold you a bottle for like 5 euro....

I really loved how the lady was there every morning and able to make us literally any type of coffee we want!!! She was also really nice. So were the check in and check out staffs, they offered us service in English and French!!!! In Italy. Very authentic and lovely. They even had pistachio croissants and amazing fruits!

Honestly, maybe the fact that it was raining a lot on our way there. Parking was a bit narrow but if you are from Europe, you should be fine. It's right next to the train track, so it could be a problem for some troubled sleepers, but you barely hear it.

The staff were very kind and nice, The overall hotel is cute and nice, the room was good.

Breakfast is very very modest, not much! The shower is really small , so if you have a bit of a belly , count it out of the shower ! The main downside is that the hotel is just by the rail, so you would very loudly hear the train passing by, day and night.

Location 15 minute walk into Centro Historico. Both train stations an easy 10 minute walk away. Great base for Lake Maggiore, Como and Milan. Great breakfast and nice hotel

Booking.com charged me twice for the hotel. I prepaid but they didn't pay the hotel. It was not a pleasant experience trying to get a refund. The hotel helped me more than booking.com.and it was not their fault.

Marvellous staff with a natural unforced friendliness, pleased to help in any way they can. The decor of the public rooms is exceptionally appealing, and our bedroom was also very attractively presented. The whole hotel gave an impression of being extremely well cared for. A refreshing change from the ubiquitous hotel chains. An excellent breakfast and good underground parking.

The location, next to a railway line, is not great - a pity for such a very good small hotel. Evening meals were not available during our visit - not sure if this is always the case - but there is at least one good restaurant nearby.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is well located for the town centre and has its own parking. It had an attractive alpine feel and character and was comfortable and well maintained. Although close to a railway line we were not disturbed

It was not the easiest to find being a little set back from one of the main roads

Nice and welcoming staff, very good for one night stay, and pretty close to the restaurant and bars area.

There are trains passing by the window constantly from early morning to late night (the noise can be reduced by shutting the window). The shower water was warm, but not very hot.

Very friendly personnel! Simple, but comfortable atmosphere. Although near the railroad, no noice from it is to hear in the room at all! Parking spaces near the hotel with video-surveillance. Clean! Many towels in the room.

The staff is very helpful. They remember us from last year. Made us feel at home for the brief time we stayed. We will be back next year.
