The room was smaller, but had everything we needed for one night! I think if we had been staying for more than the one night, we would have wanted something larger. Check-in was easy and everyone was super friendly. The room was clean. Part of the reason we booked here was because the decor was more old world. The location was great and very close to the Rialto stop.

I think this must be a European thing, but the pillows were a bit thin. This wasn't an issue though as it was just the one night and we were exhausted from traveling! This would not stop me from booking here again.

The property was in a perfect location, the staff gave great directions on how to get there from the airport and as we were a late arrival gave instructions on how to self check in. It was so close to Rialto and we managed to find our way easily around the city. Room was clean and the maid came in everyday. We had a late flight home and we were able to leave our luggage behind reception to enjoy our day.

The tv was small and only one English Channel, wasn’t a major issue would have just been nice to have more choice. Also more plug sockets would have been good, I could only find one that we could use with our adaptor plugs. Two very small details, which would not put me off staying here again.

Our family of four stayed at this hotel for two nights and three days, from June 18th to 20th. At our request, we were kindly allowed to check in one hour earlier than the standard time, which was incredibly helpful after a long, exhausting journey under the scorching sun, carrying heavy luggage. At the reception, we were welcomed by a very polite and friendly gentleman who answered all our questions and showed us to our room. The room was clean, well-prepared, and the bed linen was fresh – which for me is absolutely essential. If I ever have concerns about the cleanliness of bed linen, that hotel is immediately off my list! Our room had been freshly cleaned before our arrival, again on the second day of our stay, and after our departure on the third. I would especially like to highlight the wonderful service of Señora Dusya, who speaks Russian and was very helpful in answering our questions, as well as those of other Russian-speaking guests. She was the one who kindly informed us on the day of the vaporetto (waterbus) strike, advised us to keep an eye on updates via phone, and provided other useful tips during our stay. In fact, I noticed her even earlier – a petite lady who often walked past our room, always busy with something and quietly humming to herself. She was always smiling and radiated positive energy. The hotel is perfectly located in the historic center of Venice, with some rooms offering a beautiful view of the canal. Just across the courtyard, there is a charming pizzeria with reasonable prices and great food – clearly a popular spot based on how many people were dining there. On the day of our departure, the hotel staff kindly allowed us to leave our luggage with them until the evening. Though the hotel reception closed at 19:00 that day, and we needed to collect our bags at 20:00, Señora Dusya graciously agreed to stay an extra hour just for us. We were incredibly grateful for this act of kindness.

The atmosphere and the vibe were matching the city. Lovely canal view, central location, easy to navigate from main railway (around 20 min by foot) and 15 min to main square. Our check-in was possible earlier which was really cool! Good bed and pillows, cleaning was every day, our room had a kettle, tea and coffee and they were refreshed every day which was super nice!

On the ground floor many shops and restaurants and it might cause some noise. I’d recommend earplugs for light sleepers.

We had a large, corner, en-suite room overlooking the square. With the windows open you could hear the energetic street sounds from the shops and cafes below, but with the windows closed, most of the noise was blocked. We were surprised how sound-proofed it became. The room had air conditioning, so we used that at night. If you're sensitive to noise, bring a sound machine. The location was great. There are shops and cafes all along the paths, and it is just a 5-minute walk to the Ca'd'Oro Vaporetto stop and about a 6-minute walk to the Rialto Bridge. The train was a quick 10-min Vaporetto trip from Ca'd'Oro. Really, this was a most convenient place. Everything is easy walking distance -- which is part of the charm of Venice! We stayed 3 nights.

The hair dryer was weird. I was glad I had brought my own international hair dryer and plug adapters. Remember that in much of Europe, face cloths are not provided. If you use one, bring your own.

Traditional Italian style. Super clean, great location and staff are very friendly and happy to guide you in the right direction. Fabulous view from our room ( paid extra for this see photo) Also very really good air con.

Room was a little small. ( We did have big cases from a wedding). The windows are not sound proof so if the gondola staff are having a good chat you can hear everything! But in all fairness this is to be expected if you have a water side room.

The hotel is amazing and it just represents the style of Venice. The manager was very friendly, polite and kind. The workers clean the rooms every day around noon. About location - really incredible as one of the canals is just under your windows. We could take lots of pictures on the bridge that you can see in the photos here. There are lots of nice and cozy restaurants and cafes nearby, so it's so easy to find a comfortable place to eat or just refresh yourself a little bit. And the same situation with shops)) It took us only 15-20 minutes on foot to get to the main bridge of Venice. So I'm absolutely satisfied with the hotel's service and highly recommend it👌✨️

The location is good, but not ideal for a family, as the windows overlook a very crowded place that does not sleep until late at night. Otherwise, everything is great: comfortable beds, enough space inside the rooms, warm and clean.

Great location, very clean, helpful staff, shower pressure and temperature was perfect. Supermarket is 1 min walk away. Multiple restaurants, bakery etc right outside the door. Receptionist was very helpful when helping to organise transport to airport in the middle of the night.

Power of hairdryer was very weak. Noisy at night however this is unsurprising due to central location.
