Great location and so quiet at night. Beautiful and decorative inside. Comfortable beds and very clean rooms. It was lovely overall.

The breakfast opens a little late at 9 and it wasn’t great, just pastries and cereal.

We stayed in the Junior Suite overlooking the canal and it could not have been a more perfect place to stay in this beautiful city! Everything about Ca’amadi is suffused with beauty, elegance and a sense of history. This 13th century palazzo once belonged to the Marco Polo family but has been converted to a wonderful guest house: the views are stunning, the furnishings are luxurious, the beds were unbelievably comfortable, the bathroom impeccable and our host Svetlana was charming, friendly and happy to share her knowledge of the area with us. Our children spent hours watching the gondoliers ferry their passengers up and down the canal from our window and the location (5 minutes from Rialto, 7 to San Marco) cannot be bettered. I would not hesitate to recommend most highly! Thank you Svetlana, for a truely wonderful stay in Venice!

Great location - not far away from Rialto bridge (and vaporetto station) and from a few very nice cafes and restaurants. The second bed was located in a detached room, which gave better feeling of privacy. Equipped kitchen, with cutlery, plates, cups, etc. Electrical kettle. Authentic appearance/decoration.

Stairs are unavoidable in order to reach reception and, in our case, the room. That's alright for the majority of people, but not if they have legs/feet conditions. Quite a noisy water boiler, which (because of energy saving reasons) gets turned off automatically and requires manual intervention in order to launched again.

What did I like? Pretty much everything. Service was good, and all our requests were handled efficiently and smoothly. I liked the room itself, it was quite large. I also enjoyed the location (except for some difficulties with leaving to the airport, but it's not the hotel's fault). It was also clean in the room.

I didn't like the breakfast. It was very limited. Additionally, please mind the stairs. There's no elevator, and you'll have to transport your heavy luggage yourself. I was with my mom, so I had to take care of 2 bags, which was a lot.

We were in a family apartment across from the main hotel and it was perfect for us. The location was minutes from The Rialto Bridge and in a good loacation for St Marks Sq, The Basillica. Breakfast was eur10.00 each and was adequate. The room was good, air con ok, shower pressure ok and the kitchen facilities were good if you were self catering. The second room was small but ok for the 3 days we were there for my daughter.

Nothing to dislike, but we couldn’t get in the gate once it was locked.. luckily I was in the room but my daughter couldn’t get in so had to call me to get up and unlock the gate.. this was only 11pm.. maybe trouble with our key. No shower gel in our room (oversight by cleaners).. thats it! Otherwise fantastic place to stay and I’d to back.

This apartment is in a very central location in Venice with plenty to do right near by, but the little courtyard makes it quiet and calm - a real getaway from a city that can be very crowded. The beds were very comfortable. I loved that there was a mini bedroom for my daughter. Quiet, peaceful, comfortable. We loved staying at Ca Amadi.

Just little things - like it would be nice to have a real chef's knife and a bread knife. Pretty well-equipped,otherwise.

The hotel has a very special feel, I wanted our Venetian experience to be full on Venice style, not a regular Holiday Inn type room and that's exactly what we got at Ca'Amadi. Our room was on the canal, it was lovely to see the gondoliers setting up in the morning by the nearby bridge. Plenty of hot water and a great shower! The breakfast room is stunning with a balcony overlooking the canal. I loved the simple breakfast, fresh pastries, breads, fruit, nuts, cereals, coffee and juice. If you're into a large cooked breakfast, this hotel may not be for you! We loved our stay, thank you.

The hotel is tricky to find! It's near the Rialto Bridge, turn right just before a pale pink building, you'll see a confectionary shop on the right. Turn right alongside it, then there's a sign for Ca'Amadi on top of a restaurant, it's very close then. Make sure you get the codes for the doors. The staff are on the whole lovely, however the lady at breakfast looked like she didn't want to be there and wasn't particularly pleasant to us. It's a shame because this trip was special to us and I felt unwelcome by her.

Svetlanna was a very nice host. We got lost as it’s a tricky one to find. Then when approaching you feel slightly concerned as it’s a little unkempt looking. However , Svetlanna is very welcoming. She explained how it’s a boutique hotel with only 7 rooms - all on the same floor as reception. We also got the gate / entrance codes and emergency contact numbers for when reception is closed in the evenings. Then we went to our room - it was huge , spotlessly clean , quite grand with a beautiful view of the canal and also new large bathroom. The only problem the first night was mosquitoes. We like to keep the window open so couldn’t and it was too warm. We bought a plug in mosquito repellent and some body spray and then everything was perfect. Great price . Don’t worry about first impressions walking in. It’s really ideal - good location, clean, very spacious family room, great canal view.

It looks unkempt when arriving. Especially as the laundry bags are being prepared for collection at front of house. A little clean up , some potted plants and a vase of flowers or potted plants at reception could remedy this making it more welcoming. However , once you reach your room it’s lovely , very clean, spacious, lovely Venetian decor and it is good value. Thank you Svetlanna! You are very nice!

The hotel is right next to the canal. So you can get the view of gondola passing by. It's right close to the center, but in a small alley, so you can get enough peace away from the busy area. There are many good and cheap restaurants nearby as well. The room has the old luxurious vibe with high ceiling and chandelier.

It is crazily noisy at night, boat taxi or whatever passing by with loud music even at 2AM or 6AM. I wish the hotel had better noise proof.

Fabulous location and comfortable bed.

The shower overflowed quickly and water flooded the bathroom and almost flooded our room. We tried calling for help but the numbers we were told to call didn’t work. When I told the front desk person later in the day she said that this couldn’t be helped because all the drains were problematic in Venice. When we arrived the person checking us in didn’t welcome us or even try to talk to us. She just asked for our passports and processed us without trying to be nice.
