Spacious bedroom, a view of a canal, good continental breakfast. Friendly staff and lovely breakfast room, lady. On the edge of the centre of things, so a bit quieter. Easy walking to shops, restaurants, sights, and ferries. If your parking at Tranchetta, take the waterbus straight to the Rialto stop, as it's then only 8 or so minutes walk to the hotel. Google will take you on two separate waterbuss and 20 to 30 minutes walk all up with your bags.

The bath was a bit awkward.

Hotel was at a very nice location. Breakfast was okay and enough. (I would like to see and eat more vegetables cucumber and salad in the morning. They didnt have it at the buffet. So i’ve bought that from the market which was very close to our hotel. But except these they ‘ve got everything) they only give coffee capsule at the 1st day of your stay. And if you finish this, its over, if you ask for another capsule then you have to pay for it. Another interesting thing was if you want your towels to be changed then its again extra. They only change the towels once in 3 days .. this was again an interesting moment for us. Besides everything was perfect. Veronica at the reception was very helpful. She upgraded our room for free. Thans to her again that we had a perfect hotel experience.

Everything.! We were moved to another building for our stay, owing to remedial works in the main hotel - this was no hassle at all The suite we were allocated was stunning. Clean, newly renovated with everything we needed. The building was super secure and they provided umbrellas! The staff were helpful and amazing - I’d forgotten plug adapters - they leant me some to use for my stay The location is perfect - we walked from the bus station and it took about 20 mins, and a lovely walk. Everything was close by - the Rialto bridge, St Marks sq, the water bus - it’s an entirely walkable city

There is literally nothing not to like

All the staff in the hotel were very kind and ready to help in everything. The hotel location is perfect if you choose to arrive via waterbus (Alilaguna - blue line), just 5 minutes from the drop-off station (F.TE Nova "A"). This drop-off station is also perfect if you are planning to visit the islands Murano (1 stop) and Burano (2 stops). The rooftop terrace is friendly to enjoy the sunset. There is no party noise in the evening, so you can sleep well. Even the grocery shop (Coop) is just a 2-minute walk away if you want to get some water to drink. You will need 3 full days to walk through the city at normal speed (mid age).

The breakfast should be more colorful, with no vegetables to offer at all in the morning (at least during our stay).

The Hotel is al ocated perfectly in the center to reach all sights like Rioalto Bridge, Marcus Square by foot. Also to get to the public Airport Transport boats less than 10min. Rooms are absolutely fine, small but with a real good bed. Breakfast is for the price of EUR 12,00 just great. And of course the staff is extrmely helpful and nice. The receptionist Cathryn was awesome and so helpful with everything I had. I would always stay again in the Hotel and can just recomend. 10 of 10 points! Thank you for the great days my mum and me had.

There was nothing to complain.

I stayed here for 5 days, 4 nights. It was an excellent option to explore Venice from the city's heart. I didn`t use boats, only walked on my feet everywhere. The hotel is 15 min to San Marco Square. The room was small but enough space for everything, the bathroom is pretty big, compare to the room ) heating and hot water, and many towels were included. Good breakfast. Cruasans and meat were so delicious! There is also an elevator and rooftop. You can observe a beautiful view on Venice from the 4th floor The food store in 1 min near the hotel, and trattorias and gift shops are also very close.

Excellent continental selection- plenty to chose and eat. Good value. Beautiful location. Quiet “local” area of Venice. Walking into this district , the crowds disappear, calm and more of a local feel. Excellent area of choice. 15 min walk to St Marks Square. Make sure you check out beautiful roof top terrace. Views, peace, sunset.

It was perfect really, only negative comment was mould in shower grouting. Very very clean otherwise. Small detail would make all the difference.

I had the perfect stay possible at Ca' d'Oro: the hotel was excellent and situated in a very picturesque area of Venice - only a 10 minute walk from Rialto, 15 minutes away from Piazza San Marco. My room was small but very clean, comfortable and quiet. Bathroom facilities were modern, spotless and perfectly equipped. Breakfast was a true highlight, offering a wide range of products suitable for every taste. I especially enjoyed a different type of cake every morning :) Staff was very friendly and always available in case of need. I wholeheartedly recommend Ca' d'Oro and I'd definitely go back there when visiting Venice again.

It is perfectly located, only a few minutes' walk from the Ca 'D'Oro ferry stop. Also, the hotel is clean and welcoming. On the first day, a complimentary bottle of water was provided in the room.

I stayed in a room close to the elevator, so I heard every person entering or exiting the hotel on the second floor, nevertheless, I am not a light sleeper, so it was OK with me. Only disappointed by the coffee quality and the view from the window to the outside shutters, which cover the "no city view" of the courtyard.

Hotel in very good location. Loved the roof terrace and views over the rooftops and down the canals. Very good breakfast choices. Friendly staff

There was a bit of a smell from the drains in the bathroom at low tide. I mentioned this and the housekeeper put some chemicals down the drain
