The hotel staff was extremely helpfull (we needed to make calls to our car rental agency, and they not only let us use their phone, but talked to them for us, since we didn`t speak italian very well). The recepcionist is a gentleman, completely in love with the city itself. Pierluigi, thanks for being so nice to us!

There are no lifts for the rooms, but the hotel staff carried our luggage for us, so it wasn`t really a problem.

The location was great - whether you walk towards the left or the right, you will find many local restaurants, etc. San Marcos Square/Basilica is 11 minutes walking. A 5 minute walk and you can catch the AliLaguna boat that for €15 takes you directly to the airport in about 30 minutes. I stayed at the Private Suites and the unit was beautifully remodelled with a modern touch. It was very comfortable for 3 people - there is a twin bed in the loft for 1 person and a large Queen bed on the 1st floor which can probably sleep 3 people.

There is NO ELEVATOR so make sure you can carry your luggage up 2 floors. Also the building is not on the water so you will have to walk 5-6 minutes with your luggage if you travel through water - which is the easiest way to travel in Venice. Lastly I wish they had a Nespresso machine for coffee.

It's in a great location. Right in with the restaurants and bars but set off the main road enough that there's no noise at all. The massive windows have a good curtain so you can get almost total darkness (important to light sleepers like me). The bed is huge (I'm 6'3 and my husband is 5'11 and we had so much space each!) and comfortable with good quality pillows. The room was quiet and well proportioned. The decorations felt quite high quality

Your coffee pods don't get restocked each day which feels a bit cheap when you've booked a premium room. Also if you want a change of towels before 3 days there is an actual menu for what you can have replaced and the charges. Luckily wasn't an issue for us on this trip but I think hotels are already saving lots of money by not replacing your towels each day anyway, but then to charge on top of the (not cheap) room price seems excessive. The plus sockets weren't finished to the best standards as one of them came off the wall and our travel adapter didn't fit into all of them, which was odd. We managed fine, just couldn't figure out why it would fit in some but not others. Other than that it was a great room and would probably stay again if revisiting Venice

It was a big room for 3 of us with my friends, the rooms were clean gave free food and the toilet was amazing, i mistakely left my wallet in a room and one of the staff came right away to give it to us it was an amazing experience i recommend this hotel as is a very good hotel and the price is perfect.

-Breakfast was good and abundant, and fresh. Many options. Presentation was also appetizing. -The hotel has their own Private dock for water taxi. A big plus. You dont have to drag your luggages to the public transportation to and from the airport. That is if you're willing to pay more for private transportation. -another big plus is the Aircon. In the summertime, the heat is almost unbearable. The AC is working great, so we're happy and satisfied with that. -Employees are nice and ready to assist and help with any questions and enquiries. -cleaning ladies are also efficient and nice. -the location is centrally located. Restaurants right outside the hotel, walking distance to Mark's Square and Rialto bridge, etc -high ceilings, so it gives a feeling of big space -shower jets in the bathroom was good -there is a bidet you can use -good, comfortable beds and sizes -towels are changed every 3days

-big minus for us was the internet being in and out of connection. I think it's because our room was placed far from the internet router in the hallway. (Room 6). We had to sit in the dining area to access to the internet uninterrupted. -fridge in our room was not working. Tried to fix it, we thought it helped, but it didn't. Informed the cleaning lady, but it was already almost at the end of our stay, so we didnt see the need for them to fix it on our stay. We hope that they're going to fix it for the next guests. It is important to store cold water there when it's hot outside.

The location was amazing.We took the Marive ferry service and it was a very short walk. The air conditioning in the building and room was simply superb. We had stayed a few nights in italy prior to this, and the A/C situation was tenuous at best. But here? Amazing. The room was spacious and beautiful. My friend said that her shower was the best shower she had the entire time she was in europe. We did not have the breakfast.

The check in was a few short blocks away. We weren't entirely aware of this before we arrived, but probably not the hotel's fault as I think they messaged us through the app. We also failed to follow the simple instructions on the door that told us where the check-in property was at, which caused us to walk around for a little longer than necessary. Again, not entirely the hotels fault, but it happened.

Good price for Venice stay. 8 min walk to Rialto bridge. 10 min walk from ferry. If you are arriving to Venice with a big suitcase, everything will be hard for you because there are a lot of bridges for walking and there are few steps at the hotel. It was not so hard to take our room key from another hotel because it was 30 mt.away. Thanks to the staff who walked with us to the Proverbi suites. At the room the bed was very comfartable, shower and water was fine. The staff was helpfull. They cleaned our room everyday.

Heater system was strange, everyday when we get inside the room we opened it, but sometimes it worked, sometimes it closed itself. Lucky for us, weather was fine. Above our room probably there were a family with a child and the kid run all the time when they are at the hotel/home so the noice was too much.

Location was great, tucked in the corner of the Piazza, steps from the Rialto Bridge, but this neighborhood itself is relatively quiet and feels residential. Water Taxi can pick you up immediately next to the hotel. The room itself is huge, the bathroom well appointed and up-to-date. Having the bedroom on the second floor loft is a lovely touch. Air conditioner worked splendidly.

This property is not directly attached to the hotel so check in is a little bit of small inconvenience. Venice is expensive. Value is fair.

couldnt even ask for a bowl because its restricted to staff only. had to walk 70m to get glasses at reception because reception is at a different hotel. wanted 2 glasses of wine had to walk there at midnight myself to get them. wasnt a 4starred suite service id expect. place has no elevator. we were a group of 5 ppl with 8 luggages so had to carry those up and down the stairs ourselves.
